stella is latin for star, latin is part of the italic languages which is part of the larger indo-european language family and that has another branch called the hellenic languages where greek is

speaking of the greeks, in greek mythology there were seven sisters who were companions to artemis called the pleiades, their names were maia, electra, taygete, alcyone, celaeno, sterope and merope

pleiades is also the name for.... one of the closest star clusters to earth that can be seen with the naked eye and that contains young stars!

all that to say i think maia could be a nice name for her maybe perhaps possibly potentially
