#The fact that you use multiple words is the whole reason it's not the same
#Madrugada is not even just dawn
#Madrugada is that moment of the day where the light is starting to trickle in and — up in the mountains you can see that beautiful mist
#And it's such a nice cold
#And of course the very beginning is so very dark and that cold is sharper but you're cozy and can tell soon it'll be light
#I love waking up early ok?
#Anyways for anyone confused *amanecer* is dawn
#Madrugada and the adjacent verb — madrugar — don't really exist in English #Which i think is a shame
#Madrugar and trasnochar are very dear to me but apparently english speakers didn't do either enough to give them words
To be fair, trasnochar would be "pulling an all-nighter" so they technically have that term too? But its a lot of words. Again.
They dont have that beautiful quirk of spanish of making everything a verb 😔
(Therefore having lots of one word nouns)
