My name is Aurora Dragonia. I'm 25 years old and I'm travelling the world of Genesia to find out what happened to my biological parents and why they left me. I was left in the care of some humans when I was a couple days old. I raised to be a human and when I was 12 I found out that I was adopted and all my parents left me was a mysterious bow named MoonSlayer. Ok, so last night I decided to head back to Gijunia and I stayed another night. Early this morning, I bought a heavy coat and started making my way towards Asqura. It's one of the largest dwarven cities resides along with it's historical mines. Some are still used today, mining metals like silver and iron.

Dwarves have a strong sense of right and wrong, so I best lay low for a couple days when I actually get there. Not saying I will do something wrong, they just might not be the most friendliest. Fingers crossed that they're nice!

Wednesday, August 14th

Late night update. I've been walking in to the woods for a while now and just realized something. I forgot that I gotta climb up a small mountain to reach the next town. I usually don't mind hikes, but the northern mountains are cold as hell and I don't have a heavy jacket. 😑

So I guess one of two things will happen. 1. I'll have to go back to Gijunia and buy one, however that will reset all the walking I've done today. 2. I'll have to freeze on the hike to the next town, which I should reach by midnight tonight, if I keep a steady pace.

So, I'm asking you guys! What do you think I should do?

Tuesday, August 13th Part 2

So, I'm walking through town right now, enjoying myslef. Most of the time, I don't usually enjoy the cities I'm in. Either I'm too busy with odd jobs or I'm at libraries and or town halls looking at records. So tonight I'm treating myself to the sights of the town.

Gijunia is very famous for its fast paced nightlife and street performers. It seems like every corner I turn there is dancers or musicians. It's actually quite nice to listen to the musicians. Ever since I was a kid, I couldn't listen to music for long periods of time since my hearing is sensitive. That and headphones wouldn't stay in my ears. But live performances are different. You can see on their faces of what the song means to them. Right now, I'm listening to an older woman with a guitar and a brighter young girl on a ukelele. It's a peaceful song.

Man, I think I'm gonna miss this town. Maybe I'll visit again soon.

Ok, so Gijunia doesn't really have anymore information about elves or anything about my parents. You know what that means?

On the road again~

I'm staying one more night before I start making my way into Dwarf territory. So that's exciting. From what I've read on their culture, they are a hard working people and very accommodating for visitors that aren't humans. Well, good thing I'm not human, right? Hahaha. So, wish me luck!!

Well, its now Sunday and this library hasn't had any information on my family. But I have learned that elves receive powers in early adulthood! Isn't that cool?! Now, I'm 25 years old and I haven't noticed anything magical about myself. Unfortunately, the book didn't really go into depth of this, so that sucks. But, I'm going to stay positive!

Saturday, August 3rd Part 2

Well, I got to the trading station early this afternoon and I found a small animal hospital that can look after the dog. Been sitting at the station for about a couple of hours.

The nurse said the dog will be fine, but it won't live very long if it wanders into the woods again. They've been have lots of big rodents burrowing nearby. Nurse said that the dog looked like it was attacked by a big possum and that's where the cut came from. The nurse said she'll put the dog in the adoption room once it's healed up.

I left the trading station shortly after and made it a bit closer to Gijunia. I hope I'll reach there by Monday.

Saturday, August 3rd

I know it's super late to be updating, but I managed to treat the dog as well as I could. I found a small river earlier as I washed away the dirt and caked on mud. So, now the dog looks white with dirt stains on the bottom half. And the dog is a boy! Moon told me that I can't name it cuz I'd get attached. She's probably right.

Anyhoo, there's a trading station about two miles north west from where we are now. Or so says the map. I've fed the dog as much as I could, there wasn't many good catches tonight. Two rabbits and some fresh berries I found.

In the later(?) morning, I'll start heading towards the trading station and see if I can find someone who can help this good boy. He's very sweet. Very skittish as well, but that's expected. I don't know what this dog has seen or been through, I just hope he'll let me carry him to the station. His legs were tore up with more ticks than expected. Didn't realize until I started to wash him off.

So, I'll update you guys later today once I get to the station. Good vibes for the good boy!

Friday, August 2nd Part 2

So, guess who almost got hit by a car~? A poor stray dog, that's who. I saw it earlier today in the woods, but I figured it was a hunting dog or something. So, let's set the scene, shall we?

So, I'm following the roads towards Gijunia. Moon and I were just talking about how people can't drive, seeing as I myself was almost clipped by this van of some kind not two minutes before hand. And out of the corner of my eye, I thought I saw a possum. Of course, I quickly got Moon off of my back and got ready to fire. Then I saw it was a medium(ish) dog with dirty white fur and sad yet peircing blue eyes. The poor thing looks as if it hasn't eaten in a couple days. I stared for a minute before trying to call it to me.

Then the stray looked at the road and started to wander into it! I tried to whistle for it to come to me, away from the cars. Furious honks and beeps came from the zooming cars. Now the poor thing was scared of the loud sounds and IT DECIDED TO LAY DOWN. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.

So, I did the most rational thing. I ran out into the road with reckless abandon, dodging what cars came by and picked up the dog. Once I pick it up, I felt how bony this dog really was. So, running back to the grassy side (still dodging cars and getting cursed at), I finally get the chance to look over this poor thing.

The fur was slightly matted and dirty from mud and whatever it had walked through. There was a couple of ticks on its legs, and it looked like there were slightly open wounds on her snout. So I took the small first aid care I had from my backpack and took out the tweezers to carefully remove the little blood suckers. Moon said that we didn't have the resources to help this dog to the fullest. Yeah, I knew that. But you don't have to say it out loud.

Welp, my left over food was stolen by some raccoons last night or so Moon tells me. I'm a little angry that she didn't try to wake me up, but oh well.

We started back on the road after I cleaned up camp.

Thursday, August 1st

Ok, so far, I've been walking on the side of the road (trying not to get run over.), following the signs towards Gijunia. It's a fairly big city or so I'm told. I hear it's famous for its fast trains and coffee shops. I personally don't like coffee all that much.

Anyhoo, Moon and I have been talking about our plan of action when we get there. She suggests that I find a motel or something for later. But I'm order to have a room we need money. Currently, as of right now I have...5 fickles. Which I believe is about 5 'dollars' and some change on Earth. So yeah, we're broke as a joke.

It's a pretty day outside. It's really humid though. It's about rain season so, that'll be fun. I just hope we're not caught in a flood again. That was not fun. At all. But hey, I got a new scar from that.

Oh, I guess I haven't talked my scars yet. Well I mean, I don't hide them. I have quite a few scar on my body. I have a real faint scar on my cheek from where I was playing with a stick and it wacked me when I was little. But I don't wanna bore you guys with scars and junk.

Well, right now it's starting to get dark, so I guess we'll make camp in the woods tonight. Hopefully we'll find something good to eat. Maybe a rabbit or something like that. Yeah, for the last two days, I've been surviving on crackers. Stale crackers. So, I wouldn't mind getting some meat tonight.

Live update!

Ok, so since I've started this blog, I've just been sharing stories and memories. But now you get to see what I'm doing everyday (if it's interesting) So, as of right now, I'm about to leave this old abandoned shack and head North towards so of the big cities. Woohoo!! Wish me luck!
