Ash wanted to say something when Fletcher didn’t talk, but he waited. Because he didn’t know what to say, and Fletcher was the one that was avoiding him anyway. But then Fletcher started talking, and he kept quiet, listening as his mind raced with the information that Ash was giving him.
“I like kissing you too,” Ash admitted once Fletcher had stopped his rambling. He moved to sit down next to Fletcher and his bed, leaning against him slightly. “It’s... different than when I was with Quinn. Easier, better...,” he replied with a small smile. But he was confused about this too. Was it just easier because he was already so close with Fletcher?
“I don’t... I can’t help you decide who you are,” he mumbled softly. Ash ignored the part about Daphne and the pang of jealousy he felt in his chest. “You have to do that you think is best for you,” Ash mumbled, biting his lower lip and scratching the back of his head.
“But... er... I missed you this week,” he admitted, shifting slightly and looking at Fletcher. “And... um. I liked kissing you,” which he had said already and was internally berrating himself for. “So maybe we can sort of... see what happens?”
