Is there anything you wish you’d done differently?

A lot of things. I don’t know how much could have changed, but at the very least, I would have tried to be on better terms with my…..with the Parkers. I wouldn’t have tried to steal May’s identity. I wouldn’t have been so gung-ho about killing….

Maybe I would have tried getting closer to everyone, though I honestly don’t know how much would have changed. Wish I had the chance to try though.

If you ever meet venom,your technically other parents what would you do?

I….honestly don’t know. I’ve thought about it, countless times, over the years, but I don’t have any idea what I would do or say. My relationship with the Parkers was near abysmal, so the only thing I would hope to do is not ruin another relationship….

Origins: pt. 1

I supposed I should tell you all a little bit about myself while I am here.

Well, to put it simply, I am a clone, much like Uncle Ben and Uncle Kaine were to Peter. Norman Osborn, or the Green Goblin as you may know him, kidnapped Peter and MJ’s daughter, Mayday, by having her be switched out with a stillborn infant.

The nurse would take care of May for a while until Norman needed her. And then, well, he made me. But he didn’t stop there, oh no. He spliced me up and made me half Symbiote from DNA he acquired from Venom.

He made me into a freak of nature, a “unique hybrid”, all for his sick plans to torture and murder Spiderman later down the line.

Mayday would eventually be found by Uncle Kaine and reunited with her parents, raised in a loving home.

I, on the other hand, was kept in the tank and in stasis while I developed. Norman intended on having me in there until I turned 21. Fortunately for me, my release came a lot earlier than that.

No, and looking back on it, knowing what I know about him now, I wish I had. Perhaps I wouldn’t have been so angry all the time. Perhaps I would have listened better. I’ll never know what kind of relationship we would have had, but I acknowledge that he was my cousin and maybe we could have had something in common.

Honestly, one of my regrets is being unable to tell MJ…to tell Mom how sorry I was. She tried her best in our very shitty situation.

So recently, I've been thinking about a Spider-Girl MC2 au where April survived the explosion (in Spider-Girl: The End), BUT her human body gets destroyed. So she gets reduced to her symbiote form and has to stick to Mayday to survive 👇

Like, I think they'd have such a fun dynamic together 💙

Not gonna lie, this would have been weird to be bonded to May. Maybe not the worst thing in the world, but still weird considering our…issues.

at a glance, it seems likely that earth-982 venom never got as far as making peace with spider-man and settling into a more anti-heroic role. the symbiote became permanently separated from eddie while they were still full-on villains and was then kept in solitary confinement for over a fucking decade.

which would really be enough to break anyone’s mind five times over. when it gets out, the symbiote still acts according to venom’s principles, it’s just, like, a touch more unhinged about it.

when the symbiote manages to forcibly rebond with a retired spider-man, there’s nothing there but the desire to completely wreck his life.

so, no matter how bad things get! they’re worse somewhere else.
