this is a side blog where I rarely post sketches and wips, sometimes reblog stuff. Since I want to repurpose this blog for asks too, before you ask: For art I use drawpile and photoshop, for 3d blender.

probably gonna be hospitalized soon so I have no fear anymore and can show you my s.t.a.l.k.e.r. oc... which is basically an au I guess. I love this game series so much, it stayed with me since my childhood and I always come back to it :) You know that thing when artists have a "main" oc that they just put into different games and stuff? for me it's Imri, so I just put him into stalker and fallout universes lately because I was replaying them. In fallout he confuses the think tank in old world blues with his autistic nature lol. Still nothing is worse than his original story (which tells a lot I guess)

Not much people here knows the stalker lore but! hopefully this will make sense out of context too. Or I will sound crazy idk Imri (hereinafter “Eighth” which was the number scientists gave him. He still has his name but it's used only by a couple of people) is a half-mutant half-human experiment, which, unlike Faust, (SPOILER mutant who completely retained his human appearance) went kinda badly and they got 8 instead. He's half Izlom (or Fracture, we're talking about cut mutant) so his mutated hand is the main thing that gives him away, he usually hides it under the coat. He's a bit feral (in every sense, basically, just like his original lore lol) and has some of this mutant abilities, while still staying a glass canon (you can just immobilize pseudolimb and he becomes completely useless). Doesn't know how to act human and doesn't communicate with them much too (besides Doctor, who saved him and doesn't mind 8's situation) because they probably would shoot him on sight. So he just stays with Doctor isolated and lives his best life now. We don't talk about the main quest line is stalker 2. It doesn't exist. Doctor is fine

Scientists at the start just threw him out of the lab (well, Korshunov did that) because they had bigger problems like Kaymanov dooming the world. Before Doctor found him, 8 was completely clueless about how to even live this damn life, they didn't teach you basic life lessons back in that lab huh

Would it help your desire to do art if it wasn't a job? I know for me the second art becomes a task i start to lose the passion and joy i had in it

Maybe... but usually I do enjoy drawing commissions and people are always kind and can understand me being slow these times. I think it's just mainly my meds-resistant depression and me being tired from this whole psychiatry thing. It just seeps into my whole life, including drawing, and I just don't want to do anything

I'm dying because my wisdom tooth decided to cause problems and I got a really bad infection and dehydration and high temperature in the middle of the night and all I can do right now is take some ibuprofen.

I'm scared and I wanna to shitpost so uh. Wanna look at my mosaic I made in January? Not sure how to call it in English but it's Rome-something... Mine is actually kinda not-well made but I still hanged it on the wall

Mewgenics/tboi/timefcuk and even the end is nigh hide some complex themes if you can dig through the peepee poopoo jokes and literal hitlers...

I put every media that I consume through myself (like, I REALLY do that, if I like it, searching for the smallest details) and for me there's always religion and death and loss and grief and regrets. Probably every fanart I do is a way to share my view on them and I need to do that somehow.

funnily enough my partner who actually got me into tboi years ago is the person on a "it's not that deep" side lol

I JUST MADE SOME BUuuuuhhhh linocuts. At least it's Imri so I don't feel so bad. The worst part about linocuts though? It's the paint. We had printing ink at home specifically for linocuts and man, that thing is hard to wash away. Any paint is, probably, but this one is oil-based so it just sticks like insane.

Finishing something kinda makes me feel better but I still can't get a grip for some reason. I feel like I just lost my skills? Forgot how to draw? Literally regressed?? it's a combo Brain I don't need this I need to draw. I think I'm going insane (and I repeat this a lot)
