Damon smiled lightly. “Nothing. ” He read the program paper hanging on the wall. ” What do you want to see?”
“That smile says it’s something,” Elena said. She wrapped her arm around her waist and looked up the program. “Well we could go see some of the animals or go to the theme park. Your choice,” she smiled.
"Yeah but that stays hidden so far.",he grinned and watched two little kids walk by. " Nope it's your choice. You're the lady and I brought you here...so?"
What if he offered her a swim with the dolphins? Later maybe,he thought and dragged her further.
Elena looked away from the dolphins and up at Damon. “What?” she asked and started following him in the direction he was walking.
Damon smiled lightly. "Nothing. " He read the program paper hanging on the wall. " What do you want to see?"
Damon was really sensitive for Elena’s feelings. Somehow he knew that she hadn’t got the best relationship with water anymore. “Would you swim with them?”,he asked curious.
Elena pursed her lips together for a second, “I don’t know. Maybe,” she said.
"Hmmm." What if he offered her a swim with the dolphins? Later maybe,he thought and dragged her further.
He smiled at her and looked around. Damon dragged her with him in the direction of dolphins. ” I love these. They seem so…peacefull.”
Elena followed quickly behind Damon and crept down by the pool. “They do,” she said. If water wasn’t the cause of her death she would she could just live in it. Before she found water so peaceful, but now it had a feeling of chaos mixed into it now that she wasn’t sure she’d ever be able to get over.

Sure, Vampire Barbie and his little brother would be a pain in their neck as soon as they got back. But Damon was used to such things, but not Elena. And he was a bit worried, but he’d do anything to distract Elena from their judgements. And maybe,maybe maybe he could at least try to show their friends that Damon would never hurt Elena. But when it came to his brother…Stefan probably will never forgive him.

“Hmmmm.”,Damon murmurmed with a smile on his lips. “I could get used to this.” Somehow it still felt like a dream. ” I love you,too.” He softly caressed her hands with his thumb and placed a soft kiss on her lips. It was hard to hold back all the joy he felt. It was like he came home. And he definitely wouldn’t let her go. Ever.
“Me too,” Elena said and placed another quick kiss on his lips. It might take her a while, but this vacation was definitely helping her. She knew that when they both got back into Mystic that there would be some judgement. Judgement that she didn’t need or want.

Being ill sucks
