Why is it that all the TV shows with main characters who have a photographic memory (Sherlock Holmes esc), who are consultants for the police or whatever.
Why is it that they always have a really high IQ? Why not a really high EQ?
I want a show where the military find this reporter who somehow has *all* the connections. She know everything about everyone. She can get you anything because she knows a guy.
Like- she had celebrities on speed dial, she goes to coffee dates with the secretary of a billionaire CEO. Somehow shes under the no harm list of the local mafia.
And the important part is, she knows exactly what to say to make anyone trust her, everyone ows her a favored of some sort. She remembers things about people so that they feel liked.
She makes everyone around her feel welcome and trusted. So she basically manipulated the people around her to get information, for her job, for others.

But in the We talked 24/7 for five months and we told each other all out thoughts and t least I thought we had really good chemistry before you ghosted me for four months and then came back like nothing happened and now I feel only apathy towards you and what I once thought was endearing and funny only annoys me now and I wish we could go back to what we once were but I know im better than that and now I don't even know what tone I can use with you because we have a history but now we treat each other like strangers and why won't you tell me what happened

I thought i only dreamt that I wrote this
Thinking of that time where my school (an all girls religious school) did a meet where my grade met girls from another non religious school.
We met at the other school and at the reception we were kinda just sitting there, and I was sitting with my friends being very antisocial (it is what it is).
Then, I saw a girl with this really cool bag with lots of pins and stuff and I noticed she had a really cute Good Omens pin with the rain scene from the first episode.
Very quickly I went up to her and asked about it.
"Where did you get that pin from? Its really cool"
"You had to pick that one, out off all of them?" She asks apprehensive. She looked worried and I realized she thought because I was religious, she was worried I would be homophobic (which is valid, sadly)
Immediately I reassured her
"Oh no! Dont worry! I actually watched the show! And read the book"
I tell you guys, the way this girls face lit up. It was so cute, we started talking, I recommended doctor who to her, of course.
I haven't seen that girl since. We didn't talk again. But I'll always remember her fondly.
(Also her hair was really cool)

A thought i had this morning and had to share

But the girl just got dumped by her jerk jock boyfriend so she decided to date this loner as an extra fuck you to the jock.
And she is just shocked by the difference.
He doesn't have a care so they take public transport everywhere. And she thinks it's going to suck but she realizes how fun it is to spend time with while traveling- the things that they see and such.
She never realized that listening to your partner talk about their interests could *not* be annoying. Suddenly she wants to listen to this boy talk about dnd or whatever.
So yes, maybe hes not super muscular and maybe his friends don't want to do the same thing as her friends. And maybe Star Wars is not half bad, so what?
And he can't buy her the makeup she wants but he somehow still makes her feel five time prettier than she felt before.
So it wasn't a bad idea after all.
