While taking you back to the inn Dangari was beyond pissed not only had that other clan passed onto his territory they tried to take you as well. Huffing and snarling Dangari needed to take his mind off of what happened. You happened to be the perfect distraction.

Your frail form shaking on his back from the adrenaline and the cold you wanted to see Jaxx and Anaya for comfort. Not Dangari, not the man you fucked over, not the man you screwed up with. You have to tell him. Clearing your voice from any shakiness you spoke softly. “Dangari... I wanted to apologize... for everything.. for how I treated you.. how I spoke to you how... how I ruined your life.. I’m so sorry and I know... words won’t ever make you forgive me let alone express how sorry I truly am. I’m just I’m so sorry... I didn’t know this was your inn I wouldn’t have come if I knew.. I’m so sorry I’m sorry I’m sorry.” Breaking down into a mess of whimpers and apologies you couldn’t keep it together any more. You had to tell him. He needed to know.

While you spoke his heart broke, you were never the type to cry and apologize. You were so stubborn and prideful it was cute but now you’re just a mess and it hurt. Stopping for a moment so small you couldn’t notice but with his heart hurting so much he knew he had to do something. Taking you to the inn he shifted back to his human form covered in scars and bites. Everyone passed out on one of the couches in a big cuddle puddle. Tried from waiting for you two to come home Dangari took the chance to give you a soft yet safe hug.

Wiping your tears and holding you close Dangari brought back a feeling you hadn’t had in so long. Safety and protection, sure Jaxx and Anaya made you feel safe but not the type of safe Dangari brought you. Taking you in his arms Dangari took you off to bed. Tucking you in all. “We’ll talk tomorrow okay..” his voice soft and caring, a soft kiss to the forehead and he was gone.

The next morning you woke sore and your leg rather bruised. Limping your way downstairs you heard the argument, the screaming, the shouting, you heard it all. Olian and Dangari back and fourth they were arguing about you, you knew it. Letting out a small sigh you made your way to the kitchen, getting a small plate of food not acknowledging the men you went out to the porch where a carriage was being pulled up.

Out stepped a strapping man, his hooves polished and his hair freshly braided. His stature was prideful and powerful and you knew exactly who he was. Stepping out beside you stood Dangari chest puffed and his tail bristled. The wolf vs the horse a scene you had seen before and it was not pretty. “Ah my dear... there you are. You thought you could go and hide from me? Tsk tsk now go pack your things we’re leaving” The centaur spoke carefully and gracefully each word hitting your brain like he had done before. Setting your plate down you left to get your things.

You weren’t even together anymore Jaxx made it very clear you wanted nothing to do with him after they found out he had been abusing you. Yet here he is, how did he find you? Why is he here? What does he really want?

“I’m sorry sir but this inn is private and you can’t be here. And you most certainly cannot tell my guest of honour to pack their shit and leave with you. Get your pompous ass back in that carriage and leave before I have you for breakfast.” You could hear Dangari speaking through your window and you stood there stunned. Guest of honour? No it must’ve been some tale to get rid of Ceallien,

“Oh please little wolf. Threatening me? Don’t you have better things to do. Like role around in mud and get fleas? “ Rolling his eyes Ceallien scoffed when he saw you come back but without your bag. “Darling where are your things. I told you to pack up and we’re leaving.”

With Dangari by your side you had the courage to do something you should’ve a long time ago. “No.” Taking a moment and calming your nerves you spoke again. “No. I will not be leaving with you. I have made it very clear I want nothing to do with you after what you did to me. Why are you back? What do you want from me? I have moved villages for fucks sake to get away from you and what happens you move. You follow me and you haunt me, I want nothing to do with you. When my trip is done I’m going to the king about you. “ shaking from not only anger Dangari softly placed his hand on your shoulder giving you a soft squeeze.

“That won’t be necessary brat,” Olian stepped out beside you a sinister smirk on his lips as he pulled out a document. “On behalf of the king, I now declare that Mr. Ceallian is here by banished from this land and if he comes in contact with you again the punishment is execution. “ scribbling down a few details Olian rolled the papers together and sealed them off with the kings marking. Not even a moment later the documents disappeared. “Now get off this property before I make your life more difficult than I already have. “

Scampering off back into the carriage Ceallian left faster than you could say go. “Do you really have the power to do that?? I thought only the king could do such a thing?? “ Olian snickered at your idiocy

“I’m the prince I can do as I please bet you weren’t expecting that now were you? I’m the reason this place is closed off to the public. “ You stood there jaw open and dumbfounded not knowing if you should bow or if you should apologize. “I still dislike you but I suppose if Dangari has such feelings I must step back. “

“What... huh??? You’re the prince Dangari feelings? I’m.. I’m so confused??? “ Olian rolled his eyes and mumbled idiot under his breath as he left you and Dangari alone.

“Last night when you had apologized to me I.. I realized what I felt wasnt hatred or anger it was longing. Longing to have you back. And I know this is very fast and very crazy moment right now but please stay longer so we can work this out.. I.. I miss you. “ Your heart stopped he still liked you ??? After all this time after everything you done??? Jumping up to hug him you cried ,

“Yes I’ll stay we have so much we need to talk about and I need to apologize for. “ Dangari smiled as he hugged you closer.

From inside the kitchen Olian and Anaya smiled together as they high fived both enjoying a cup of tea. It seems their plan has worked and they can all return back home now. Letting you and Dangari work things out and leading into you two being the happy couple you were once more.

After everyone settled down the tension in the air was thick. A hoard of Orcs could sneak through and no one would notice. The teifling you’ve come to learn is Olian a member of the royal court, he also hates your guts. Understandable but maybe if he heard your side of the story he’d hate you a little less. Then again would he? No probably not. It’s best to just stay clear of him and your ex then maybe you could enjoy your weekend. Tavish called for supper and gave everyone a plate piled high with meats and salad except for Anaya her plate was just salad.

“So how was the trip out?? I hope you didn’t get into any trouble on your way did you? “ Olian spoke smoothly as he carefully dug into the pile of food. A sinister smirk on his face as he spoke to Jaxx and Anaya.

“Yes I’d have to say the trip was quite lovely only time we may have had an issue was when the horses needed to reach for the apples on the tallest branches while we were on the road. “ Everyone gave a little chuckle to Jaxx’s story. It was a matter of minutes before everyone’s plate was clear well, everyone but yours. You had been so sick from seeing Dangari you just couldn’t bring yourself to eat. Your leg bouncing so aggressively hoping this was a dream or some sick nightmare.

“Anyone want another plate??? Dan and I sure do so we can get people seconds if you want!” Tavish’s voice didn’t match his physique whatsoever and it was hilarious, his strong arms dotted in freckles and old battle scars. His legs able to kick a ship to halt and yet here is sounding like a prepubescent youngling ready to go hunt with their mother for the first time. Standing from his seat Olian scoffed.

“Yes I would like another drink however I know you two idiots wouldn’t be able to make it correctly so I shall be accompanying you. “ His skin looked so soft and well maintained it was almost unfair at how beautiful he was. One of his parents must’ve been an elf. They all seemed like such an odd trio, the tired alcoholic father, the silly older brother and the mysterious younger brother.

With those three gone you had calmed down enough to finally start eating. Anaya looked so happy to see you pick up your fork instead of your water. Jaxx gave you a small thumbs up and a little pat on the shoulder. Barely finishing half your plate you called it quits. Cleaning up your dishes you turned to leave when something or well someone had stopped you. “Sorry I was just... I’ll... uh.. I’m sorry. “ looking up you had bumped into Dangari shit. He looked at you a little confused, you apologized and barely ate anything. You aren’t like how he remembers you at all. He wanted to find out what happened to you but no he shouldn’t care so much.

“Tch just watch where you’re going.” His voice was soft and not full of hate like you had expected. Scurrying out of his way you went off to your room and to bed. Maybe tomorrow will be better.

Waking up with a stretch your back cracked like little fireworks every time you moved, groaning softly you got dressed for the day and went downstairs. Tavish was up early like always making breakfast with Anaya. The two chatting up a storm while Olian and Jaxx meandered downstairs looking like death has taken over them. “Please for the sake of my ears shut up. I can hear you two from my chambers upstairs. Didn’t Dangari tell you not to wake me!!!!!” If he was a werebeast instead you could’ve sworn you’d see his tail bush up like an angry cat or something. Jaxx was never an early morning person either so they just clung to Anaya while she cooked.

“Sorry bro but breakfast duty calls and besides Dangari made one of your gross ass drinks before he left. “ Tavish rolled his eyes and slid the grumpy teifling his drink. “He should be back soon though right?? Something about needing to steam off.”

“No no hunny it’s blow off steam, now go set the table breakfast is done” Anaya laughed and shook her head as she played up the food. Scrambled eggs toast and lots of meat.

Just as the final plate was set down Dangari came back inside and looked.. beautiful. You could see his fluffy little ears poking out of his messy locks and the shirt he wore when he left was slung around his shoulders. “Thanks for breakfast I appreciate it Anaya”

“Hey what about me I helped too!!!” Dangari stuck his tongue out at Tavish and smirked. That’s where you called it quits. “Nessy you not gonna eat..??? You didn’t have anything last night you need somethin loves.” Anaya’s clearly rubbing off on him. Shaking your head no and smiling softly you excuse yourself for a walk around some of the trees. Tavish couldn’t do much other than to let you go.

Finding a nice spot to nap you laid down for what felt like a tea kettle boiling turned into sunset. Getting up and rushing forward in fear of being late for supper, you stopped. Which way did you go. How’d you get here, where are you, everything looked so much more different at night. It’s best to stay put and wait right ??? Better than getting more lost than you are.

Back in the inn Anaya was loosing her mind. You had just up and left. You didn’t know this area and Dangari being a stubborn wolf didn’t go get you when it was still light out! Pacing back and fourth hoping you’d just magically reappear in her arms. Your frail little body wouldn’t be able to keep you warm let alone having any food. That’s when she heard the howl. Immediately feeling relief that Dangari moved past his behaviour to go save you, that is.. until he walked into the kitchen.

