    𝓨𝑜𝓊 know, if you really consider it, Fire Emblem Heroes is an amazing way for all Fire Emblem series && blogs to interact and merge without clashing in story or character plot!

    Since all paths collide either through combat against or alongside others, it’s an incredible way for all of our blogs to be granted a fair opening to interact with one another freely. In all genuine honesty, you don’t even really have to play heroes to include yourself in it? Read up the wiki for the basic premise and you’ve basically got the gist of everything, y’know?

    I really hope more people start to make Askr/Emblian OCs and add Heroes verses to their muses- it’d be such an amazing way to broaden everyone’s horizons with partners, experience, as well as a lot of other things! I think it’d bring us closer as a community altogether- even if we are diverged by our selected games.

    Forrest seemed quite content in buying her something. The mage had opened her mouth to provide protest, however she merely let it close after a moment, smiling more warmly at the other. There was no point in arguing with the prince, now was there? 

    “Well, if you would like to, then I guess I cannot really complain.” the blind woman offered with a soft laugh. He certainly was a kind one- somewhat easier to get along with than the Prince she was a retainer for had been when they first met. “And do not worry about it! Everything I have ever heard about you has been quite lovely! From what I know you are a wonderful individual- which is really all that concerns me.”

    Even before she lost her sight, Sága never understood the controversy about Forrest’s fashion choices. He was still a lovely person, and was that not the primary point? The Dark Mage herself had never seen any issue with it, and now even more so than before.

    “Come now.” the Swordmaster’s chirps with a tut. She taps the end of her sword to the palm of her hand, large, plump lips slowly pressing into a rather flirtatious smile as her eyes bat a few times.

    “You must know how to treat a lady properly.” there’s a hint of teasing in her tone as she swings her sword, letting the dull edge of the blade rest on her clothed shoulder. “Though, I suppose I might as well let this slide, seeing as you are fairly cute~”

☪ Mother

    Sága hadn’t really intended for those words to come out, they just found their way past her lips before the young woman could really think them through. As soon as her mother had turned to face her, Sága flinched back a little. She hadn’t genuinely desired to discuss her own insecurities about Effie’s affections towards her, yet it seemed as if the older she’d gotten the less and less her mother seemed to really look her way anymore.

    “I just ... kind of feel like I have disappointed you, Mother.” she shifts in discomfort, somewhat grateful for the fact she cannot see the expression on her mother’s face. It makes speaking just a little bit easier, even if she can still hear her tone and vocal cues perfectly. “I can never fight like you can- not anymore- and I just .. I do not feel like you support the path I took. I do try my best- I really do but .. I know I can never be as strong as you are.” 

    Sága knew fully well she was being selfish in her claims. Her mother was a busy woman, it wasn’t like she could drop everything, but it seemed like when the Nohrian needed Effie’s comfort and support the most, she wasn’t really by her side. Maybe that was the Mage’s fault, Sága was always so quick to claim she was perfectly fine, to act like these things- these disabilities that know cripple her- never bothered her.

    Yet all Sága ever did was belittle herself for not being strong enough to handle training like her mother, for losing one of her biggest assets caused by her own poor judgments.  

   “..I am sorry mother, it was out of line for me to question your affection for me.” guilt immediately began to wash over the young Retainer, she shouldn’t project her emotions so harshly on Effie like that.

Characterization Headcanon#3

    Sága doesn’t often keep her eyes closed despite their lack of reliability. Even though she knows she’ll never see again, Sága can’t adjust to always having her eyes shut, not only does it feel odd to her physically, but she knows it would create a permanent crutch for her around other people.

    She still occasionally has to close her eyes, however, after extensive spells and things of the like, because it helps her focus the energy better and lessens her forced magic output for her ability to see.

    One of the very few advantages to being blind was the fact that the magic Sága used granted her a much wider margin of vision. As such, Sága had a better time finding hidden enemies as well as troubled warriors. This was one of those times that her advantage came into play.

    She didn’t have to get right on the Faceless to attack, which was a blessing as it gave Sága the hand of surprise. Quickly opening her Tome for magic enhancement, the Dark Mage moved her free hand accordingly with the spell, bringing it down in one swift motion followed by a crash of lightning colliding down with the monster cornering the swordsmaster.

    Between the inflicted damage caused before hand mixed with the intensity of Sága’s own magic, the single hit was enough. As the Faceless fell back, colliding with the ground harshly, the Dark Mage moved. Sliding her Tome under her arm, Sága called out as she approached.

    “Ho, stranger!” she spoke clearly yet quickly, “Are you harmed?”

    “While I am not your Retainer,” Sága began slowly, trying to think her words through quite carefully before saying them out loud to the Nohrian Princess. “I think it would be wise for you to reconsider this spell- at least for the time being.” it seemed that Lydia had a rather consistent habit of attempting spells a bit too high for her level, and while Sága of all people had absolutely no room to speak, she still had a bit of room to advise for the young lady to at least present caution to the spells.

    “While I commend your enthusiasm with that Tome of yours, I highly doubt your father would be pleased if you managed to harm yourself, Milady.” of course the Mage was not about to stop the Princess from trying- genuinely she couldn’t- but she would remain near by in case the spell went wrong and needed some kind of assistance.

    “All I ask, truly, is that you take a bit more caution with that one. The spell can be a bit overwhelming.”

Characterization Headcanon#2

    Sága is the type to pine after someone rather than to go after them romantically. Due to being so caught up in studies and training, she rarely has time for anything else. With this in mind, Sága has never really learned or experienced how to engage with others on a romantic or even flirtatious level. Rather, she’ll keep it to herself and pine quietly for the ones she falls for, never even bothering to approach them for anything other than business.

    Sága also does not show her pining very bluntly, it often comes out in very subtle jealousy, protective responses, and sometimes being overly talkative to the one she’s crushing on.

    “You so get lonely!” the Dark Mage quipped with the kind of laugh that she only seemed to have around Chrysanthos. It was higher in pitch and even a tad on the loud side for some, but it was what could be considered one of the most genuine laughs Sága had.

    “Hey, I am just happy to see you have someone who makes you happy.” the Retainer mused more softly, gently pressing her knuckles to the other’s shoulder as a tender form of affection. At the mention of the balls being lame, the woman gave a snort.

    “They can be rather stuffy, eh?” Sága peered back out to the crowd, the white silhouettes moving and swaying before her. She could see the forms of dresses and coat tails, hair bobbing and even the heels of shoes meeting the floor. She smiled a bit more softly. She took a moment before pale eyes drifted back to her Prince.

    “I dunno, I personally have always enjoyed the atmosphere of balls. However, I am always locked up studying anyhow, so maybe that is just me.” she gave a soft laugh. “As for the ladies, I am afraid I cannot help you there.” Sága teased, sticking out her tongue between her teeth. “I do not think it would be appreciated if I tried to cast a spell on them.”
