"We're married." Good!Gunmar and Ascuas
Ascuas slowly looks at the smaller troll. She was laying in their shard bedfurs. “Did you forget?” She sniffs him, he smells the same. She gives him a little glare. “You sound a little surprised by that. If you’re sick, don’t come any closer. We are not repeating what happened last time you got me sick.”
Gunmar blinked for a long moment, lifting a hand to rub at his head.
"I had the strangest dream, Ascuas. I was trapped, in the Darklands, without you, and my eye...."
His hand lifted briefly to touch at his eye.
"It was on the wrong side."
She frowns at this, “Oh my love.” She nuzzles him gently, well as gently as she could. “Are you okay? Anything I can do for you?”
She hates when he has nightmares. She feels so powerless. The thought of a world where they weren’t together was even worse. “What do you mean trapped? Wait. Do you even want to talk about it?”
"I know we visit the Darklands to reinforce the prison on occasion, but in my dream, -I- was the thing we were keeping imprisoned, not the Arcane Order."
Gunmar gripped the bedfurs, glancing under them briefly as if he expected the order to be lurking there.
"It was a foolish dream." He said, "Come, let us see what breakfast the cooks have come up with."
The dragon like troll slowly got up. “Let’s get some food into that void of a belly of yours.” She says as she stretches with a little grunt.
She playfully nips his chin. “Want to race? Or you scared I’ll let you win again?” She let out a laugh. “I can carry you on my back!~”
"Ascuas, we are grown trolls. I'm not so sure we should be racing like stripling whelps----" Gunmar says a moment before shoving her down and taking off on all fours.
She laughs at this. “Ha!” She takes after him in large bounds. “To think I was going to give you a head start!” She swipes at his tail. “Get back here, you brat.”
The air is quickly filled with the couple’s laughter and playful mocking. They both felt so young again as they raced one another.
At the last second, Ascuas quickly ran right in front of the bull. Beating him fair and square. She then quickly turns around, plops down on her fluffy butt and spreads her four arms wide open. Waiting for her husband to run right into her with a big smile on her muzzle.
Gunmar saw the trap and at the last minute manager to turn a charge into a jump.
He leaped into her arms, the two of them crashing to the ground in a groaning of old joints and ancient bones, but he was laughing, laughing heartily. Once he caught his breath, he touched his forehead to hers, nuzzling her. "Oh, you have eyes enough for both of us. And they are still like Skyfire." Gunmar purred up at her.
She gives him a tight squeeze, her tail thumping the ground with delight. A deep rumble coming from her chest. The larger troll returns the affection.
“Oh you speak sweet words my love. Sweeter than any song a bird could ever sing.” Her four eyes met his single eye. She placed her upper left hand on his cheek. “You are mine, Gunmar. Mine alone. I refuse to believe there is a world where I am not at your side. I can’t breathe without you.”
"Hush, my night," His hands rise to stroke her mane, caressing her again and again. "There is no universe where we are not one. You are mine, Ascuas. In every life." Gunmar rumbled. "Come, old friend. You've worked up my appetite."
Ascuas watched him carefully. She then follows him closely. “Are you sure you are fine? I want what is the best for you.”