“You’re not out there getting them?!!?!!!?? That wasn’t your howl????? Dangari!!!!!! Their in serious danger “

Stopping in his tracks Dangari’s upper lip rose to a small snarl. “You herd another howl. Bastards I told them to leave this land alone.” Storming outside Dangari immediately picked up your scent and followed it. There was a tribe of other werewolves who wanted this land for their own. It was a constant battle, shifting to his wolf figure Dangari sprinted after you.

Hearing the howl you hoped it was Dangari but you wouldn’t be surprise if it was another wolf pack. Sitting back down you curled up on yourself and tried to keep warm. When you felt a fluffy tail smack your arms. Looking up you expected Dangari’s deep brown eyes yet you were met with piercing blue. Sniffing at you curiously the beast wagged it’s tail and wondered off. Okay odd encounter wolves let alone werewolves don’t act like that maybe juuuuust maybe you were lucky and that was Jaxx shifting about in their many different forms.

Just before your hopes could’ve lifted another beast appeared and this one didn’t seem as friendly. Circling around you sniffing the air and the ground this one wasn’t pleased with your intrusion. “L-Look if you just point me east I’ll be gone in two minutes tops. I didn’t mean to cross onto your land I just got lost is all.” Hoping you could reason with them you were clearly wrong. The larger of the two opened its mouth saliva and blood dripping from its fangs as it took hold of your pant leg. “H-hey now woah there let me go!!!! “ squirming about you tried to free yourself but the wolf kept going. Covering your body in new scars and scratches and opening a few old ones along the way.

You didn’t make it very far before another wolf appeared. Standing tall and mightily it stalked towards you with those soft eyes you were hoping to see the first time. Dangari he actually came for you..

Snarling and growling the two larger wolves began their battle. Teeth, fur, fangs and claws flying all over the area while the wolf with blue eyes took you away from the scene protecting you from the mess you made. It wasn’t very long until Dangari emerged from the shadows a crazed look in his eye as he stalked towards you once more. The other wolf backed away and scampered off to go find the friend. Bowing slightly Dangari pulled you onto his back and started for home.

((Sorry to leave you all on a cliffhanger and for taking so long to post the second part!! School had me whipped. Anyways expect more regular updates!!!))

Tired is how you felt all the time. Ever since you broke up with your third ex life has not been kind to you. Loosing your home, your job, your identity. You lost it all. If it weren’t for your best friend Anaya you’d be out on the streets begging for change just to get by. Anaya has been your best friend since diapers your mothers moved in together when your fathers left for better lives in the kingdom.

They still send you birthday and holiday cards with money to treat yourselves but aside from that you’ve never had physical contact with them. Letting a sigh leave your mouth you slowly cleaned the leafy countertop covered in chocolate shavings and spilt drinks. When Anaya found out about your ex she immediately took you into her place and hired you as a waiter for her cafe making sure you ate and drank, taking care of yourself was always hard ever since the breakups. Your once lively laugh now hoarse and forced because you didn’t want her to worry anymore than she already did.

Tidying up shop and getting ready for the night you found yourself staring out the window gazing at the moon wondering what it would be like to be out there among the stars. Up in the sky shining down on everyone rather than having to look up to them. Stifling a small sniffle you locked up the shop and set out to walking back home. Maybe you could catch a break there, relax and just take time for yourself. Wrong. As soon as you walk through the door there’s Anaya and her significant other Jaxx. Sitting with bags on the floor and clothes messily thrown inside. “What are you two doing??”

“Ah you’re home!!! Welcome back my loves!!” Anaya quickly rushed you into a hug while Jaxx got the mess cleaned up with a bashful smile on their face. “Okay sooooo you’ll never guess what we got tickets for!!!! a nice weekend away at that new inn that opened up in the highlands !!!!!” The highlands? New inn you and them going? What about the cafe what about your mothers ??

“Anaya... I don’t think I can go.. what about-“ before you could finish your sentence Anaya shushed you and kissed your forehead.

“Listen love don’t worry. I have my apprentice looking after that, our mothers are on a business trip to the kingdom I have everything all planned out we leave tomorrow!! Now go pack! “ She really never left any room for argument just like her mother. Nodding your head you moped off to your room to pack. How bad could it be?

Shakily lifting your suitcase in the back of the carriage Jaxx smiled softly and helped you load up the luggage. They were always sweet to you ever since Anaya introduced you two together they’ve acted like your own parents at times towards yourself. Looking out for you and making sure you’re okay, you were thankful for their care. Their smile turned to a frown when they heard your stomach grumble. “Did you eat breakfast this morning ?? It’s going to be a long trip and we won’t be making any stops in the nearby villages. Anaya did you pack snacks!!! I don’t think someone ate this morning” Before you could defend yourself Anaya came skipping over with a small basket of snacks and drinks just for you.

“They never eat breakfast before we travel it’s usually on the way or when we get there. Now everyone go load up the coachman is waiting !!!!” Ushering the two of you inside Anaya got comfy and was out like a light cuddled against Jaxx. They smiled softly and played with her hair softly kissing their head as they scouted over patting the seat beside them. Accepting their offer you found yourself snuggled into the other side of jaxx falling asleep listening to the slow rise and fall of their chest.

When you woke you were being carried inside a building by a pair of arms you didn’t recognize. Freaking out slightly before the owner of the arms let you down a wide toothy grin meeting your face before it clicked in your mind who the mysterious man was. “Nessy!!!!! Come on you gotta remember me !! Don’t tell me it’s been that long since you’ve seen me!” Nessy. Only one person gave you that nickname.

“Tavish!! “ Your travelling buddy you met him on a ship sailing out to the kingdom he was trying to drown someone on deck when you gave him a bit of help. “It’s been a while you’ve finally beefed out haven’t you no longer the tiny shrimp I remember you to be. “ Tavish was a Kelpie who preferred his human side than horse helped with his urges.

“Hey hey that’s not very nice! I’ve always been beefed out excuse you. We were just on a ship and it was hard to carry people okay!” You both had a small laugh out of the corner of your eye you saw Anaya and Jaxx’s faces full of pride and joy at seeing you so happy. “Our host should be greeting us at any minute now I hope he’s not an ass ya know?” Smacking his arm you laughed a little more.

That’s when he entered the room. Deeply tanned skin, soft brown eyes fluffy ears hidden beneath the mountain of dreadlocks atop his head. Your first ex ever. Dangari. Your heart sunk, shattered, every small sliver of joy until now gone out the window. Feeling sick to your stomach you grabbed onto Tavish with a grip that would be sure to leave bruises against his pale skin. Feeling a panic attack come on you quickly rushed back outside to the carriage.

Everyone’s eyes were on you. Had you changed that much since you last saw him he didn’t recognize you anymore. You did loose weight, like a lot of weight you barely saw the sun, never really slept. That shouldn’t have changed you that much should it. The first to follow was Tavish. “Ness are you okay what’s going on talk to me. “ gently holding your arms in his hands you realized he could wrap his entire hand around you and still have hand to spare.

“I-I just.. Th-That’s my ex.. “ your voice was so shaky as you tried to speak you didn’t know what to do. “H-he owns this place... I-I didn’t know I shouldn’t have come, I need t-to leave. “ Next came Anaya and Jaxx followed by Dangari and some teifling,

“Babes are you okay !!!?! “ Anaya rushed over to your side checking you over then glancing to everyone else at the inn when it clicked in her mind. “Oh darling.. I’m so sorry I had no idea. We can go home- “

Cutting her off you shook your head. “He doesn’t know it’s me right I-I can just tough it out it’s one weekend..” Dangari and the teifling were speaking when it seemed to have clicked in his mind. His concerned and worried expression shifting to one filled with hatred and a coldness you had only ever seen once before.

This is going to be fun.

I finished my first story “An Orcs Promise”

I hope those of you who have read it enjoyed it!! Im going to be working on a few other ideas I have rattling around in my brain one of them is another orc and the other two involve a werewolf and a polyamorous selkie and kelpie! (I can’t remember who posted the polyamorous selkie and kelpie before but they helped inspire my own take on something like that. !! ) Until I post again have a good weekend everyone !!!

You seriously couldn’t pick.. and you didn’t want them to fight at least more than they already did. So you chose all of them!! You could have a huge open relationship. You and the three siblings against the world so carefully picking up all of the items you laid them down in each of their hands. The looks on their faces were priceless. “ so lamb does this mean you choose none of us??? What is going on here “ Ellera was first to speak up and open her eyes.

“Nope I couldn’t choose one so I chose all of you and I couldn’t stand if you fought over me.. so I just thought this would be better. “ you spoke softly and rather nervously starting to fear they may have just lost any liking of you just then. Fiddling nervously with the hem of your shirt you were caught by surprise when Oridan and Killian rushed over to you and hugged you.

“I mean we already share practically everything else what’s one more. Though maybe I’ll get greedy and I don’t want to share you. “ Oridan spoke huskily in your ear as he pulled you away from Killian and Ellera. Laughing a bit at your red face Ellera smacked his arm.

“Be gentle we still want them to like us Ya arse. Besides maybe I don’t want to share!! “ Ellera then snatched you up in her arms laughing at Oridans face. Then Oridan went to strike again with the two caught up in arguing Killian snuck in and swooped you away.

“And with those two arguing we can take our leave before they destroy your parents house.. we’ll have to make a few adjustments to house ideas and find a more suitable place to build a bit of a bigger house. “ Killian spoke softly as he lead you outside and waited for his siblings to notice you were gone.

“Hey what the hell you can’t just steal them like that!!!!” Ellera rushed out of the house first Oridan following closely behind her.

“We were discussing housing options!! It was my idea I didn’t want to interrupt you two ladies “ you smiled brightly covering for Killian and hopefully saving him from a smacking. The older two immediately melted smiling softly at you.

“Okay fine fine. We can build by a lake!” And just like that another argument ensued. At least you loved them all.

Three months in and there still hasn’t been a picked location to fully settle on so while the others were out working you got to your own planning. Picking out everything the siblings liked about a spot and trying to combine them together. Oridan wanted somewhere secluded with water. Ellera wanted a spot to have an open clearing for a gazebo and Killian wanted somewhere a little bit colder. Okay you can do this.

