"Ok, so how do we get in?" Arina asked as she made her way silently next to Lilith, her crutch-staff not making any sound thanks to the charm Eoloran imbued into it. The druidess could now move relatively swiftly compared to her situation, but it was at best equivalent to a faster walking speed. "You said the ritual was at the lover levels. I was there only once, when the Lady created my glass eye, but I don't know the way since I was blind at the time... and you were here for longer."
Lilith sat in the gazebo on the Manor grounds, looking towards the main house. âI think, all we need to do is wait. Canât you feel it? It is like this place has been eagerly waiting for us to return.â
She looked up at Arina, standing still, next to her, staring at the house, âand that Love is what scares the life out of me. The Lady would oft go on about how much magic and power had been laid upon the Manor, itâs grounds, and the Ghosts that reside within. I always presumed though, that it was her thoughts that guided it,â she paused and shook her head, eye closed in thought, âbut now, I feel as if it has taken on a new level of thought.âOpening her eye, she stared at the house, and the solitary dark figure that had stepped from the doors and made itâs dark way towards them, hands held at his sides, palms out. Lilith knew better than to trust that Theros wasnât armed, just because she couldnât see his sword.
âI donât know if the House will let us goâŠâ
âThe only thing I feel is making my skin crawl. I always thought the Manor was a bit creepy, but never to this extent before.â The druidess huffed, eye narrowed as Lilith described what she thought. âIf the place is truly as sentinent as you say, then better be quick about this. I have no wish to be trapped in there with those ghosts... at least this time I am prepared for them too.â Arina smiled savagely, this was something she held back, an ace up her sleeve should things go so far.
âTheros... never liked him much.â The kaldorei hobbled forward to shield Lilith before stopping, balancing only on her good leg, she took up a combat pose in case the bastard tried to attack. âHmph, all those extra effort Granfather made me do to fight one-legged may very well work out here.â The druid twisted once on the staff-crutch, but apparently nothing happened.
âThere is no way in fel we will let it decide for us.â AshâArina hissed, raising her âweaponâ higher as Theros almost reached her striking distance. âOne more step and you will regret it, got it?!â She growled, the symbols carved into the crutch-staff vibrating slightly. âNow, out with it, what do you and the rest want from us?!â
