Rebecca Blake could also put temporary tattoos on any part of her skin that IS exposed. Explanations of premises below cut

Boy.net has a wonderfully memeric title to me. Boy.net just amuses me as a sound. The actual premise is about spacemarines linked to a computer system which, among other things, masculinizes you. This book easily could slap, Lydia Morehouse wrote LINK angels which was a hugely influential series to me as a teen. I trust her, she's no stranger to gender and queer things.... but we shall see how the premise and worldbuilding are executed.

The Cage is about a human zoo and the lead falls in love with one of the aliens who abducted her and several other teens. It's surprising I haven't read and covered it yet, it's obviously the kind of niche YA I would love to unpack.

Eve and Adam is about a girl whose mom asks her to design a boy using a computer program. The boy then is made real. This is also the plot of the Disney channel original movie How To Build A Better Boy. It's an oddly specific but not uncommon plot. I will likely enjoy this book— you know i love consciousness and robots

BETHANY'S SIN, is, to my approximate knowledge, about a man who moves to a town where men fair poorly. It turns out this is because every (?) night (?) The women turn into (?) Horses and terrorise (?) Them.

The Last Leap is a pulp sci-fi short story collection— my favourite! This one is very vague about its contents however, only promising it isn't KID STUFF. It's rather condescending on the back actually, declaring this is SERIOUS sci-fi with REAL DEEP THOUGHTS. I've never seen a book like this be so defensive of its contents.

Keep the Giraffe Burning. Another pulp sff short story collection, this one is absurdist. This makes it hard to sum up beyond 'it's pretty ridiculous, a bit surreal, and the book begins with an author's note establishing there's no deeper meaning"
