I VISITED KYLE!

So, you guys, I was saving money for months (!!) just so I could visit Kyle in Cali. At first I wanted to visit him on his birthday, but unfortunatelly, he was busy with finals back then. But I am good boyfriend, so I planned my visit few weeks later.

We had an amazing time, went sightseeing a lot, ate a lot (even that god forsaken microwavable lasagna, I was too lazy to cook something), had a trip to the beach aaaand had a lot of alone time, because Kyle’s roommate went home earlier ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

I’m so happy, you guys! This is truly the month of love. With that I wish you HAPPY PRIDE MONTH EVERYONE! Even though it’s almost the end of the month...

Do you have something like "your song", the song about your relationship?

Eric: Hmmm… “Our song”…

Eric: There are many songs that remind me of Kyle and/or our relationship. I actually made a playlist of “our” songs, if you will. Here are some examples.

Eric: Jewdas. For obvious reasons. I’d die for Gaga, man…

Eric: This one’s I Swear. Aah… what an iconic song of our relationship.

Eric: This one… is very unusual, but holds very special place in my heart. It’s Little Things by 1D, bUT BEFORE you start judging me, hear me out. There’s story behind it.

Eric: Believe it or not I… may or may not have a thing for boybands. And Kyle knows it. For our first anniversary, he learned how to play this song on the guitar and sang it to me in front of everybody! It was so romantic! It made me fall in love with him even more. And I thought that was not even possible.

Eric: …

If I’m being honest, the thought had crossed my mind. It was a big issue especially at the beginning, we’ve even considered breaking up out of fear that the distance will ruin everything. But so far, everything has worked out, so I’m not really worried about it anymore. I don’t know, I guess we’re both too stubborn to let each other go.

What American poets do you like to read, Kyle? And, Eric, - what do you think about poetry? And... what do you think about Russian poetry? Have you ever read some Russian authors? Thank you so much!

Unfortunately, I’m not the biggest fan of poetry out there. I never fully understood the appeal. The only poet whose works I can remember being impressed by is Ezra Pound, but he was a British poet.

I wasn’t really interested in poems ‘til I played DDLC. But instead of reading, I sometimes write them to let some steam off. It really helps. Especially with all of my issues…. That’s what Doki Doki taught me. 

Anyways, moving on. I don’t really know any russian writers beside Alexander Pushkin. But that’s only because I’ve been to see Tchaikovsky’s opera Eugen Onegin. So…. no, I’m not that much into russian poems. Sorry, brah.

Hey there, we’re glad you enjoy our blog! It’s actually not that much of a big deal, once you learn how to live with it. I just remember to take my insulin regularly, I watch my diet and meals, and such.