Talking to one of your elven friends they helped you pick the perfect spot. Plenty of land so you can clear a few trees away, it was warm but with the gentle wind it would be nice and cold and best part no one else was in that area. It was about an hours ride into the village so it was perfect!!! Now you just needed the house. Talking to a few centaurs and some other orcs visiting from the stronghold you had a team ready to build. You payed them with coins, good food and drinks and everyone was super happy to help you.

It took you all one night and two days to get the exterior all done you could do the interior with the siblings when you brought them down.

Finally returning to your temporary home you were met with worried faces and many hugs and kisses. “Where were you lamb! You didn’t come home and we were worried!!! You can’t do that again. “ You left a note for them but you did feel bad.

“You guys didn’t get my note? I left it on the work bench.. but doesn’t matter I’m back now and I’ve been working on surprise for all of you!! Come on tack the horses let’s go” Ellera looked to Oridan and Killian a bit confused but she followed along your orders.

Taking them down to the house you had been working on your face shown with pride and happiness! “Oh honey bee.. it’s beautiful is this what you’ve been doing?” Oridan smiled as he got down from his horse of course it would need a few things like some stables and a paddock, as well as a greenhouse area but it was home. And you did this for them.

“It’s perfect.. like you. “ Killian smiled softly your way enjoying the soft breeze in his hair. This felt right to all of them and to you. You couldn’t have wished for you life to be any other way right now.

“It still needs some work but I figured you lot would want to do that to make it really home!! It has a couple of rooms so we all can have separate spaces for when we need a big kitchen and dining area plus all this land is ours, under royal word. I may or may not have had some ties in the kingdom to make that happen but if anyone wishes to pass by this land or stay the night we have to allow it and if we don’t well then their fucked. They’d be trespassing and can get dealt with by the king !! “ The siblings looked at you in awe their faces so love struck it made you giddy.

“Our home is anywhere you are, you’ve just given us a piece of your heart in this land and this house. Anywhere is home as long as you’re here. “ Ellera spoke so softly as she pulled you into a hug.

You couldn’t have made a better choice. Moving in the next day and immediately getting to work on what the siblings wanted added onto the land. The stables were built and the greenhouse was started by the end of the day. This chunk of earth would soon provide for you and generations to come. You couldn’t wait to see how life would play out now.

Killian made food every night almost like he had a mental menu to pick from. Oridan would make sure everyone took breaks and you all got to have dates and days off. Ellera spoiled you all the time letting her or not. Your feet hurt? You’re never touching the ground Oridan softly rubbing your legs and Killian making you some tea to help your muscles.

It was an odd blend but you all made it work. Killian often called you the glue of the house. Keeping everyone and their heads together, you all were a strange bunch but it was as perfect as something could be. You each had a dynamic that worked. No matter what you loved you big and goofy orcs and they loved you just as much if not more.

Picking up the cloak you softly laid it in Killians hands. You could already see him trying not to cry. He was beyond happy you had chosen him. Over the last few weeks you had become his life his world, every emotion taking over him he rushed forwards pulling you in a tight embrace. “Oh thank you thank you thank you!!!!” You giggled softly and hugged him back the best you could.

Ellera and Oridan both smiled at Killian their eyes filled with sadness and pride for their little brother and you. Heading out and leaving you two be Killian pulled away a dark green blush on his face. Taking your hand he smiled politely to your parents and took you away to your new plot of land. He didn’t want to build anything yet incase you didn’t like it and building wasn’t really a strong suite of his. So you two can figure it out together.

That’s how you got to where you are today, three weeks after choosing Killian and your little house was all ready. You each had an office all to yourselves, you both enjoyed your alone time while working but at the end of the day it was nice getting to come out of your rooms and share a meal together. Life had been wonderful with Killian by your side. He was so sweet and caring always looking out for you and making sure you were taken care of.

So today you figured you’d treat him. Going into town you wanted to get some ingredients and make supper together! You thought that would be a really nice treat since you hated cooking and never willingly wished to help him. Quite frankly you were scared to burn down the kitchen. Sneaking out of the house earlier than when you’d usually leave you didn’t want Killian to notice you were up to anything. Grabbing a basket you went down into the market, picking out the best produce since you were so early not many others were out shopping yet. Oh maybe you could go visit the new butcher shop today too!!! Make a nice hearty stew especially since you live closer to the mountain trails it’s a little chillier with the winds. You didn’t mind though the cold was nice you can always warm up better than you can cool yourself down.

So with your plan set you got to work with getting the ingredients you’ll need. A nice spin on mama Alicia’s thief stew you were super excited to cook with Killian tonight, so lost you realize the tree like man in front of you. “Oh I’m so sorry I didn’t see you and I’m terribly sorry!” Glancing up you immediately regretted it, it was one of those orcs from that group you met on your first date. It seems he remembered you too. With a hearty laugh and a menacing smirk the orc picked you up and tossed you over his shoulder. Talking to you in orcish barely able to piece together what he was saying. All you could understand was “leaving, me, you, divorce, new mate” you could guess what he was inferring.

Kicking at his chest and smacking his back you cried out for someone to help. Jake the local lumberjack noticed your distress and immediately tried to come to your aid. “Shit.. I can’t take a whole heard on.. leave a trail where your going!!!! I’ll get Killian and a few others we’re coming to get you I promise keep fighting!!!!! “ Jakes thundering hooves disappeared in the distance with any hope you had left. You didn’t have anything to make a trail with yet. Your cloak will have to do sadly.. ripping a small piece off every few steps you hoped and prayed you had enough to cover where you were going to.

You traveled all day your stomach, legs, back and throat hurt so badly from all the fighting you did. He finally dropped you down on a soft pelt of furs you almost wanted to sleep when you realized he had different plans. Trapping you beneath him a new rush of adrenaline kicked in finding an all new will and reason to fight. He quickly stilled you with his hands, grunting angrily as he moved your clothes around a bit finding your forming bruises and scratches he began patching you up. Using a nasty smelling paste and some torn cloths he seemed satisfied with his work when he pulled away and tossed you new clothes. What the hell was he up to?

Oh shit.. you’re not for him but for the head of the hoard. That explains the pelts and nicer looking tent. Once more a new fear kicked into your blood, “calm down little mouse. I won’t harm you unless you provoke me or try to run. “ He could speak common tongue. That was nice at least you could communicate together though did you really want to?

“What do you want from me.. why am I here. I won’t be worth anything so just let me go bastard. “ The orc simply laughed and sat down beside you wrapping an arm around your waist he pulled you to his side.

“That orc you were with. It’s simple he insulted us, we take what’s his and fight and we win everything when he dies. That includes you. My new mate,” His words sent chills down your spine. Killian fighting to the death for you.. but you weren’t worth that. No Killian was more important than you, you couldn’t let him die just because of your foolishness..

Your mind was racing everything still hurting, you felt so unsafe and scared but you couldn’t keep your eyes open. Today took a toll on you and it showed. You felt yourself being shifted around to lay on the furs. They weren’t too bad not yet at least.

Waking with a start with yelling and swearing you rushed out of the tent. There you saw a battle field. Hoard vs Hoard. That’s when you spotted Killian and the leader battling together Killian was going to loose another orc was coming up behind him you needed to do something. Think think think!! You decided to grab a rock and chuck it as hard as you could hitting the orc behind Killian. “Look out behind you !!!!” Shouting as loudly as your sore throat would allow you Killian took notice and for a second he smiled at you before taking care of the orcs. Ellera, Oridan,.and the rest of the thundered family were all here fighting for you..

It didn’t take too long before Killian let out a blood curdling war cry as he held up the head of the rouge leader. “ All of you are to leave!!! Never return or you will be next I promise. “ Once more a side of Killian you had never seen.. but all the blood made you queasy shutting your eyes for what felt like a minute you opened them back up to find you were home.

“You’re awake!!! Oh I’m so sorry I wasn’t there sooner are you okay how are you feeling I’m so so so sorry!! And your cloak.. oh darling I’m so sorry “ you laughed softly theres the Killian you fell in love with..

“I’m okay.. all that matters is that you showed up and you won.. I was so worried but you came.. “ softly pulling him down to your side you hugged him close kissing his cheek and praising at how well he did in the battle and finding you. “We can make a new cloak together maybe you could teach me.. “ Killian held you so gently yet so securely you felt yourself drifting to sleep once more.

“Sleep well darling.. I promise I’ll always keep you safe..” Smiling at his words you knew he’d keep his promise.

Taking the dagger you were careful to place it in his hands. His grin grew tenfold. Whispering a small “I knew it.” You rolled your eyes softly at his cockiness. Your hands shaking worried at what the other two would think now that you’ve chosen. “What made you choose me?” Oridan looked at his siblings leave before turning back to you. His smile widened his dark green cheeks flushing a bit in embarrassment as you gently took his hand and smiled just as widely.

“Well I had a good time with you and I-I don’t know you were just nice and-“ He cut you off with a small kiss to your cheek. Your face went bright red as you nudged him away. “My parents are still home!” Oridan laughed and picked you up holding you with ease on his shoulder like you weighted nothing to him.

“It was a simple kiss my honey bee I’m sure your parents know what a simple kiss is!! “ Maybe you regret your choice Oridans ego only seemed to grow from being chosen. Big mistake on your part he didn’t need any more ego, you needed to knock him off his high horse. “So where shall we set our home? I was thinking this little place by a creek good for crops and little ones you know what I mean!” Smacking the side of his head you huffed a bit you should’ve known what you were getting into.

“You know that does sound nice but the little ones are going to be furry. We start with dogs and other animals then maybe we can think about it. “ His grin grew wider if possible and his step got an extra little skip in it. Changing paths he started walking towards a little spot not far from the village but just starting to border the forest paths. There it sat in all its beauty a little house, a stable and a farm already in the makes. “You made all this ??? What if I said no???”

Oridan laughed as he carried you inside. “ I was going to live here anyways but you made me work a little harder to finish it before snow fall. So even if you said no I would’ve been fine and you could’ve come visit!! “

You’ve lived in your new home for about two weeks and it’s been lovely. You get to go out and ride your horses on your land, you can pick some apples along the way splash around in a creek. All the while Oridans ego seemed to flourish with you around. It was funny how he could go from this cocky bastard to nothing more than a pile of mush after you called him your hero.

