Please help me and my family in Gaza

​My name is Ashram, and I’m reaching out to help my nephew Wasim and his family, who are enduring unimaginable suffering in Gaza. Please take a moment to read his wife Shorouq’s heartfelt plea: In October, the war forced Shorouq, her husband Wasim, and their two young children, Abdul Kareem (4) and Hiyam (3), to flee their home in Gaza. They repeatedly sought shelter, moving from a UNRWA center to a relative's home, and then to another UNRWA shelter in Khan Younis as threats of a ground invasion grew. ​Life in the shelters was a struggle for survival. They faced severe overcrowding, and a lack of food, clean water, and proper sanitation. The winter brought freezing cold and illness to their children. After the shelter was bombed, they fled again, this time to central Gaza, where they lived in a makeshift tent with no protection from the harsh weather. ​With no source of income, they eventually returned to Gaza City after the ceasefire, only to find their home and community completely devastated. Basic necessities are now scarce and unaffordable. Shorouq is pleading for help to provide her family with food, clean water, and essential supplies to keep her children alive amidst the collapsed infrastructure and desperate conditions.
