//I’ve touched upon some of these in some slight storytelling depth before, so I will link related posts to this one. This will be a general timeline of some Freljord Political events of which pertain to Ashe. Will probably be updated as the blog continues. A quick reminder that my Ashe uses mixed old and new lore (See: headcanons). Also this blog acknowledges the existence of summoners and the Institute of War.
//Some of this follows the JoJ events, but as many of the Freljord events happen TOO quickly one after the other, I may shift some dates over. This is highly subject to change as I add more to this or change this around. I’ve only quickly drafted this out.
0 CLE: Institute of War established
13 CLE: Princess Francesca, leader of the Frost Archer clan, dies in an ambush from the Winter’s Claw, Ashe assumes leader ship of the clan.
16 CLE: A land dispute between the Frostguard and Frost Archers results in a skirmish during a storm. Many on both sides are lost. Ashe survives and discovers an affinity to ice. [1|2|3]
18 CLE: A coup d'étatis attempted on Princess Ashe’s life. She flees and discovers Avarosa’s bow. The ancient article is enough of a symbol to temporarily pacify her angry tribe, dissatisfied with Ashe’s ideals and methods. Her new found bow also helps Ashe focus her ice abilities.
20 CLE: Princess Mauvole passes away (Lissandra in disguise), murders and assumes the identity of her daughter, Lissandra, on the throne, as she had been doing for centuries.
20 CLE: Lissandra swears fealty to Princess Ashe at her coronation.
20 CLE: Barbarians led by Tryndamere arrive in Freljord. Publicly, they were there to pay respects to Princess Mauvole. In private, however, Ashe had been discussing plans of an alliance between the two tribes.
20 CLE: Noxians arrive in Freljord for the Barbarian pacification campaign.
20 CLE: The Frost Archers make an official pact with Tryndamere’s barbarians. Princess Ashe and Tryndamere are named leaders of the new Avarosan Tribe.
21 CLE: Ashe begins negotiations with the Institute of War to have Freljord recognised as an official city state. This includes the signing away of the historical Howling Abyss to the IoW for the Institute to use as a Field of Justice.
21 CLE: Now an official city state under the protection of the Institute of War, the Institute demands Noxus end their Barbarian Pacification Campaign.
21 CLE: Ashe and Tryndamere wed, officially bonding their tribes via marriage. Having put this much change into motion, with the barbarians’ support of their leader, and the surprising support from the Frostguard, the combined tribe begrudgingly accept the pair as Queen and King of Freljord. Sejuani and the Winter’s Claw remain opposed to the notion. [Bonus]
