Yandere Caregiver Headcanons: Thomas Wayne (Flashpoint Batman)

Starting this off Thomas Wayne's Batman is one of the most dangerous versions there is. Not because he's a bad guy, no, he just processed grief worse than Bruce (not that you can blame him) and won't hesitate to murder or maim a man/woman.

It's pretty obvious why he's a yandere. He lost his whole family, and despite not wanting to admit it he found someone new to fill in all those broken pieces. He found you. He can't just let you go now. What if you get hurt? What if you end up dead just like Bruce? He can't let that happen.

The first option is that you don't actually regress when you first meet/are kidnapped by him. In this scenario he'll decide the age he'll treat you as. In most cases he'll treat you like you're around the ages of 4 to 8 years old, never letting you act like anything older. If you are particularly cuddly, or sweet, or innocent looking, or this or that, he'll treat you around the ages of 0 to 3 years old. Yes, yes, you're an adult he gets that, but in the grand scheme of things you're really just a child playing pretend; at least to him you are.

The second option is that you already regress before you meet/are kidnapped by him. In this scenario he'll treat you like whatever little age you are; both in and out of regression. He often gets angry when you fight off your regression and has purposefully stressed you out conveniently just to make you go into little space.

The man is nothing but rugged anger and fury, but for you, it seems, he lets down his guard and allows calm, tranquility back in. Your presence even encouraged him to clean up the dilapidated manor because you kept getting hurt on things.

Thomas is still a doctor, so sadly, if you push him too far he isn't afraid of using those skills to make sure you're dependent on him permanently. Severing your Achilles tendon or completely paralyzing you are both options he isn't afraid of. Luckily he has more patience with you than he does most individuals, so it takes you doing quite a bit of fighting and escaping for him to actually commit these acts towards you.

Speaking of him being a doctor he'll dose you up regularly to help keep you calm if you fight too much, but are only really causing the both of you stress. Normally he'll try and soothe you from a panic attack, but he has and will sedate you to "help" you calm down.

There are certain activities Thomas refuses to do with you. Things that remind him too much of what he's lost, and though he's trying to rebuild with you, some things hurt too much to relive with you. For example, Thomas won't play catch in the yard, read "The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes", or watch The Mark of Zorro with you.

The man is at his softest when you're happy or sleepy. No matter the age you regress to, he'll cuddle you up in your big bed and rock or read you to sleep. He often has a soft smile on his face when/if you babble.

He's incredibly gentle with you. Yes, he's gruff and stand-offish most of the time, but unless he's having to restrain you he's only touching you with a feather soft hand. He sees you as almost a porcelain doll in the way he thinks he might cause you to shatter. Thomas is so desperate to play the role of father again that he does everything in his power to come across as nothing but a loving man in your eyes; too bad he kidnapped you, and that kinda ruins peoples image.

Thomas' favorite thing to do with you is play doctor. No, not him being the doctor. He loves when you excitedly try to "patch him up" with your plastic stethoscope in hand. He thinks it's the cutest, most sweetest thing. He also really loves reading books to you; letting you question the story or babble nonsensically about it. Secretly he stashes any doodles or scribbled on paper in a drawer in his bedroom. He's been caught watching you color and doodle on multiple occasions. This usually leads to him on the floor doodling with you.

This man is incredibly broken. Every once in a while you'll wake up buried in his large arms and pulled flushed against his chest while he silently cries. You have no idea how often it happens without you waking up, but anytime you do he apologizes softly for waking you while kissing your head.

Thomas is surprisingly good with a bratty little. He stays firm and often breaks down the walls to see what the brattiness is hiding. Of course he has his limits, of course, and you'll be spanked if you do too much.

Any version of Batman is possessive and overprotective, but Thomas Wayne is a whole other beast. He loves you deeply, obsessively, destructively. Any version of Batman is borderline impossible to escape, but Thomas Wayne is much worse. He loves you in the most primal paternal way. There is no getting away from this so the best thing to do is sit back and let your Papa take care of you.

Good with all ages, but especially the younger kids

He is so excited to be a caretaker. So so excited. He gets empty nest syndrome so easily and now one of his kids is his baby again and he is so happy

Lots of bat-themed stuff for you lol

Will get you onesies that say stuff like 'I think my dad is Batman'

He loves doing the Batman Growl to get you to giggle

'hey I gotta tell you something' 'I'm Batman!' and he does the vampire hands

Basically does impressions of himself for your amusement lol

You are his baby bat. In fact the way he informs others that he has to go bc you regressed while at least one of you was on patrol is 'baby bat protocol'.

Will tell you dramatic (and embellished to be sillier) retellings of his various cases

He has kids games on the batcomputer (abcya, coolmath, purble place, and whatever else you want, he'll get it somehow)

Has straight up bought companies bc they stopped producing food you like when little

Swaddles you in his cape. Baby wearing.

Despite the general vibe of Gotham and y'know, being Batman's kid, he tries to get you toys with brighter colors whenever possible. He wants to give you a little bit of light in a city as dark as this.

