bumping my dream project for super paper roblox :: demiurge down, itll be a classic rpg style setting like deltarune with its own hints of comedy/tragedy

ive got a fuckton of the lore/story and designs down already and this quick demo is something i whipped up during june-august, im also currently practicing music to make an official original soundtrack for the game so i hope you'll all enjoy it in the coming years!

if this seems interesting to you, do follow! I'll try to post small updates from time to time, as our dev time is mostly going to be during spring/summer 2026 and 2027 due to most of us being in college/having jobs. (unless yall wanna donate so we dont starve 👀jk)

and if things are polished enough, i'll try to make a publicly playable demo for the prologue-chapter 1 by around the end of summer 2026, so in the meantime please support me and my friends at Four Hoof!

sorry for being inactive on here, roblox basically shot itself like 50 times and its not even halfway into 2026 so i just gave up developing on roblox studio 💔💔

in other news heres a small life update, my final semester of community college is over and now im moving to university dorms this fall!!!!!!!!!!!!!! aka i will be extremely busy after finishing my degree and working as a clerk for firms.

i know i promised that there would be a demo by this summer, but like im 21 now and need a stable job asap so i can live independent (especially in this fuckass economy). itll take me a long while to become a lawyer (4-5 yrs from now), but in the meantime im going to be practicing development on other platforms such as unity/godot which will probably have way more freedoms than roblox did.

as for the game itself, if ur familiar with Bug Fables, its a wonderful 2.5d game just like paper mario on steam that I want to try and emulate the style of. (im debating learning how to draw in my spare time to speed up the process, if i do end up picking it up properly i'll post stuff on this acc)

and just for the future record, i want to utilize the profit i make as a lawyer to open up my own side game development/investment studio to help fund projects that deserve support.

so thank u to everyone who has been interested in this project since september, despite the life hiccups ive experienced im still dead set on working towards this games release. though the new name will likely be just "Demiurge Down" instead so it could detach from roblox (and avoid unintended copyright 👽👽)

(also Dusekkar is being renamed to just "Dusk", for both copyright avoidance and story reasons. 👽)

quick dev log

finals r done, semester over, i did p good and now im on studio until fall

im gonna be taking a quick detour to make a small social deduction game based on death note to brush up on my scripting skills again, and once thats done ill be focusing on spr till fall

i am sorry to say that it will have to be marked as 18+ restricted however due to the stupid fucking age groups update coming in a month, it'd literally be impossible to play without hearing eachother/working together. (stupid ass update just killing social games all together mfw)

the setting will be a town being targeted by eldritch patrons due to its location as a weak spot in the veil (the barrier between worlds that stops them from descending)

theres 2 main teams, and 1 side team

Cultists and Inquisitors, and a Werewolf

cultists will have to progress the veil weakening in order to allow their patron to descend and win, while the inquisitors/civilians will have to work together to reveal which one of them is actually a cultist.

Inquisitors/Cultists will have private comms to their teammate to help form plans in private away from the global chat, though the cultists comms will be picked up by NPCS they talk around and will testify its usage in an area.

while the werewolf is a once every few rounds role that appears under a full moon, which allows the player to kill one person per day. (if they kill the posessed cultist they win the round by themselves, if they end up killing the first hand inquisitor then the cultists win by default)

for now its just a quick month long game im making for winter break but its fun to try out. the map itself will be a stud build that were making together and the gui will be styled after the 2013 roblox ui (think like how SEWH does it) .

and personally i think it'll be a funny party game, thats coming from my experience in playing death note + taking into account the swearing filter being removed will be crazy in every way.

I also have a few patron ideas set up with a few unique/general abilities that they'll all be using..

like, OneOverOne (Disguise/Illusions)

and 4NG3L!!!11!! (Hypnosis/Obesssion)

though for those verifying and thinking of playing the game it'll be ready shortly hopefully.

November Update

my finals week is coming up so im very swamped with classwork rn, but as for good news im not taking a winter semester next year so I'll be able to start development again right after i finish (around week of this christmas).

with that in mind expect some teasers that week as a christmas gift :)

starting the new year things will start to pick up a lot faster development wise, so heres a little sneak peek for u to make it worth ur while.,.. (bonus points if u get the reference photo this is from, oh wait the reference is like 3 posts over from this one)

monthly update

my college classes r going good and i have some free time rn so heres some non spoilerish characters/lore

from left to right: Octavia (Conductor), ShreDDer (Redcliff Guitar), Kuu (Overseer Drums), Fitz (Korblox Vocals), and Bernie (Greywolf Saxophone)

though you might be asking: "WOWZA! whats with the smokin hot musicalicious Babe !? ?1?"

for those who were able to piece it together from her name, shes known as Octave in the new world, and this is part of what i actually meant by "180 degree personalities" in the previous question i answered.

like, literally. compare them. (hrt saved her /j)

Octave (he/him) -> Octavia (she/they)

as for the other 4, they're gonna be stray musicians located within their respective faction that you can recruit to your encampment as the story progresses. I'm personally going for a "My Castle Town" inspired song progression as you recruit more and more people.

Octavia will be the one conducting them in your camp, and they'll be there in the background playing music/keeping morale up for your growing army (in the Crusade route). They'll also be included in the audience during battles, providing your team with buffs on certain turns/special conditions.

For example: if you have 3 party members down and theres a redcliff affiliated member still alive, ShreDDer will do something cool for you to get you out of a pinch (once per encounter)

they'll have a little quest you need to complete before they decide to join you though, but until then no spoilers ! !!!11