“Hey honey I’m going out to town do you want to come or stay? “ Oridan called out from the kitchen grumbling about having no food in the house, there was plenty of food he just didn’t know how to cook or what to cook. Poking your head out of your bedroom you grinned up to him.

“How about a date ? We can go down to the dragon and tell Mama Alicia!!! “ you’ve been wanting to go back for some time now since Oridan first took you. It’s all you’ve been craving.

“And what so I can get skinned alive from her after not immediately telling her??? “ You quickly shushed him reassuring him you’d handle it. That barely seemed to ease his mind from the possible whacking he’ll get. Letting out a sigh of defeat “okay we can go just promise you won’t let that note pad near me. “

“Yes!!!! Thank you my herooo~ “ you giggled and ran off to get the horses ready. As he said on your first date, he’d walk through hell and back just for you.

That’s how you found yourself an hour later guarding your mate from Mama Alicia. She was scarily sweet to you but as soon as she turned to him it was like a demon possessed her. “ is this why you’ve been skipping shifts??! Oh I’m so happy for you two but Oridan !!!! You damned boy you better start showing up again or else you’ll find yourself in my next batch of thief’s stew !!!! “ you sat there wide eyed watching this tiny woman so full of love towards you turn to a small demon towards your mate. Well everyone has their outlet this must be hers. You found it cute though watching Oridan try and explain himself only to get ignored.

It didn’t take long for you food to come and it was just as good as the first time. Oh how you loved it here. The atmosphere the staff it felt like a third home. Oridan every thing he could to make you feel welcomed wherever you went and of course he loved to show you off. Always teasing you out in public but behind closed doors he’d melt. You’d compliment him and he’s mush. Seriously call him a good boy, tell him he did good, call him handsome and he’s a puddle of green mush.

On your way home after an excellent meal you ran into some of the kings guards who were a little lost. They were looking for the stronghold and got mixed up with a fae path instead. So Oridan went and offered a helping hand you trailed along just to make sure no silly business went down.

Riding up along side Oridan you felt the guards eyes on you. Probably wondering why you with the orc. It wasn’t uncommon for interspecies relationships but in the kingdom they were rarely seen. The kingdom was for “purebreds” fucking messed up but that doesn’t matter what does is why did the guards need to go to the stronghold ? “So fellas what do you need from the strong hold?” You were curious and wanted to know, plus it’s where Killian and Ellera were. If they had bad intentions you wanted to keep them safe.

One of the guards grumbled something about peasants and thinking they had power to speak out of place. “We need to talk to them about a deal with the king. Theres talk of a rouge group of beasts and we need extra help to get rid of them. “ Assassins and mercenaries of course and the larger number of people would surely help them in a battle.

“I see well then I wish you best of luck with that. “ Turning to Oridan you had a worried face, not wanting any harm to come to his family. He smiled softly and reassuringly his family could handle anything, their stubborn assholes.

“don’t worry honey bee it’ll be alright besides these guys are some of the best amongst orc legend. “ Oridan spoke quietly but confidently. Nodding your head softly you turned back to check on the guards. They all had this look that irked you.

Thankfully the trip wasn’t bad only for a run in with some werewolves who took over to finish leading the guards to the stronghold. It was the middle of the night before you got to return home, the stars and full moon casting a beautiful glow over your land. Glancing to Oridan the moon highlighted all his features stunningly. “As fun as today was I am sore.. “ You grumbled as you hopped down from your trusty steed, standing tall on wobbly and sore legs you lead your horse to the stables and had her ready for bed.

“Here you shouldn’t have to do that if you’re in so much pain. “ Oridan spoke to you with such a teasing tone you couldn’t help but laugh. Watching him fumble with the horses tack as he tried to finish getting them ready. It took him a few tries and little help from you to get them in the paddock for the night. “There see easy as cake. Now come my highness let me help you with those weary legs.” Oridan picked you up and tossed you over his shoulder leading you back into your shared home.

“Oridan!!!! “ you squealed and giggled all the way to your bed as he tossed you down, jumping in beside you Oridan took your thigh in his hand. Softly tracing patterns into your sore skin you snuggled up onto his chest. Listening to his heart beat you felt yourself being lulled to sleep. “Do you think that’s what the guards actually wanted? “ you had to ask you needed to know.

“Mm no not at all. They probably needed extra field workers to get ready for planting season. I used to go with Killian when we were younger. They pay good and the farmers are actually really sweet it’s just the guards and how it’s set up that I have a problem with. I don’t see why they need orcs to do it. The humans are very capable of it by themselves but the king is stingy he wants everything done and planted on a certain day. It’s strange but what can you do. “ You didn’t expect him to be so open about that, shaking your head you sighed.

“Strange that they set it up like that. Wouldn’t it be easer to send out papers and messengers rather than an army of guards?” Oridan laughed and mumbled a small no. “Well at least you don’t need to worry about things like that right? You can just worry about you me and the possible pitter patter of some dogs or cats maybe !!!” Closing your eyes you felt at ease in Oridans arms, listening to his rhythmic heart beat and his slowed breathing.

“Hmm.. we can start our search tomorrow for some fur babies.. but for now it’s just us tonight. Goodnight my honey bee..” Kissing the top of your head Oridans thunderous snores soon filled your home. Softly laughing you kissed his cheek and bid him goodnight as well before falling into your own slumber.

Taking a deep breath you picked up the vase and walked over to Ellera. Softly placing it in her hands, you took a step back a nervous smile on your face. You could see tears starting to build up in her closed eyes when she felt the vase in her hands. Peaking an eye open Ellera looked down at you with such love and joy. Her face displaying all her emotions. The boys opened their eyes with a bit of disappointment but also joy. They may not have won your heart but you’ll still be part of the family.

Two weeks had passed since you chose Ellera as your mate. They have been the best two weeks of your life so far. Your days filled with working in your shop and getting to come home to your almost finished cabin. She helped you finish your carving, got you some lumber, plotted out where the cabin was going to go and started building. You were honoured to have her help you build. Sure you didn’t get much done when working together because you two were usually too busy staring at the other work.

With you gone at your shop it was easier for Ellera to do and finish her work, she loved your company don’t get her wrong but you two could not work together. No work would get done and you’d only stare and compliment one another. So she took her chance whenever you were away to finish everything up. It worked out quite nicely as well. Once fully moved into your home you both took turns meeting each others family extended and all.

Of course yours and her parents already loved you both but, what would your grandparents say? What would her aunts and uncles say? Only one way to find out you supposed. Going to sleep that night felt impossible to you, you were so anxious at what your family would think of Ellera. You knew interspecies relationships were fine I mean look at your mother and father! But an orc? Maybe that one was uncalled for.

Waking the next morning your limbs tangled with Elleras, your head on her chest and one of her arms protectively holding you in place. Groaning softly as you tried to detangle yourself and pull away from her. “Ellera.. we need to get up and get ready.. we’re seeing my family” whining when she only pulled you back down farther and holding you with more force. Sighing softly to yourself. “ okay five more minutes...”

Five minutes turned into another two hours. Jolting awake you looked around panicked. Your family was going to be here any minute you needed to cook and clean and get ready. You didn’t have time.. wheres Ellera. Oh no.. had your family already shown up and kidnaped her thinking she was a terrible mate? Had they thought she did a few things before the wedding night? Oh no oh no oh no. Racing to get up and get ready you almost started crying when you heard knocks at your door. Calming yourself you go and get the door only to find Ellera with her arms filled with ingredients and freshly baked goods.

“Good morning little lamb I hope you slept okay.. I got some things so we can cook a good meal for your folks!” Your heart stopped. You were mad but also incredibly impressed taking a look around the cabin it was clean.. and looked good and smelt like freshly baked bread. Feeling tears in your eyes you hugged Ellera tightly. “L-Little lamb are you okay I’m so sorry I didn’t mean to scare you. I know you couldn’t sleep the other night so I wanted you to sleep I cleaned and got things so you wouldn’t have to worry or stress yourself I’m so sorry my lamb. “ her voice was shaky as she spoke worried she had upset you.

Softly shaking your head no you hugged her tighter. Your voice muffled by her chest and clothing. “ I was worried about you gone when I got up.. I thought my family kidnapped you thinking you did something terrible with the house a mess and me not even awake. B-but you did all this.. “ you were so happy you couldn’t express it. Leaning up and kissing her cheek you smiled and took some of the baskets. “What are we making?” The rest of your morning was filled with cooking, baking and last final touches for getting ready.

Once they did show they loved Ellera she was sweet, kind, funny a good cook and handy woman. They knew she could take care of you and you could take care of her. It all went by so smoothly until Ellera had said it was time for you to meet her extended family. You had three days to prepare yourself. You had hoped you had more time until that came. Meeting your family take a few weeks meet hers and be done. Not meet the family then get ready to meet the other family.

You hated large crowds and gatherings you needed time to recover and recharge your social battery. But you think you might be able to manage with Ellera at your side and you couldn’t wait to see the boys again. Despite your choice you stayed good friends with them, hell they acted more like your bothers than anything else now. Spending the rest of the day cleaning and getting ready to pack and travel you were exhausted come bed time.

The next day was filled with more nerves and jitters as you put the final touches together on what you were taking for your trip. Ellera had practically disappeared this morning leaving you to the house by yourself maybe giving you some extra alone time. You appreciated it but also you didn’t, it gave you time to start over thinking things. Shaking your head you needed to keep packing. So wrapped up in your packing you hadn’t even noticed Ellera was home with two other sets of footsteps following her. “Little lamb in back!”

Perking your head up at the sound of her voice you wondered over to the front door to greet her only to be met with her bothers. “Oridan Killian!!! What are you guys doing here ??? How are you?” Your mood instantly changed and Ellera was quite pleased with herself there.

