Ever since Asher started college, it seemed like all he ever did was study and sleep; he never had any time to let loose, which was starting to make him feel terrible. Looking at him now, you'd never have guessed it, but there was a time when he actually had a reputation for being a hardcore partier. After high school, life hit him pretty hard and it seemed like everything got so much more serious than he'd expected. When Alessandra suggested that he came tagging with her, he accepted the offer almost instantly. It was pretty much exactly the kind of excitement he needed in his dull life.

He did what she had told him to do; change into something he didn't mind getting dirty, so he settled for an old pair of jeans and a black t-shirt. As he walked towards her apartment building, he couldn't help but wonder what the night had in store for him. He sent her a text to let her know he was outside and then he sat on the curb, waiting.
