A few shots from the Among Us Show animatic I’ve been making for the intro of my AU!
I’ve been binge reading fanfics and fan comics about the Among Us Show, specifically ideas of the crewmates as ghosts, or other characters like Purple or Red becoming imposters, and wanted to try my hand on making an AU that I’m dubbing the Last Flight AU.
Most of the events from the show remain the same, up until Purple confronts Imposter Green unarmed. Red arrives just a bit too late and has to fend off the imposter alone, or so they think.
The ghosts of the dead learn they still have the ability to interact with their surroundings and use this ability to help Red get rid of the imposter.
Red returns to Industria, not knowing they’re being followed by their entire dead crew. To their surprise, Mira decides to send Red on one last mission before they’re fired, not as a pilot, but a security guard. They don’t publicize the deaths of the crew members, nor mention Red’s involvement.
Upon boarding, Red realizes the crew is made of a mix of other Amongi that also claim to have encountered aliens, and former friends and relatives of Red’s old crew. The crew set off towards their destination and Red begins counting down the days they have left working for Mira while trying to hide their guilt whenever some of the crew try to ask about their missing friends/family. Meanwhile the ghosts check on the new ship and crew.
Maybe this trip won’t be as bad as the last one, right?

I’m planning on just dropping a few things about the AU here and there but won’t really write a full story about it so I can focus on just having fun with it.

anyway this is the part where yellow and the other fellow ghost found out that yellow (and green) CAN absolutely protect the alive crew from getting brutally killed by the alien. (Green could have found this information sooner but they were absolutely homesick and hurt after the parasite took their body and uses their body to kill innocent crewmate). And they can use this information to protect the so alive crew👀👀👀👀.

(my writing is a bit rusty right now so I apologize, and also some character study and relationship exploration. nobody is dead and the egg didn't hatch)
the crewmate have just finally finished eating dinner as they slowly made their way back to their station to either continue their task or go to sleep. since the light is gonna turn of in 2 hours (as in like a visual of night...y know- nvm).the two cooks was cleaning up the kitchen when yellow notices that there were still some 3 pizza left over. yellow took a closer look at it and wonder, there shouldn't be any left over. brown and yellow have calculated on how many pizza each crew will get.
"so brown, which crewmate do you think hadn't eaten yet. 1,2,3"
"blue"
"purple"
they answered at the same time.
"blue is busy with paperwork"
brown stated.
"and purple is probably just rotting away in security room like usual"
and yellow added.
"well we two cooks won't let out fellow crewmate starved on their own and skip eating meals!. brown you go give this one slices of pizza to blue. while I give purple their slice and my slice. since they also skipped lunch, I can make something simple for me later. purple is quite hard to deal with."
brown just nodded as they both took a plate and gentle put the pizza. blue is getting one slices like everyone else does. while purple got two because they skipped both lunch and dinner. which is a big no for yellow. brown had eaten their pizza earlier, and yellow can always make something for themselves anyway to they dont mind giving their slice for purple.
brown than stopped at the medley entrance while yellow continue to make their way to security. yellow wonder, what's up with purple. they also seen to avoid interacting much, always being in security room and avoiding captain red as best as they can. yellow notices that for a while and they knew that somethings up with them.
after a few moment later, yellow finally made it to the security room where the door is locked shut. yellow then knocked on the door and start calling purple out.
"hey purple?, you alive in there or something"
yellow could hear the gasp inside the security room. guessing they might have dozes off while watching cameras, seriously did purple even have a good sleep schedule yellow thought to themselves.
"whos there? and what do you want"
purple answered, sounded like they're still somewhat half asleep.
"its the cook yellow here, and im here to bring you pizza that you skipped...twice today"
a silent groaned could be heard inside security as the door opened. and wow, purple was definitely not on a good conditions. like literally visible eye bag can be seen from yellow view.
"have been rotting away again in security than eating the pizza for lunch and dinner..hm?"
yellow asked as they glare at purple while holding plates with pizza on it.
"im just doing my job as a security guard"
purple answered with a bit of defensiveness in their voice.
"well that isn't a damn excuse to skip lunch and dinner. so here take your pizza. I know you rather eat it here alone rather than eat it in cafeteria"
yellow hand out the pizza at purple. purple kept quiet and didn't say another word as they took the pizza. purple notices it that they got two pizzas instead of the usual one.
"why'd you give me two pizza?. dont usually each crewmate get one pizza"
purple asked. confused.
"I gave you my slices because you skipped lunch too"
"what?. so you gave me your slice to me...then what are you gonna eat for dinner?. your just gonna skip dinner?. what happened to no skipping any mea-"
"purple im one of the cooks here, I can make pizza and any food whenever I want to. so that's the least of your problems right now and instead you should focus on taking care of yourself"
yellow glared at purple. purple look a bit surprised and a bit offended.it took a moment for them to say something.
"why would you care anyway?"
"because me and brown are the cooks in here, our moral (and job)is to take care and help crewmate on the Skeld and also to give you guys meals so you guys aren't starved and malnourished "
purple didnt say a word as if they have no idea on what to say about it.yellow just sigh as they put their hand on their hips.
"look, we can tell that you're avoiding interacting crewmate and red hence why you skip meals. but ya know you can just ask us for a pizza or meals to give you right? and then you can just eat it in security alone..in peace."
"wait why did you include red in"
"ya think it isn't clear that you two got something going between the two of you"
"wah-woah really it was that clear?....huh..."
purple scratch the back of their next in slight embarrassment.
"and dont worry, I won't make rumor about you two. brown made me realize that whatever is going on between you guys might be personal"
"uh..thanks for not starting a rumor between me and them"
"you should be thanking brown, they made me realize it"
the two didn't say a word for a moment and things started to get a little bit to AWKWARD. yellow let out a cough to get purple attention.
"anyhow, I know ya dont like interacting with the other (and red). but if you dont mind just come up to me and brown so we can give ya your meal and eat it in security alone."
"I guess I can do that"
purple answered hesitantly. which satisfy yellow enough.
"good, promise me will ya. capisce?"
"capisce"
purple repeated as yellow left and making their way back to the kitchen to see brown already cleaning half the kitchen up.
"took you awhile"
brown questioned.
"took a while for purple to agree to come up to us to eat before eating it alone in security. but I did it"
"nice"
brown added. yellow then started cleaning up too with brown in the kitchen. taking the broom and sweeping the floor. as they both clean the whole kitchen talking to each other and playing their game (the one where yellow ask a question out and they both try to answer it at the same time).

oh and yellow ended up forgetting to eat dinner. but that's okay cuz in the morning brown told them to eat more than usual because of that.

Oh yeah and about my headcanon. Scriptliss is pansexual while Tess is gay tho he never really knew about it cuz he never thought about it from how focus and busy he is on studying othing thing than learning about himself. Anyway