“Well our dear sister told us you were coming down to meet the family. A terrible idea if you ask us. They’re loud and annoying but that’s how orcs are anyways anyways. So she figured you’d be all nervous especially after your own family meeting so we came down to cheer you up! “ Oridan smiled brightly and hugged you at a crushing force. The type of hug you’ve come to expect from him while Killian patiently waited his turn. He gave you a much softer and gentler hug.

“It’s good to see you again.. ma and pa will be ecstatic to see you as well but be warned of our little cousins they tend to bite. “ Killian spoke with a laugh as he showed you some bite marks he got after babysitting the terrible twos. You felt so much better Ellera knew you too well you wished you could do something for her.

With the boys around the rest of the day flew by until it was time to leave. Meeting Elleras family. You’ve never been up to the stronghold before this would be a first and you were scared but you had a surprise up your sleeve. Maybe it could get you some extra brownie points. The trip was just as short as the day before with the boys present. Time flew when the three siblings were reunited it was a bit funny. They acted like typical siblings throwing insults and punches but yet they loved each other and were so close.

Arriving at the stronghold stopped your heart. Met at a gate by some rather large and terrifying looking orcs you felt yourself shrink into seat and scoot closer to Ellera who happily wrapped an arm around your waist. The place was filled with mostly orcs a few humans and fae sprinkled around here and there. Oh gods you were doing this. This was really happening. Okay you can do this. Pulling up to the Thundered house you could tell you were all the last to arrive. Reaching in one of your bags you pulled out a satchel gift giving was huge in orc culture so you had been making carvings for them you had no idea if you had enough or if they would even like them.

Walking into the home you felt so small. Everyone’s eyes were on you. You felt yourself freeze up and going to find Elleras hand but instead you found Mrs. Thundered a wide smile and open arms. Letting a small sigh of relief leave your lips you rushed over and tightly hugged her. She had always been like a second mother to you. So of course she received the first carving. A simple bear with two little Cubs you had a matching father bear with one cub, you didn’t have enough time to make one whole carving but you hoped it was enough.

Nodding her head in acceptance and appreciation Mrs. Thundered spoke that the party may continue. Females had much more power than the males did in this stronghold it was a matriarchal group so of course Mrs. Thundered had plenty of respect it also helped that her family was so large. Going about and meeting all of Elleras other family members you gave them all a small carving. Some broke into tears others hugged you and some just nodded paying not much mind to you. It had been such a long day you were ready to curl up in Elleras arms for the night.

“You did so good today my lamb. My folks are very impressed by you. Smart bringing gifts that got you off of a few lists. They didn’t like I moved away from the Stronghold but that’s a them problem. “ that explains why some of them didn’t want to speak with you.

“Thank you.. I wouldn’t have been able to do it without you or the boys. Here.. this is for you.” Pulling out the final carving it was of you and her made with such detail and care it made her smile so wide and her eyes shine. Taking it gracefully in her hands Ellera lead you upstairs to her room.

“I have a treat for you tonight my lamb~“ Her voice was low and sending shivers down your spine as she lead you to the bed. Pushing you down Ellera laughed a little as she flopped down beside you. “A full nights rest no interruptions no waking early and breakfast in bed” glancing over to your face she laughed more when she saw how red you were.

Embarrassed you smacked her arm and hid your face. “ you can’t speak like that and expect me not to think of other things!! That’s unfair you knew what you were doing! “ Pulling you into her arms Ellera smiled and kissed all over your face like she did when you chose her.

“Hush my lamb plenty of time for that after marriage. “ she spoke with a teasing tone. Holding you closer in her arms you were glad you chose her. Shaking your head as you drifted off into one of the best sleeps you’ve ever had.

You had made the right choice.

Yesterday took your through a whirlwind of emotions. Killian shown you a new side of his character, great this didn’t help you at all. Each of them in their own way stole your heart and made you fall in love with them. However the day has come and you need to choose. A part of you doesnt want to another part already knows who you wish to choose.

Sluggishly pulling yourself out of bed you groaned as you stretched out all the knots in your neck. Sleeping on the couch not a good idea.. well sleeping by yourself on the couch bad idea. Doing up your hair and getting dressed in some more fancy attire you took the courting gifts downstairs and awaited for the arrival of the chosen.

“Darling are you sure you know who you wish to pick? And it’s okay to say you aren’t ready to pick!!! “ your mothers words melted together in your mind as she spoke how could you choose. They all loved you in their own way. You love all of them in your own way. Shit. You could hear them racing up to your house their thunderous footsteps shaking the earth as they went. “Whoever you choose your father and I are happy”

Taking a deep breath you shut your eyes and calmed your nerves. Going to the door and greeting all of the siblings with a smile you ushered them inside. Closing the curtains knowing your nosy neighbors would try to peak in to see who you chose.

“I’ve decided the best way to do this is I’ll pick up the gift you gave me and if I’ve chosen you you’ll get your gift in your hands. C-could you please however shut your eyes and hold out your hands. “ you were nervous you were scared.. whos will you choose.

The Final Date: Killian,

Ellera’s date was so sweet you had a sugar crash, Oridan took you out for a lovely meal where you got to meet the lovely owner of the Drunken dragon.

Now what would Killian have in store for you. Maybe it would be a little book store date! Oh that would be wonderful but maybe that wouldn’t happen whatever he had planned you were excited.

Going for a more simple outfit this time you found yourself getting up and ready early for once, your father almost made a comment on if you were his child or not but your mother stopped him. He say something like that you wouldn’t do it again. Your mother understands things while your father tries but it’s just best to not try and force him to learn or try anything new. He’s just set in his ways of course he cares for you he just has a strange way sometimes.

“Well would this be okay..? I don’t know I’m more nervous for this one than I have for the other two. Maybe it’s just because he’s so shy and soft spoken?? I don’t know should I do this. “ you spoke rather quickly not taking into consideration that your parents couldn’t keep up with your thoughts.

“Hush my dear you’ll be just fine I promise and if not I’ll turn him into a toad and feed him to my snakes. Just say the word” your mother smiled as she fussed with your hair a bit before licking her thumb and wiping some dirt off your cheek. “Besides Killian is such a sweetheart I don’t think anything will happen. Silence those nasty thoughts in your mind and be here in the present with me with him okay? “ your mother had a strange way of easing your mind. Yet it worked every time.

Three knocks pulled you away from your mother and your thoughts. Trying your best to calmly walk to the door you smiled brightly up to Killian. “Wh-what are these for... their beautiful.. “ gently placed in your hand was a simple bouquet of dried roses, baby’s breath and snowdrops.

“I’m sorry I wasn’t able to find your favourites they dont grow this time of year.. “ Killians skin was much like his sisters but he was littered with emerald green specks hidden beneath the growing blush on his cheeks. “N-Now are you ready to go?” Holding out his hand Killian smiled shyly waiting for you.

“Oh mother could you??” Without having to finish what you wished to say your mother nodded as she took the flowers up to your room. “Thank you! Y-yes let’s go!” Placing your hand in his you giggled a bit at the difference in sizes. You liked it.. made you feel safe that’s how you felt with all the siblings together or alone with them. It was a nice feeling. “So what do you have in store for us today?”

Holding your hand so carefully Killian smiled glancing down to you “w-well I was thinking we could walk around the village do a bit of errand running an-and then I could maybe.. if you wanted t-take you out for a meal.. n-not at a tavern b-but like made by me?” His voice was so soft and so full of uncertainty it broke your heart a bit. You wanted to take his soft cheeks in your hands bring his face down to your level and tell him how amazing he is until he believes it!

“You sew and cook!! You sound like you’re going for my heart.. it sounds lovely I’m happy to just spend the time with you. You’re always so quiet with your siblings around it’s nice to hear you talk more..” holding his hand tighter you gently traced small circles in on his hand. His face lit up as he smiled a bit wider and little more confidently.

“W-well that is the goal.. though I’m sure you could capture anyone’s heart if you chose too. “ You loved seeing this new burst of confidence from him it was sweet and nice to know you could do such a thing. “Oh here’s the first shop..”

Wondering into a little hardware shop Killian smiled as he spoke to the centaur owner so confidently. He must know him seeing some things you needed yourself you took your own basket and coin pouch out until Killian took them from your hands. Staring at him wordlessly you knew if you tried to argue with him he’d say something mushy about how he wishes to treat you for doing an errand run as your first date together. And you didn’t want to go through that, maybe another time you can have a small bicker like that.

Taking the baskets into his arm Killian smiled softly at you once more as he lead you out and about the other stores in your village. He wouldn’t let you carry a thing and honestly you didn’t mind.. you got to see his arms flex and the muscles underneath his shirt pop a little. What a sight to behold when he needed to roll up his sleeves to stop the baskets from sliding around on his arm. You couldn’t stop staring for a moment you knew orcs were muscular and all yet, you’ve never seen an orc with smaller muscles and more definition. Killian was certainly something else and honestly you loved it.

“Hey what’re some of the orcs doing here? I mean like you guys come down and all but as a group that large ?? That’s barely ever happened since we first started trading with you guys. “ You glanced up at Killian then back over to a group of orcs now realizing they are much different than Killian could they be from the same stronghold or were they here for something different.

At the mention of new orcs a new side shone through Killian. Shifting all the baskets to one arm, using his free arm Killian held you close to his side. Snarling softly under his breath. “Rouge Raiders. Some of the older orc generations believe this is the way to do things. Pillage, harvest and murder. My stronghold has a few orcs who still think like that but under our new chieftains rule they don’t have much power to do anything. Just stay close please..” Gripping onto his shirt you listened to his words in both fear and amazement. You liked hearing him speak but maybe under different circumstances. Killian held himself high and proudly walking over to the small herd of orcs.

What the hell is he thinking?? Is he trying to get himself killed he just said not to look at them which also implies do not speak to them. The herd snarled and bared their tusks at Killian clearly not expecting an orc to already be here. Speaking up and full of confidence Killian seemed to ease the orcs tempers. You could make out very few words since you weren’t as confident in orcish as you wished to have been. But you could understand “leave” and “mine” very simple but also powerful towards the other orcs.

