so i’ve been thinking of completely revamping this blog

it’s p obvious that i’ve kinda lost my muse for kyoura -- or at least my old interpretation of him

lately, i can’t help coming up with ideas for a verse in which he was never killed by sesshomaru

i sort of want to revamp him into the terrifying force-to-be-reckoned-with that he and the other war gods should have been

i want to do him that justice and give him the true recognition that his producers didn’t

Spring.

A time for new beginnings after bittersweet ends. A time of birth and growth and change. For the scarlet haired Daiyoukai, it was a time of hope. For with Spring came the promise of Summer.

As he stood upon a cliff side, proudly overlooking the edge, sanguine gaze cast upon the horizon, he wondered if the time should ever come when he was to return home. Many of his brethren most likely assumed him dead; perhaps it should remain that way. However, he found that he often missed the soft, warm sands against his heels, the vibrant orange of the evening sun’s coat upon the dunes, among many other things he could remember.

His time spent reflecting upon his sentiments was cut short though, as a familiar scent carried itself to him in the afternoon breeze. His attention turned from the vast world beneath him to the source of the scent, which stood just in front of the treeline to allow him a clear view of whose company he had been placed in.

“You’re late,” he said mildly, with no sincere annoyance behind the phrase, “I was almost beginning to think you’d miss the sunset.”
