An old wanderer.

Earth was the first rock I set foot on. Honestly I have no idea why I didnt think of it sooner. I was very different then. It was very different then. Very unsure, from many points of view.

I felt it crack underneath me, the dirt caked my underside as I dug myself in a bit. Did this hurt it? It didnt seem to respond. I pushed the dirt around. Found rocks. I pushed them around too. Piled the dirt and rocks together in many great piles. Why havent I done this sooner. I had created so many of these things yet I never set myself upon one before Earth.

For the first time I felt like i was enjoying myself. Genuine happiness, I'm sure, more than I've ever felt since. My many eyes began to weep happily. And those tears were many, and they filled the pits between the earthen piles.

This planet was my first true work. My first child. Gaia, the first constant.
