Time for some original art.

So that time Semiraan got his head cut off, right? They didn't actually know it would regenerate, so Rinka had a Bad Time. While they look older, Rinka is actually only about fifteen. They look older due to their father's weird ability to manipulate his own flesh (which also extends to his offspring) but this is a teenager suddenly holding their father's disembodied head.

You know, just a little trauma, as a treat.

At least they'd discussed the possibility beforehand, so they knew to try putting him back together, but Rinka definitely had a moment there.

Admittedly, at the time Semiraan was wearing his battle mask and I doubt Rinka was barefoot on the battlefield, but I wanted the face showing and also I hate drawing shoes. Maybe Rinka took the head back to the lab before collapsing.

(Not pictured: Yaharan trying to wrangle Semiraan's body somewhere in the background, while the body is in full blender mode. The augment on Semiraan's chest keeps his heart beating even without a head, which they hadn't considered, and his regeneration kept the blood from just pumping out.)

Have a Schuldig to go with Farfarello. They do tend to come as a pair.

While Schuldig isn't as much of a favourite as Farfarello is, I do still love this asshole a lot. His canon design actually has really long lash lines, so I decided to keep that here. Eyeliner suits him anyway.

You know this guy is always grinning like he knows something you don't. Mostly because he does. That telepathy comes in handy like that.

Like the Farfarello sketch, I don't think this quite covers what I imagine him to look like, but it does come pretty close. The way I imagine Schuldig, he's quite good looking but has that hint of unhinged-ness to him. Attractive, but there's just something not right about him.

Sooo ... About that "fanart of old terrible faves" thing...

Never going to improve if I don't do, right? Decided on tackling Farfarello as my victim, because of the characters on my "I love these awful people" list, he probably has the simplest design. Just a pale, white-haired guy with a bunch of scars and an eyepatch.

I tried to use some of the traits of his anime art, like the shape of his eye and general face shape, as well as his mouth. Farfarello has quite prominent lips compared to the rest, so I had to keep that in. Is this completely how I imagine him? No. But it's pretty close as far as my style goes, and I do think I captured that complete look of disinterest he usually has when he's not stabbing people.

I imagine Farfarello as pretty angular based on the shape of his face, but also because I can't imagine he actually bothers to eat as much as he should be. Especially since he spends a lot of time restrained. He's fairly muscular, but I don't think he has much subcutaneous fat to soften his face.

It's a sad state when the "kills people as revenge against God" assassin is probably the least awful person on the list. Like yes, he does a lot of murder (though this is a show about assassins so everyone does a murder), but he's downright friendly next to most of the other people on the list. I'd say Farfarello is classified as "high chance of murdering you but not going to be a dick about it". Unlike Muraki, who is low chance of murder but high chance of dickery. Or Kefka, who is high chance of both murder and dickery. (Mayuri is on a different scale entirely where it's "probably won't randomly murder you unless you're scientifically interesting but will definitely break seven human rights treaties before lunch".)