When they started approaching to get closer into the village centre Killian stepped fourth once more holding you protectively behind himself. Snarling louder drew the attention of some of the shop owners and local villagers. Only the shop owners joined along side Killian, centaurs, elves and fae alike all ready to protect this little spot. With the new reinforcements Killian spoke louder and clearer to the hoard. With a final huff and a snarl the hoard left saying something you couldn’t catch. “Th-thank you everyone s-sorry about that..” stuttering over his words Killians shell melted away and brought back his soft and mushy self.

You were still in awe at his display. “What was the conversation about ?” Pulling his attention away from everyone staring at him Killian relaxed a bit at the sound of your voice.

“Oh.. it was just how my clan and I have gone soft.. an-and how I was lucky the others showed up.. th-that’s all” You almost didn’t want to believe him but you won’t push it any farther. Realizing you were still holding onto him you quickly apologized and pulled away going back to just holding his hand. “Let’s go get some food... a-are you still up for my cooking?” As if he had to ask!! Lunch and a good story to tell you were so ready to praise him and tell him how good he did being so brave.

“Of course!! Where are we going I can’t wait to try it “ your mouth was already watering at the thought of a home cooked meal from him. Smiling brightly you thought of all your years of sneaking food from your mothers cooking would finally pay off!

“O-oh we’re going back to your place your parents said it was alright a-as long as they had some left overs” Nodding your head excitedly you rushed off dragging Killian along with you. Your little house just in view, your stomach rumbling, your mouth watering and your legs tired from all the walking. Seems like a perfect way to end a date.

You melted at the smell of the already prepared food your mother must’ve had something to do with that. Sitting yourself down on the kitchen island counter you happily watched as Killian prepared the meals. Such swift movements everything he did had a purpose and you had never seen anyone cook like that before. “Wow... it smells amazing and looks amazing and I bet it tastes amazing. “ watching the tips of his ears turn dark green at your compliments you smiled cheekily and kept going. “And earlier today with the other hoard you were so brave and so confident!! Without you there who knew what might’ve happened. Thank you” Smiling wider you slid down off the counter and snaked your arms as best as you could around his stomach. He was so warm and soft honestly you didn’t want this hug to end.

Shaking his head and laughing softly Killian reached back and gently patted the top of your head. “Foods ready.. “ with those two words you scurrying off to the table grabbing utensils and plates as you went. “Here dig in “ placing the food down in front of you, you swore you were in a fairytale. “I-I hope you like it!”

“Like it??? No no no dear sweet Killian I will love it !!!” Chowing down with no mercy the poor food never stood a chance against your appetite. Shaking your head and groaning at the first few bites. “This is so good oh my gods.. I. Killian please become a chef this is sooooo good” it didn’t take long for the food to be cleaned up minus a few small leftovers for your parents. Then came the dishes and the last little bits of tidying up.

“Thank you for today i-it was really fun and I enjoyed t-the company and confidence you gave me.. “ Killian’s voice was soft and hushed, humming in agreement you found yourself leaning on his arm and closing your eyes. So much work and so much food made a great combination for making yourself tired.

“No no thank you.. today was really lovely and don’t even get me started on the food. It was divine truly fit for a royal family. “ leaning on him more Killian smiled softly at your tired state. He gently took you to the couch and sat along side you. Holding you to his chest you both felt sleep overtaking you.

A few hours went by with you two curled up on the couch sleeping peacefully until your parents gently woke you up. “Killian needs to get going come on you two time to get up..” your mother’s soft voice angered you, you didn’t want to move nor get up. Grumbling something incoherent you turned away from her and buried your face in the strong shoulder you’ve been using as a pillow. A deep rumbling groan came from Killian as he woke from his sleep.

“O-oh I’m so sorry I can move them.. here. I didn’t mean to fall asleep like that I’m so so sorry. “ killians voice was soft as he apologized. Using such care in moving your rag doll like body onto the couch more properly without him there. “Your left overs are cooling on the counter! Just reheat them in the oven ! A-again I’m so sorry!” Your parents laughed softly and reassured Killian it was alright and wishing him safe travels.

Now your parents were growing scared who and how would you choose? Ellera was so sweet and would be good to keep you in check, Oridan was kind and would make you feel as stunning as you are and Killian well hes just a sweetheart what more do they need to say about that. Tomorrow’s your choosing day. Who will you choose?

You woke up this morning feeling pumped after your date with Ellera. Knowing the siblings constantly tried to out do one another you had some higher expectations for Oridan. Sure he was a flirt but could he walk the walk or simply talk the talk. You’d have to find out and maybe today you’d dress a little nicer than your last date. Yet you had no idea what to wear, you didn’t know what Oridan planned for you. He and his sister wouldn’t tell you shit!! How were you supposed to guess if you were mountain climbing or going to the nice tavern. You weren’t. The element of surprise you were told whenever you asked, frankly you didn’t mind but you just wanted to know how to dress.

Deciding on a more formal article of clothing you fixed up your hair and wore a few jewels to maybe match Oridans aura. Maybe he might not show up? What if he got cold feet maybe his sister scared him off. Would you make a fool of yourself? Would he hate the alone time with you? So many thoughts now raced your mind. You weren’t as nervous as you were with Ellera but, you knew her better than you did the twins. You were scared they wouldn’t like you just by yourself.. what if you talked too much or you didn’t talk at all?? Would Oridan think you’d be a good partner for the rest of his life? Would you think he would be a good partner?

“Darling Oridan is here!! Please hurry and come downstairs “ You could hear your mother’s sweet voice travel around the house. He was here early is that good or bad??? Oh you didn’t know.

Scurrying down the steps you smiled softly when you saw him. Oridan stood tall and proud with some flowers in his hand his skin much darker than Elleras. For she was mossy and soft, he was bold and dark emerald green. Truly and simply handsome with his hair braided up and decked out in the finest of jewels, you felt appropriately dressed this time! Success.

“I picked these for you nearly died by some hornets.. but for you I’d happily go through hell and back if you so wished” A true words man your date hadn’t even begun and he was making you blush. Maybe this won’t be as bad as you thought.

“You’re too sweet.. thank you they are beautiful and I know any of you would do that for me.. did you get any boo boos you want kissed better” laughing a bit at your own comeback as you gently took the flowers from his hand and put them in a vase. His face grew a beautiful shade of dark green as he rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly. “Now where are we going ? “ maybe this time you’d get lucky and learn what was happening for your date!

Oridan smiled softly showing off his tusk bands as he took your hand. “We are going out to lunch than to a show later on today I hope that’s alright with you “ His confidence seemed to falter as he spoke almost as though he was worried that you wouldn’t like his plans.

“That sounds absolutely wonderful! I look forward to what kind of show you have in mind” He actually told you! You know what’s happening, at least now you can plan your actions and thoughts a little better now. “Which tavern are we going to?” There were two in your village and one closer to the edge of the village.

“Hmm oh we’re going to the Drunken Dragon it’s a little far but the food there is to die for and they have the best desserts and I figured you might not have been there yet. “ You held his hand tighter smiling wider as you felt all giddy. He was so kind this was certainly a side you hadn’t seen from him before yet.

“It does sound lovely my mouth is already watering at the thought!! I’ve always heard the food is really good, isn’t it run by a few of the fae I’ve heard they had the best cheesecake in the kingdom !! “ You laughed a bit as you mumbled on about how much you couldn’t wait to try their desserts. Oridan smiled softly listening to your enthusiastic voice talk about all sorts of different sweets. He’d have to keep that you have a sweet tooth in mind, oh how he could listen to you speak for hours and never grow tired of listening.

“Good I’m glad you’re just as excited as I am. Frankly I was worried this wouldn’t go all that well after Ellera bragged so much. I’m glad my feet didn’t grow cold” You held his hand tighter knowing how he felt. Nodding and humming in agreement with his words you were glad he came though. You’re really enjoying your time together.

“Here I know a little shortcut to get there quicker, do you trust me ?”

“Hmm well seeing of how you were such a brave boy with those hornets to get me such lovely flowers.. I trust you. “ Oridan smiled and picked you up carefully and held you close. He’s probably feeling a little jealous that Ellera had gotten to carry you but, you don’t mind it’s nice being carried. Watching as the trees flew past your face Oridan ran almost full speed and barely broke a sweat it amazed you at how he was so nimble and graceful. “So how short is this short cut?”

Laughing a bit breathlessly Oridan smirked as he set you down. “Short. We’re here “ you stated up at him in amazement completely in awe at his speed.

“Wow.. that really was short and you barely.. broke a sweat how’d you do that ??? “ Oridan laughed and gently wrapped his arm around your waist as he walked you to the doors of the tavern opening the door and letting you in first.

“I’ve got stamina honey bee” He said with a wink leaving you a blushing mess as you hid your face in your hands for a moment. Composing yourself you smacked his arm though you’re sure it felt nothing more than a fly landing on him.

“We are in public you can’t make remarks like that!! Oridan!” Staining up at him bright red you felt everyone’s eyes on you. He only laughed a bit as he ruffled your hair.

“Relax no one here pays attention to couples except for Mama Alicia she keeps the kids all in check for such a small woman she has so much anger, it’s terrifying. “ Shaking his head Oridan lead you to a table more in the back and farther away from the more rowdy customers. It was a nice tavern perfect for eating in the middle of the day or drinking the night away. Mama Alicia did a good job.

“What can I get for you two huns?” A small woman with curly bright orange hair waddled her way over to your table. She seemed so sweet with her rosy cheeks and small accent.

“I’ll have- “ Oridan tried to order first giving you some more time to decide on what you wanted. Everything seemed so good you couldn’t decide between the Thief’s stew or the adventurers breakfast! They both had everything you liked plus a side of fruit of your choice!!

“Manners boy!! Dates first I thought I taught you better Oridan. You should most certainly know that by now. Always fawnin over them and treatin them like royalty when you serve them yet now with one of em in front of ya you forget everything I taught you !! Disgrace a shame. “ smacking Oridan with mighty force Mama Alicia made her point quite clear. Turning back to you a sweet smile on her face as if she hadn’t tried to murder your date with a small booklet. “Now what can I get for you hun. “

“Oh I can’t pick between these two.. do you think you can help me? “ She had a wider smile as she looked at your choices. You’d be a perfect fit for Oridan in her mind you’d keep him in check and on the right path.

