Anya from Mouthwashing needs better propaganda cause people need to understand the hoops fandom will jump through to misinterpret her.

I have seen fans call her weak, annoying, useless and a horrible nurse while completely disregarding the fact that in those interactions we are watching a woman deal with her increasingly volatile abuser. She is trying to survive a horrible situation, and has learned to talk softly and be a doormat to protect herself because no one else protected her. She is empathetic and doesn’t want to take Curly’s agency away from him even more than it has been, and people look at that and call her WEAK. FUCK OFF!!

We are literally seeing her through the eyes of the worst person in the game and fans take his perception as fact! I worry for the art of critical thinking.
