Been thinking of doing a replay of Path To Radiance and just talking about how I feel playing it again as an adult as opposed to a child. My only fear is that Ike won't be my favorite Lord anymore (Unlikely, but still filled with fear).

Also, I feel like I need to unpack this before anyone decides to ask but I don't ship IkeSoren and I am very vocal about it. And it'a not for the reasons you might think or accuse me of - No, I don't think Ike is straight, nor do I really ship him with women all that often. I think Elincia and my Kiran are the only two that comes to mind.

But it ultimately comes from my frustration with Soren as a character, how I feel like Ike gets reduced to simply Soren's boyfriend, and the fact that Stefan and Soren had a much more compelling dynamic. All things I will eventually type up, but I felt the need to do a small TLDR about my IkeSoren feelings before someone pops up.

Also have been thinking of making a few posts about a few of my FE related hot takes, especially my Soren take. I think Soren is a great character and has very good aspects to him, where I can see the appeal... But I heavily dislike him and the IkeSoren ship as a whole.

Which, I know, is an extremely unpopular opinion, but I also think people don't talk about disliking a character you think is well written enough. Because you can really like the writing and enjoy the characterization and still come out not liking the character.

Been thinking a lot about Sharena and how I kind of really hate that we even have the question of who is the real Sharena still. I get that it ultimately doesn't matter, but I wish we had not even opened that can of worms and left it as Sharena and Peony just played together in their dreams. We would still have the connection, and make it sapphic, but not to the disservice to Sharena.