“Of course, they both have great qualities but if you’re going out again after this I suggest the breakfast over the stew that will keep you full for days and if you want dessert after. “ Making your choice you kept with the breakfast while Oridan got the knights feast. Waddling away Mama Alicia got to your orders and brought you some freshly made berry juice.

“I told you. Little woman lotta rage. Scary thing she is. “ Laughing a little you couldn’t help but check his arm for any bruises you swore that woman could’ve taken his arm off if she wanted to. “I’m fine honey bee but I do feel all flattered you’re worried for me. “ smirking a bit to hide his nerves as you checked his arm. You felt his skin grow warm under your touch and it was nice.

“So you work here? I thought you would’ve been off working as a blacksmith with how you carved that blade.” Satisfied with your check of his arm you pulled away and glanced up at his face. Admiring his chocolate brown eyes for maybe a little too long than you intended.

“Hmm oh I do work as a blacksmith just up in the strong hold with my uncle down here I work to gain a few extra coin to treat myself or to treat someone else.. I haven’t had the chance to do the second until now and I must say it’s very nice I’d be happy to treat you again.. “ Your face went red as you shook your head, scarfing down your drink trying not to say something that could get you far more embarrassed. Yet you wanted to, you hadn’t felt confident in saying things on your mind before. Nows as good a time as any.

“Hmm picking up an extra job for little old me you’re too kind and maybe I like being treated by you.. “ You added your own little wink and smirk mimicking Oridans own actions. You couldn’t hold your laughter in Oridan nearly spit his drink out his nose! He wasn’t ready for you to make such a comeback!

“Honey bee now where did that come from ? I’m not complaining but wow I think I’m rubbing off on you “ you only laughed more as he tried to recover, suddenly realizing how loud you were you quickly quieted yourself down. Oridan loved your laugh it was like sweet music to his ears he loved hearing you laugh so hard you’d snort. Staring at you with such love in his eyes he truly hoped you chose him.

“Oh foods here.. wow that’s a lot of food” Mama Alicia smiled as she placed down your plates of food then waddling over to Oridan and giving him his plates. “Thank you so much Mama Alicia!” You couldn’t wait to dig in. It smelt so good and your mouth was watering.

“Enjoy huns “ she refilled your drinks and left you be. You could be polite and not eat your weight right now in front of your date but, you were with an orc the last thing he’d do is judge you for how and what you ate.

“Hey can you take these? I don’t really like them.” You handed over some vegetables you weren’t really fond of and his face seemed to light up that you were sharing your food with him. Nodding his head he easily scarfed them down. Impressed at watching you devour your own food.

“Where’d you fit all that you have the stomach of an orc honey bee. “ laughing softly as he stole some of your food which got him a smack to his hand and a mighty glare. Laughing more Oridan pulled out his coin sack and left a handful down on the tables edge when you were both done.

“I have a large appetite thank you very much. How’d you know.. right you work here you must have everything memorized strange man” Getting up from your seat you smiled as you waited for him. Oridan smiled more as he wrapped an arm around your waist leading you out of the tavern then it struck him you missed your show time.

“Oh I’m so sorry I got so caught up I completely forgot what time we were supposed to be there “ By this point you had completely forgotten about the show having too much fun with Oridan.

“Hey hey it’s okay!! I had fun anyways I like spending time with you besides there’s always another time. I suppose we should start heading home it looks like a storms coming soon. “ Nodding his head a bit relieved you weren’t upset for missing the show Oridan lead you home parting ways with a soft kiss to your cheek. Once he left you rushed to your room all giddy flopping on your bed and kicking your feet. Your expectations for Killian were set high.

You couldn’t wait for tomorrow.

It was the middle of the week Monday and Tuesday flew by for you knew what was to come this Wednesday. Ellera had promised you that she would take you first given how you two were the first to court before the boys came along. You were beyond excited you couldn’t wait to see what she had planned. Maybe she’d share some of her battle stories! Or maybe you two could go pick some berries !! You didn’t know what you getting into but you were beyond excited.

Your mother and father noticed the change in your mood immediately you were much happier and better rested since the siblings confessed to you. It made your mother’s heart swell with joy to see you so happy. Your father however had a few concerns regarding how would this all work if you couldn’t choose?? Would they really have to go through a fight so brutal the others wouldn’t be able to get back up ? Maybe when the time came he could give you a gentle nudge towards the right Orc. Your mother slid her way over to where you were working and gently placed a hand on your shoulder. “It’s just me love, now shouldn’t you be getting ready for a date? “ Your mother was cautious never crossing your boundaries and always letting you know if she was going to hug you or simply place a hand on your shoulder.

You previously had some bad run ins with a few others in town so she took her time to be careful with things like this. Jumping a little at her sudden voice “ oh dear you’re right !!! Damn when did she say she was coming before high noon ???? Oh no thanks mom bye mom “ You thought you had more time! You’ve been up since sunrise and barely even checked the time. Too happy for what you were waiting to happen you almost forgot it was happening. Quickly rushing off to your room you cleaned off your clothes and did up your hair deciding that you looked good enough. Ellera would never judge how you dressed nor looked she’s made that very clear before.

Rushing back downstairs you were bursting with happiness. Bouncing on your heels excitedly as you waited for her. Your mother laughed softly as she took your fathers hand and lead him out to the gardens to allow you some privacy. Then you heard it, the three softest most gentle knocks. Scrambling to the door you nearly ran right into Elleras chest. “Woah there little lamb! Nearly took me down mighty impressive there hm. Excited are we?” She looked beautiful words couldn’t even describe her beauty. She wore a simple dress with leather decor and details her hair was loose minus a braid here and there with all her beads. Trailing your eyes down resting perfectly in the centre of her chest was your necklace. It tied her look all together and she just stole your breath. You were starting to feel under dressed for the occasion now.

“Sorry.. I guess I am really excited I’ve never been on a date before especially with someone who’s so goddess like” Seeing her blush that beautiful dark green your personal goal had been met. “ what do you have planned for us today ?” Looking up at her with your big doe eyes and your sweet smile. Ellera thought you looked stunning you didn’t need fancy clothes or jewels to make yourself look elegant. Shifting to the side she held out her arm waiting for your next move.

“It’s a surprise.. I can’t reveal my tricks just yet “ Her heart was hammering like a thousand war drums in her chest when you took her arm. Linking your arms together you felt so small beside Ellera but yet so powerful. Whining softly at not being able to know you could feel her chuckle run through your arms and shake your feet. “Hush now none of that you’ll love it I promise. “

Ellera was always one to keep her promises, so you truly must be in for a far greater treat than you are in now. Walking along the village paths you started to grow weary you had to be in this area after the incident. Your grip tightened on Elleras arm as she lead you to the bakery. You haven’t been able to visit here in months!! If you wanted something your parents would have to go for you. Shaking your head softly you felt your nerves settle a bit. Ellera can and will protect you, you’ll be fine.

“We just need to get a few things than our date can really start pick what you want I’ll get some drinks” Ellera laughed at your eagerness to be in the bakery and how your mouth watered at everything you saw. She grabbed a small barrel of water and sweet lemonade. “Have you picked yet??” You almost wanted to say the whole shop but you decided on your absolute favourite berry tarts and danishes.

“Yes okay I’m ready!! Now will you tell me where and what we’re doing ??” You held Elleras hand and your basket of goodies in the other more confidently walking down the path now. Once more you were denied the knowledge of what was happening until you reached the tree orchard. What were you two doing here? This place was usually crowded with Fae and Centaurs collecting the sweeter apples barely ripe for picking. Where was everyone. “How did you.. get this place so clear??”

Ellera smiled and shook her head. “Little lamb I’m the best huntress my stronghold has seen I have many favours I can call in. For you I used three I would use all of them if you so wished.” Your face was bright red at how sincere and sweet her words were. She did this just for you.. you could cry. “Come we’re almost there.. “ She lead you to a little shady spot beneath one of the grand apple trees. There lay a blanket a few gems some wires and tools and a bouquet of wild flowers. “I figured maybe we could have a picnic and you could show me how to wrap like this” She spoke as she pointed to her necklace. Setting the drinks down and taking the basket from your hands she smiled nervously at your expression.

“I.. I’d love to. This is so beautiful.. Ellera th-thank you.. I truly don’t have words this is all just so.. I love it” At your words you could see her relax, she thought maybe she did too much. You of course weren’t an orc and weren’t used to big and boisterous things. You took her hand and lead her to the blanket and sat together. “Okay get the gem you want to use and grab the wire you want “ your voice was so soft as you guided her in your little knowledge of wire wrapping. Her hands were so much bigger than your own it surprised you at how gentle she was and how well she could do such intricate details like this. “And then at the back you make a knot to seal it all in and you’re done”

It was beautiful she wrapped a small piece of amethyst and with the loops she made she laced through some leather and tied it around your neck. “There.. now we can match” You felt your heart flutter as you smiled more. “Let’s dig in after all that I’m starving. What did you pick out for us little lamb?” Completely brushing the sweet moment aside Ellera went straight for your foods!! Oh no you need to protect the pastries!

Racing along side her hands you snatched the basket. “Excuse me there miss I believe there’s a name written on these with the words do not eat Ellera.” snickering softly you held the basket close to your chest. Ellera held an all knowing smirk as she crossed her arms. She was challenging you. “I will be so kind as to share if you can guess this correctly. “

“Oh aye rumplestitskin there ive guessed now hand them over!! “ she tried reaching once more but you were too quick. Or so you thought.. there Ellera sat with a sweet tart in hand happily munching away. “ it appears I guessed right!”

“What how did you do that !!! I had this basket guarded with my life! “ You squawked a bit when Ellera pulled you into her side sharing her tart with you. “ I suppose this makes up for your crimes. “ glancing up at her you couldn’t hold it you started to laugh. She looked at you confused which only added to your laughter. Such an elegant woman covered in berries. “Here... here let me get that... “ she looked like she had just won a pie eating competition and then got told there was more pie to eat! Taking a cloth you gently wiped her face clean your laughter dying down. “There.. though I do think berries suit you “

“Mmm berries suit me Hmm? “ dipping her fingers in the filling she then smeared them on your cheek. Now it was her turn to laugh. “ no no little lamb.. berries suit you better!!” You joined in on her laughing once more definitely best date you’ve had.