Will give you piggy back rides on patrol and run across the rooftops making robot noises like you're in a sci-fi movie

He LOVES playing with you. He loves just,, getting to be a dad. Especially if you're on the younger side, he misses his kids being this young, he's so happy to be able to do this with you.

And incredibly touched that you trust him with it.

Lets you listen to his emo music in the car <3 and dad rock, I know in my heart Bruce listens to dad rock

You have your own little bed and probably a playroom but tbh,, he mostly puts you down to sleep in his LOL

Part of this is that he's paranoid as hell and feels safer if you're in his space

The other part is that he thinks you look adorable cuddled up in his blankets

Bedtime stories!! I've brought up bedtime stories in all of these but I think it's important information.

Bruce will usually read longer fantasy books a few chapters at a time. Chronicles of Narnia, that kind of thing. (Though he usually doesn't read the last book until you're big again, since he knows it can be upsetting.)

Takes you with him when he walks Ace. You are going to the dog park together.

Like I said you have so much Batman stuff lmao, he just thinks it's funny especially when you go out with it while he's Not Batman

Like if he takes you to a gala with him while you're regressed

It's just hilarious to him

He makes so many jokes

BUT you also get lots of merch of whatever other heroes you love

If the merch you want doesn't exist, Wayne Enterprises will mysteriously collaborate with the hero to make it

No matter how specific

Pillow fights! In the morning! He doesn't mind being woken up early if it's to play with you.

Gets distracted during board meetings thinking about you... Why does he have to be doing boring company bs when he could be home playing with his BABY

Also absolutely uses you as an excuse to get out of said board meetings

'nope sorry I can't come babysitter fell through' *hangs up*

Person on the other line: ... He has a new kid? Wait, doesn't he have a butler???

Likes brushing your hair in the morning

Watches the cartoons he liked as a kid with you

Also watches Scooby Doo LMAO and loves it

Will let you ride in the cart at the grocery store <3

Fully dedicated to just constantly existing in your vicinity while you're regressed so he can always be there if you want/need him

Especially if you're a trauma regressor and/or regress bc you feel like there's things you missed out on as a kid, he is working so so hard to make sure you get those experiences now

He wants to give you the perfect childhood

Extremely protective, does not play about you, he doesn't play about any of his kids but most of them he trusts to handle themselves

Like. If a rogue threatens Nightwing he'll be mad but kind of roll his eyes because it's Nightwing and Dick can beat this asshole with his arms tied behind his back

But if they threaten you? He won't kill em but he'll make them wish he did

Always down for cuddles, no matter where or when, he'll carry you whenever too

Doesn't matter if he's in the middle of an investigation or an important meeting he will cuddle with you

You're his baby

Not the best at verbal comfort but gives really good hugs

He'll buy you anything you ask for, very Alfred saying Bruce practically worships Dick in the early years here

Hannigrams as your caregivers headcanons:

– Hannibal and Will would have completely different views when it comes to caring for their little because of Hannibal’s belief in strict discipline and Will’s habit of living in complete uncontrollable chaos.

– So while Hannibal would take a more nurturing role, enforcing rules and schedules and caring for their little’s well-being, Will would take the role of an emotionally supportive figure who knows what it’s like to be too small for a big amount of emotions and feelings.

– Hannibal most likely would prefer to be called „father” over anything else, while Will wouldn’t have any specific preferences for how you would call him.

– Hannibal isn’t a big fan of giving you nicknames except calling you „child”, but Will would use them constantly, calling you pet names such as „kiddo, kid, baby”.

– Both Hannibal and Will know how to help you regulate your emotions, but their strategies are very different.

– Hannibal would calm your tantrums by using his soft voice and reassuring words, finding out what you need exactly in the moment, and giving it to you if that’s possible. He will definitely talk with you about what caused your big feelings once you’re calm.

– Unlike Hannibal, Will doesn’t know enough professional calming strategies, but he clearly has enough empathy to put himself in your place and calm you down with what he thinks you might need in the moment.

– Hannibal would prepare every meal for you, making sure that it’s full of nutrients and all the vitamins that you need, while Will wouldn’t mind eating fast food with you as long as you promise not to tell Hannibal.

– Will would adore every moment that you spend with his beloved dogs, and Hannibal would have to accept them as part of the family.

– Hannibal would spoil you with a lot of toys, making sure that they are safe and meaningful for you, while Will would be buying you anything, including toys that you will forget about on the very next day.

– Will would take you fishing with him, knowing that it means getting about a hundred calls from Hannibal asking about your well-being.

– Hannibal would teach you words in his mother tongue nearly every day, so you would surprise Will with a freshly learned phrase that he couldn’t even understand himself.

– Hannibal wouldn’t be too much into physical touch, so usually all the hugging and cuddling would go to Will, which he wouldn’t mind at all.

– However, Hannibal is a control freak, so holding his hand in a public places is absolutely nonnegotiable.

– Both Hannibal and Will have an unspoken rule for not bringing up their past in front of you, so you wouldn’t view either of them differently.
