Just been sitting here thinking about Gquuuuuux as I often do on Tuesdays and I’m just realizing how Kycilia gave Nyaan a gun to kill others, Chalia gave Machu a gun to defend herself. Chalia encourages Machu’s freedom while Kycilia preys on Nyaan’s loneliness.

Both of the adults offer the girls the thing they want the most, for Machu, it’s freedom after feeling smothered by her family & school. Chalia lets her go to Earth, lets her do clan battle rather than taking the gquuuuuux back, etc., he explains things as an equal and allows her to choose what’s best for her.

Nyaan lost her home in a very traumatising manner and desperately craves a new one. Kycilia directly tells her she’ll have just that if she makes a Zeknova. Both get their pilots to do what they want, just different approaches.

Also note Kycilia is grooming Nyaan metaphorically and literally in this scene as she does her hair. I love subtle shit like this.

Finished my fifth Gunpla kit - MG RX-9 Narrative Gundam C-Packs Ver. Ka

This kit is simply marvellous. Had lots of fun assembling and decorating it. Really liked making scratched silver deactivated psychoframe and armor weathering.

It's nice to see Gundam U.C. ENGAGE Char's Counterattack animate Char's last words from Beltorchika's Children:

Two small differences from the manga is the photo in the manga only has Artesia in it;

and in ENGACE, it's Arteisa and Casval like the Zeta photo he had on his desk.

And i think his words are slightly different too. More apologetic in this version? Someone who knows Japanese will have to correct me on this one.
