Very well. Enjoy your visit, please read the following information and note that anything is subject to change. This includes characters, information, ‘rules’, and so on.

The following askblog will contain noncanonical information and interactions that are based around preexisting canonical events and storylines. If a response depends on a particular time period within the universe that these characters reside in, it will be specified.

Events and interactions will be categorized (tagged) as canon, noncanon, or hypothetical.

Although there are preexisting canonical events and storylines, this askblog does not currently have an overarching plot. However, temporary events or subplots may still occur.

Upon a proper introduction, characters will be officially able to respond to a direct ask. Until their introduction, you can attempt to ‘summon’ them or send an ask in advance if you know the character. :)

Characters do not have set ages, but all characters shown will be over the age of 18 unless otherwise stated.

Magic anons are allowed, just don’t go *too* crazy.

Feel free to ask anything! Although I will remain open to all asks and subjects, I still reserve the right to deny an ask.

If an ask contains a subject that warrants a content/trigger warning, please add it within the ask. Responses will be tagged appropriately with said warnings. If you deem a warning necessary, please mention it.

Melody Unison, uses she/they. A carrier of both the Alexandria's Genesis mutation and the ability to hear one’s internal melody. (Status: Currently unavailable.)

Mystery Mysterium, pangender. A Nephalem, born from an angel and a demon, who shares a vessel with other celestial beings. (Status: Askable!)

Pixel Pel, uses they/it. A human-passing android that has forgotten their own past, now wasting skills to cheat at video games. (Status: Currently unavailable.)

Soot “the Narrator” [redacted], uses it/its. Cursed with the ability to manipulate anything with mere words, as a result of stealing from the Twin Deities of Creation. (Status: Askable!)

Toranagantelumront “Torana” Smith, changes pronouns with each regeneration. A Timelord who formerly worked as a First Class Archivist, now venturing through universes with a Type 54 TARDIS that is stuck looking like a Pac-Man arcade machine. (Status: Currently unavailable.)

Victor Gonzalez, uses he/him. Once a tomboy who obsessed over athletic wins, now simply a boy who obsesses over athletic wins. (Status: Currently unavailable.)

As for allergies….

Soot: People.

Izzy: Let’s see… pollen, all types of grass, all trees, weeds, molds— I’m… basically allergic to all of nature. Also quite a few medications..

Delilah: Only peppermint can damage this wondrous body!

Kristal: Certain types of metals. I can only wear gold, platinum, or silver piercings.

Bernard: Only chocolate! It tastes so good but it hurts so much…

Kristal: Bernie I swear, do not end up in the hospital again.

Kathy: It’s not an allergy, but I can’t taste sweets. I love to bake! I just… can’t completely enjoy it myself.

Gala: I’m allergic to…stardust. I found this out back when I was a child. There was a really sick monster, and unfortunately she.. she didn’t make it. See, when us monsters die, our bodies turn into stardust. It’s… beautiful, in a way, but my sinuses think otherwise.

Gala: Nova here needs stardust every once in a while to survive, so…when we go walking in the old battlegrounds, I’m always sneezing up a storm! Ha..

Ashlyn: “…At least, he used to be. I just hope he takes care of that forgetful squid of a skeleton.”

Ashlyn: “As for Spot… he’s chaotic and silly and a little bit stupid, but he means a lot to me. He was my first friend, my first and only role model—he found me when I was nothing, and he helped me become something. In a way, he’s like my older brother. I’ll forever be grateful for everything he’s done for me.”

Ashlyn lets out a nervous, high-pitched laugh. She’s red in the face and her eyes are an embarrassed peach.

Ashlyn: “Uh- Anyways I- did I mention how if that Error destroys Spot’s nonexistent heart then I’ll pummel that glitchy son of a bitch?? Hahahaa—“

Ashlyn playfully rolled her eyes as she dodged another of Yin’s horrible lines.

“Look, I’m gonna go take a nap.”

“Aw, without me?” came Yin’s dark, honeyed voice.

“Yes.”

Yin pouted and batted her eyes. Ashlyn simply sighed.

This is what I get for being snarky, she thinks, I summoned the demon.

“Goodbye, Yin.”

A wistful sigh and a ‘tsk’, “Farewell, Ashlyn.”

And she closed the door with a soft click.

A Snippet of the Past?

(You’d be surprised how traumatizing a simple question can be)

As soon as she shut the door, the memory came rushing back. It hit her like a ton of bricks, knocking the breath out of her. The memory wasn’t recent—no, it was from decades ago, long before any of this had happened, long before she and Mystery had ever met any of the others.

The two of them had always been… ageless. A celestial hybrid like him? A skewed Creation like her? Time didn’t affect them the same way it did regular humans.

She had no idea what it was at that time—she was far too young, far too naive. Far too foreign. But Mystery—no, Yin, ever the opportunist, had seen it as a chance to teach her something.

It was a simple, almost forgettable act, nothing grand or complicated. Simply fun. Simply an experience. She hadn’t even understood fully what was happening at the time—but it had happened.

Time doesn’t affect her like it does a human, and yet she still shares many characteristics with them.

But… she isn’t truly human, is she?

So what is she?

It was just couple decades ago now. No, maybe more? And yet she looks the exact same as she did then.

She doesn’t age. She’s been around for however long and she still doesn’t look a day over 25.

She can’t remember, but she saw the 60s. She fondly remembers the colors, the freedom, the trends.

But multiversal travel really messes time up. Really messes you up.

So how old is she?

As Ashlyn recalls more and more of her past yet understands less and less, she gets nervous. Her breathing quickens. With every blink, her eyes flicker between a deep, sorrowful blue and a tense, afraid black.

The more she remembers, the more she panics.

Ashlyn was leaning against the wall, trying to steady herself. Her chest was tight, her head still spinning with the memories, addition to the realization that she’d never really processed what had happened all those years ago.

She swallowed, feeling her pulse quicken.

What is she?

How old is she?

And, more importantly…

Why doesn’t she know?

Ashlyn: “Hm…”

Author’s note:

The Ink and Error with stars in the top left corner of their portraits closely resemble the Ink and Error from Ashlyn’s timeline. To minimize confusion, her Ink has been given the nickname of “Spot” and her Error has been given the nickname of “Glitch”…by Ashlyn herself. Any characters from her timeline will be given a canonical Ashlyn-given nickname, and will be referred to as such!

Additionally, I do not claim ownership of any of the shown versions of Error and Ink besides Fault, the second Error from the right.

However, Spot and Glitch will soon appear as their own characters with their own designs! Until then, credits are as followed:

Soot slaps down its piece of paper.

Soot: “I look perfectly chaotic and chaotically perfect! As usual~”

Ashlyn proudly holds up her paper.

Ashlyn: “Easyyy shit. I look amazing!”

Ashlyn turns her paper back around to admire it…Then she squints.

Ashlyn: “…Damn, one eye’s smaller than the other. Let me just fix that real quick—“

Izzy shyly slides over their paper.

Izzy: “I… never advertised I was an artist…”

Izzy’s face is slightly red with embarrassment, and they run their hand through their hair.

They mumble something about “being a writer, not an artist” before shuffling away.

Mystery simply places the paper down for inspection.

Mystery: I believe it’s been a few decades since I have drawn myself. My hair is probably my greatest feature, if I do say so myself.
