i often get rebound sickness after staying in my hometown and then escaping to a different home; i was there for 2 months. and i feel absolutely brutalized. i am So sick.

(my friend is hanging on to one of my dolls bc i thrifted her while touring apartments)

rocky's favorites while pebble:

- human rattle. 8/10. good shaking noise. lots of fun when grace hides somewhere on the hail mary and shakes it for rocky to find. dont tell grace that rocky knows where he is the whole time.

- grace singing. 11/10. rocky has heard lots of human music. grace is very very imperfect but is also rocky's person. sometimes grace tries eridian music, which is mostly just funny.

- human plush toy. 7/10. rocky doesnt really Get It but it's clearly important to grace.

- grace reading out loud. 10/10. rocky likes human science textbooks a lot but has really come around on kid-oriented mystery books. nancy drew is his favorite

- call and response tapping. 9/10. very important game for pebble development. grace is about as advanced as a pebble so they're even.

- dress up. 7/10. most human clothes don't make enough noise. but grace finds it funny to draw things on rocky's ball or make him a paper hat. grace laughing = good good good sound.

Regressor Adrian curling into themself when they get shy and Rocky coos at them. They look so adorable! Their big ol' claws tapping nervously and rubbing against eachother before they softly ask a question.

Adrian mostly regresses from separation anxiety and mourning. If they EVER are small and Rocky accidently leaves them, even for a moment, they get so so sad. It was so hard when Rocky left them. The nest was so cold and empty. They had to do all their regressor sessions on their own and they HATED IT.

The first time lil Adri meets Grace they are NOT calm and collected. They are huffy and reluctant and just want to go home.

But as soon as Grace starts talking to them and offers to show some experiments...they soon forget that they are supposed to be upset at rocky's new favorite thing (They think it isnt them anymore).

Grace and Adrian do a bunch of chemical experiments and Adrian is cooing and trilling softly in excitement.

When Grace is little he presses his face against Rocky's ball and asks for kisses. Of course Rocky cant kiss him, so instead he taps a three point circle on where ever Grace asks him too. Its an Eridan sign of affection:)

I read your pinned post and am aware that live action shows have less of a chance of being drawn but I figured I’d give it a shot, of course feel absolutely free to decline!! I’d love to see agere art of Ryland Grace from Project Hail Mary, especially with a fox plushie since he has fox symbolism! He’s so lil guy coded it’s crazy

honestly even if I fully banned live action stuff I’d still draw grace because that movie is so so good... I also love how every age regressor immediately clocked grace. they sent a baby to space.

thank you for adding the bit about burnout! It can be easy to lose yourself when you’re making work for other people, so I’ve been trying to be conscious of when I need to take a break from asks and draw for myself :) I really appreciate you caring!