You two sat together till sunset sharing stories wrapping gems. Smearing tarts over each others faces like silly face paint it was truly lovely and you never wanted this to end. “We should get back you still need to get back to your stronghold..” Ellera hummed as she pulled your head from her lap and picked you up. “W-wait what about our things ??? Ellera I’m able to walk myself “ She ignored your words and held you closer to her chest.

“My third favour the fae can have whatever they choose from the stones we made to clean this up. I told you lamb.. now shut your eyes I can tell your tired I promise you’ll be returned to family safely. “ Her promise was kept your father let her inside and allowed Ellera to take you to your bed. You woke up just slightly when she placed you back down on your bed. About to protest until you felt her soft lips on your forehead. “Goodnight my little lamb..” you waited until you heard no more footsteps before getting changed into your night ware and going back to bed with your dreams filled of Ellera.

You couldn’t wait for tomorrow now what would Oridan have in store for you?

An Orcs Promise

You lived in a simple and small village in the middle of a valley not too far from a forest of fae, an ocean filled with water dwellers, a stronghold of orcs up in the mountains and a field of centaurs.

Everything was about a days trip away by horse, by foot it was typically two to three days worth of travel. It was worth it however, your village thrived with the amount of trading that was available to them. Fae providing seed and saplings already in growth, the water dwellers granting you safe travel or bountiful baskets of fish, the centaurs allowing land share for your crops and the orcs, they provided live stock and hunting goods as well as strong work hands. Doing things you humans couldn’t really do.

You lived a simple life in your simple village as a woodsmith not exactly what it’s called but you liked the title. No you couldn’t do blacksmithing it just didn’t suit you unlike it did your father and gardening/crop tending didn’t feel right like it did for your mother. So you turned to wood, of course you helped your parents but you just preferred to stick to your own, like carving or maybe the occasional building and repairing. Because of your skills you were often called ‘too manly’ and your parents were told “good luck marrying you off” however they didn’t want to do that, you’re too helpful around the shops and farm.

Your mother is a fae and your father is a human giving you some funny features and hair. Your eyes seemed like they could shift colour and you had magic freckles that disappeared with the sun. Long and wild hair that couldn’t be tamed. Your mother always made sure to call you beautiful and your father always made sure to teach you how to throw a punch. But enough of all this back story let’s talk about how three of your favourite orcs are battling in your families shop.

The twins and their older sister going full throttle displaying their strength wits and ability to strategize. It had started off as any other Saturday you were in your own shop your mother in the fields and your father in his shop. You were working on a carving to trade with one of the centaurs for a spot on their bountiful fields to grow a few trees for your upcoming project. A place of your own. You were ready to move out and start new, of course you didn’t want to leave your parents but they’ve been leaving a few hints here and there. They were ready to let you go and fly from the nest. Cheesy as that sounds that’s just how your parents are.

Heavily lost in your work until a soft moss green hand lifted your chin to face her. Ellera the eldest of the three Thundered, you always giggled at their last name but it made sense they sounded like a thunder storm when they all came roaming around.

Your face went bright red as you jumped from surprise. “Oh Ellera!!!! It’s good to see you, sorry I just got lost in my own world again.. what can I help you with?” Your voice was soft as you set your things down and put your full attention onto the orcess in front of you.

“Well my lamb you could start by getting me mother some of those boards for hackin as well as rod for the seas “ Her voice was strong and full of power with a heavy accent but it always held some softness just for you. Smiling brightly as you grabbed a few different types of cutting boards and chopping blocks for Ellera to pick from. Lastly was your prized fishing rod, carved from the finest tree you ever saw. Your best handy work.

“Take your pick! The thicker the block the more force it can handle. And this is the best of the best in my shop, just for you.” Smiling so sweet you would cause a cavity as you watched her face grow a darker shade of green. It was always your own personal mission to make Ellera blush you couldn’t help it. She was just perfect no matter what she did or how she did it.

“So you make these boards like yourself mm ??? The thicker the more you can handle~” Waltzing up beside Ellera was the older of the twins Oridan the flirtatious goof. Now it was your turn once more to blush bright in the face. Ellera on the other hand scoffed as she smacked him upside the head.

“Hasn’t mother taught ya manners you ass.” Ellera rolled her eyes but was her brother wrong? Lastly to join your conversation Killian the youngest of the family. As well as the smallest but compared to you he was still a giant. They all had tree trunk thighs, gorgeous muscles, beautifully braided and decorated hair and ears. Tribal tattoos that littered every inch of their body you wished to explore. Now now reel those thoughts back in.. “as you were saying lamb which is best for meat and which for vegetables “

Drawing you back from your thoughts you shook your head. “This one has thicker boards and the grain is going this way meaning it’ll absorb the force. Better for meats and such. This one is thinner with grain this way meaning it’s better for slicing and all” you could talk about this stuff for hours but you didn’t want to bore the siblings.

“Then we’ll get them” Ellera spoke so kindly as she took the boards under her arm and into her satchel. You knew the rest of their family would prefer to pay as one rather than separately and possibly underpaying your family. No overpaying wasn’t their issue they were happy to do so, it was possibly underpaying you that they worried about. Your family always took good care of them when they needed, the first of your village to show them such kindness and hospitality.

“Oh Ellera here I have something for you.” Gingerly taking the orcesses hand in your own you lead her to your little safe. Digging around the box for a moment you found what you were searching for. A beautiful hand crafted obsidian necklace. You knew orcish traditions you knew this was you asking Ellera to court you. “It’s obsidian, it’s too heavy of a stone for me so I thought you would like it. W-Will you accept..”

“You know what this means correct??” You were no dummy of course you knew, so you gently nodded your head. “Of course l will it’s beautiful thank you my lamb.” Ellera smiled brightly and turned to her brothers with an all knowing smirk. “ suck it losers I have won!!!!! My dearest little lamb had chosen me. Now butt out of the shop before I take both of your heads and put them on a platter. “ You couldn’t help but snicker a bit at her words, it’s just how she was with those two.

Now this leads us to where we are at the moment. Ellera taking off her satchel and her necklace before brawling it out with her brothers. You hadn’t known the twins also had an eye for you, looking around your shop there stand their parents with your own. All of them had the what the hell happened and is going on look. You could only smile sheepishly as you weaved your way through the mass of limbs colliding with one another. “So I’ve asked Ellera if we could court per orcish tradition and I didn’t even know the twins had a thing for me. And now their battling it out because the twins think Ellera had an unfair advantage and can you please stop them before they break anything in my shop??? Oh and Mrs. Thundered I had Ellera pick out some lovely cutting boards and butchers blocks for you !! “ The orc parents laughed and shook their heads at your little story. They can deal with all this after they save your shop from being ripped apart.

Mrs. Thundered grabbed Ellera with most of her might and tossed the girl over her shoulder. While Mr. Thundered grabbed the two boys and held them apart like bickering cats. “Now before you break this lovely shop why the hell are you all fighting. I swear we raised you better than to fight inside. “ Mrs. Thundered spoke sternly as she glared at all of her children. Collecting all the items they have picked out you rang them up while the parents took their kids outside and had a much different conversation than in the shop.

It took maybe twenty minutes of waiting before the orc family came back inside. The boys a flustered mess and Ellera grumpily huffing and sighing as her mother held her back. “Boys. Go. “ you laughed a bit at how large they were compared to you but yet in this moment they seemed so small. “Boys.” Her tone was much sterner maybe the sternest you had ever heard. Tilting your head up to the twins you smiled softly .

“W-Will you accept our own courting gifts.. and by the end of the courting months you can pick who wish to be with the most. “ it was Killian who spoke which surprised you he was always so shy and cautious of his words.

“I mean it’ll obviously be me.. I don’t even know why we have to wait months! Right sugar ???” Oridan made you laugh as he nudged his brother aside to hand you his gift. A simply terribly carved handle but with a beautiful dagger blade attached. You had no idea how he even managed to do such small carvings in the metal. “I know the handle isn’t pretty but I thought maybe you would help me with that.. “ now all of a sudden his loud and boisterous self was no more than just like his twin.

Killian however seemed a bit more confident with his gift a beautiful fur lined cloak. You had no idea he could sew.. “Boys these are both beautiful in their own ways.. but Ellera..?? How would it work what if I can’t choose ? What will happen then ? A fight to the death? “ Ellera nodded and pulled out her own gift she didn’t need to give it to you but she wanted to. Just to out shine her brothers once more. It was a crystal vase with preserved flowers encased inside.

“It wouldn’t be to the death just to where the other two can no longer rise to their feet. Any other orc yes to the death. “ Oridan spoke up once more, you loved all of them but you never thought the twins were interest in you Oridan maybe but, that was just you thinking he was joking. “So please.. will you accept?”

“I will, all three of us can court each other. Until then you need to work on your wood skills how did you not loose a finger and Krillian this is gorgeous I didn’t know you could sew like this. Ellera of course this is gorgeous but what if it breaks ?? What if I shatter it ???? “ The orcess simply laughed and shook her head.

“It can’t shatter I promise hun how can I promise such a thing, well me and my big man hands made it. “ Ellera smiled willy her dark oak brown eyes shining gleefully as she started down to you. Puffing out her chest showing off her muscles it was her final display of strength before her mother dragged her off to the horses.

“I look forward to this.. I haven’t always been able to sew just with the changing seasons I thought you would get cold so I took up the skill for you. “ That immediately made your heart melt. Killian took up a whole hobby just to be able to provide for you. With his Killian getting the last day of the three siblings they all went off on their way home.

So I’m currently working on my first story !! It’s called An Orcs promise surprise it’s about orcs. But anyways a small rundown is three orc siblings are pinning after you and who will you choose? Ellera the eldest sweet but hard headed, Oridan the flirtatious goof or Killian the soft spoken and shy. The first part of the story should be out by tonight I hope!! Then it will branch into three separate parts for each of the siblings let me know what you think of the story line so far!
