" Ah, so that's why she looks nervous... "

Emilia thought to herself, she understood things like that happen, even if her instincts tell her to not give her nothing because she may be lying...

" It's on the house. "

She was more soft to Umamusume than her regular clients.

" You need a lot of carbs for training. "

An easy conclusion to have, Oguri was all sweaty and still wearing her uniform. And before she could object Emilia went out of her way to serve her a glass of cold water.

" Water is free too. "

"...Eh," was all Oguri could say at first. It was on the house...? If she recalled correctly, that was usually a saying used to entail free food. Naturally, it was hard to complain about this, but she hadn't expected such generosity. And before she could consider interjecting, Emilia had placed down a glass of water for her too. "Ah..." She murmured, taking a few seconds to process everything, before her eyes began to grow a tad misty.

"Thank you so much, kind stranger...!" With a deep bow and heartfelt thanks to show her gratitude, she took a moment to wipe her eyes, sit down, and begin to eat. Such kindness...! She would make sure to remember this and try to repay the favor another time.

Emilia was cleaning some dishes, it was a very slow day to her at least until some of the regulars started to come by.

" What- "

Well, she could hear Oguri's belly before she even said something. Disappearing into the kitchen.

After a few minutes, she came back. Placing a plate of fried tempura shrimp and some rice to the Uma.

" Here. "

Emilia pulled out a small rag, cleaning up the counter top next to Oguri.

Though she'd entered the establishment in hopes of at least getting some water to remain hydrated, the insistent growling of her stomach did a rather good job at establishing the real problem plaguing her. Seeing the employee at the counter almost immediately retreat into the kitchen upon hearing her restless stomach caused Oguri's face to flush red as she awkwardly tried to stammer out something. Before she could even think about what she wanted to say, though, the girl was gone and Oguri was left to stew in her embarrassment for a few minutes.

To her surprise, what greeted her once the girl returned was a rather delicious looking plate of food. She blinked a few times, clearly taken aback, before looking up at her.

"I-Is this all right...??? I don't have my wallet on me, so I wouldn't be able to pay..." She awkwardly tried to explain, hands clumsily flailing about in a panic.

"Ardan," Oguri called out, a notable hint of cheerfulness in her steps as she approached her friend. "A fan sent me a gift the other day. There was also some tea and snacks in it, and I remembered that you like tea. I don't know a lot about tea flavors, but I figured you'd like to have some." She explained while the end of her tail swished jubilantly swished back and forth.

It had been, admittedly, a bit of a challenge for her not to immediately consume all the snacks she had been gifted. There was no denying that Oguri Cap could be quite the gluttonous individual. Still, if there was something she loved just as much as she loved food, it would be her friends. And the idea of sharing food with friends was, perhaps, the ultimate form of bonding that she could think of. So when she saw the tea that had come with the snacks, she knew that she had to share some with the Mejiro.

[OOC] At one point, I'd like to establish some AUs for Ogurin. Persona is one series I have an interest in and has a plethora of fun characters that would be both interesting and amusing to see how she bounces off of, so that'll likely be on the list of things to contemplate. Naturally, she is always going to remain an Umamusume in biology no matter the AU, but don't worry about how that works. Simply don't question it, obviously.

[OOC] One of my personal favorite things to do is put my muses in silly situations. Thankfully, this is very easy when your muse is a rather silly air-head.

One Oguri Cap had found herself in a bit of a troublesome situation — she was lost (again). After deciding today would be a good day to go for a longer run than normal, in her infinite wisdom, she had decided to try extending the run a little near the end by going off her usual path. She didn't think it would be an issue, all things considered. She was feeling great today, so running for a bit longer wouldn't hurt. But alas, this was the result of her hubris in thinking she could remember the path she took when she decided to head back to Tracen.

Now, the ashen-haired Umamusume sat crouched down by a bar not too far from a stadium that caught her eye while running. Though she felt good when starting her run, her air-headed nature had come to bit her in the rear. She had forgotten her wallet. And not only that, she only had breakfast a few hours ago. Now would have been time for brunch, and she was certainly feeling her body desperately calling out for sustenance.

Today's lunch break posed a bit of a conundrum for the ashen-haired dreamer. She had managed to procure her lunch without issue, but before she could begin to refuel on her sustenance, she had realized that many of the tables had filled up with plenty of other hungry Umamusume. Understandable, it was important to eat well and it was also a very good time to socialize. Still, while she had no issues with eating outside, it would be much easier for her if she could find a table, especially given the amount of food she carried with her. Luckily enough, though, she happened to spot one table with about half of it having enough space that she could fit her plates without too much issue. It also seemed like the occupant of the other half had quite an appetite, too. In that case, there was but one thing to do.

"Excuse me. Would it be all right if I sat here?" Oguri politely asked, poking her head out from behind the almost literal mountain of fried rice she was carrying.

[OOC] So I may not have a lot of followers at the moment, but I'd still like to kick-start some activity to get the ball rolling. Like this post for a starter with everyone's favorite black hole of gluttony. Multi-muses (which is most of the blogs following me, as of now), make sure to specify a muse or a few muses for me to pick.

" Oguri-Saaaaaaaan! If it's okay, do ya wanna join me for some trainin', today? Suzuka and everyone else is busy, and I wanna see what I can do to improve my performance in shorter races. I also cooked up a bunch of Onigiri for snacks, in between laps! "

"Oh, Spe." Upon hearing the familiar and friendly voice calling out to her, the ashen-haired Umamusume looks up with a smile after slipping on her personal running shoes. "Sure," she replied with a nod, "onigiri sounds great." And, naturally, she was also plenty open to the idea of getting in some more practice with someone else, especially someone as hard-working and talented as Special Week. Her words simply honed in on the food aspect of the proposition, perhaps to the surprise of no one at all.

Staring intently at the map app of her phone, one Oguri Cap found herself in a predicament...

She hadn't the slightest clue where she was at the time. While she was informed how to open this app by her friend, Tama, she still had yet to quite grasp how to use and read such a thing. Phones were such fiddly devices to her. It would also appear she had forgotten to charge it recently, though she was rather oblivious to this fact.

Just where in the world was she, she pondered. And worst of all, lunch was soon, too. She couldn't afford to miss lunch.

[OOC] How do people get traction going on this site? I'm not expecting an immediate boom in activity and interactions, especially since I'm a new blog, but I am wondering how I can create some momentum besides simply following as many blogs as I can.
