M!A: You remember everything for Valentine's Day, but only to forget it all again and everything you did for Valentine's Day the next day!
He had been walking through the library, books in his arms as he hummed. He was thinking about that scarf again. Strange, it was. Where did it come from? Who did it come from? Why was he out in the forest? Of course, Natalyaâs question brought curiosity but-Ivan gasped, a pounding from his head. He leaned against the shelf, hearing it groan and shake as he put his weight against it. The books in his arms dropped. He didnât know what was going on! He nearly cried out again-Wait. He did know. He clutched his heart, breathing heavily against the bookcase. His eyes watered. He did not allow himself to catch his breath as he dashed out of the library, heavy hearted, one name echoing in his mind.âYao.âHe did not allow his lack of breath to stop him. Ivan ran. He couldnât stop. He couldnât. Not until he felt his fist banging on a door, heavily, urgently, desperately. The moment it opened, Ivan finally said what he had been keeping in him for the longest time.âYao!â He cried out between tears. âYao, Iâm sorry!â
ask-darkchina:
âIt can be⌠sometimesâŚâ He mused, holding the other closer to him. âAre you thinking of a person?â
âYes,â Ivan answered, coming close and kissing him gently. His lips lingered for a while before pulling away at last. â⌠Are you thinking of flowers?â
He chuckled. âI am...â He then hummed softly. âAre you thinking of a male person?âÂ

âAre you thinking of an animal?â He asked, carding through Ivanâs platinum locks.
He shook his head, eyes continuing to watch the other. His hand came up to touch the otherâs hand, simply cherishing this feeling of warmth against his skin⌠He almost completely forgot the game they were playing.
â⌠Are you thinking of something red?â
âIt can be... sometimes...â He mused, holding the other closer to him. âAre you thinking of a person?â

Ivan had me try out this quiz... It told me my Patronus was a Great Grey Owl. I suppose I was right in painting myself as such a Harbinger of Death.
(Admin is a West Highland Terrier through and through! Got it on both on Pottermore and this quiz! :D)

Hey, guys! If you could help me out and upvote for my goal, that would be greatly appreciated! Tuition funds have always been tight, so doing this could help me out immensely. Thanks!
My Goal: to work for Disney Animation Studios
Disney animated films have been an inspiration my entire life and have brought a smile to my face countless times. I want to be a part of that for the future generations and allow them to find the enjoyment in animation as I have.
((Help the Admin? :3c))
Whatâs life without danger? [He asked, the red in his eyes flaring slightly as a deadly smile graced his lips.] But enough about me. How has life been treating you?
[Gavrill shrugged. Heâd seen that spark of life in Yaoâs eyes before in many men. He would be concern, if he didnât know that he held that same glint.]
Heh, avoiding danger. [He looked down.] I got into some trouble over the year, so Iâm laying lowâŚand less in trouble. [He smirked. Old habits died hard, and Gavrillâs schemes wouldnât entirely die anytime soon.]
[Yao chuckled.] You say you want to avoid trouble, yet you come to me? I might be the closest to trouble you can get, my friend. [He leaned back into the couch cushions, relaxing.] Can I get you anything? A drink, perhaps?
Things are well. [He said, coming out of the kitchen while drying his hands.] Though, it has been rather boring. Itâs almost too quiet for my liking. [He chuckled, tossing the towel onto a chair as he sat on the couch.] You are welcome to sit down.
[Golden eyes followed the man. He took the invitation with slow steps. Going to sit beside the other on the couch with respectable space between them.] Too quiet? What would you prefer life to bring for you? [He rose a brow playfully.]
Whatâs life without danger? [He asked, the red in his eyes flaring slightly as a deadly smile graced his lips.] But enough about me. How has life been treating you?
[A head peeked out from the kitchen door, eyes blazing red at the sound of possible danger entering his home. Seeing it was Gavrill, he calmed significantly.]Â
Greetings, Gavrill. [He said, an almost curious tone to his voice. He wondered why the other was here after after some thoughtful deliberation, he voiced his thought.]
What brings you here?
[Gavrillâs head snapped in the direction of Yaoâs voice, wandering till he found the elder. He rubbed at the back of his neck, his brows creased.] Eh⌠[He shrugged.] Truthfully, Iâm just here to say âhi,â and see how things with you were.

Yao chuckled at the warmth suddenly emanating from the fireplace and the rather interesting request from his lover. âSounds good.â He said with a quiet grin. âWho starts?â
âYou start,â Ivan requested, eyes remaining closed as he resided in the otherâs arms. It had been so long and his touch felt so wonderful⌠He wanted to learn more about his lover as he barely scratched the surface.
âAre you thinking of an animal?â He asked, carding through Ivanâs platinum locks.
[If Gavrill was capable of one thing, it was remembering faces. And sometimes names. But faces were important. Heâd only met with with Yao a few times in the past, and he was never good at keeping in touch. It took someone drilling it into his thick skull that they wanted to see him before he usually took the initiative to speak with them. Yet, this time he decided to take the first steps.]
[Gavrill knocked on the door to Yaoâs home, hoping to get his attention.]
Hello? [He asked as he entered. He couldnât remember exactly how it was heâd ended up spending time with Yao in the past. But he remembered those moments were usually comforting. Was that what he was seeking? Comfort? It seemed pitiful, but it was too late to go back and pretend he wasnât there.]

He looked back to the other in surprise before looking at their hands. He smiled softly as he was pulled close and he nuzzled against Ivan. As he was lead, he closed his eyes, relying on Ivan.
He sighed softly as he rested backward, back cracking with a pleasant groan. âOf courseâŚâ He whispered, holding close to Ivan and gently petting his hair. He needed to be close to Ivan at this point.
Ivan felt a smile inch onto his face before he sat up, wand waving as wood moved into the fireplace and then was set alight. He grinned as the warmth hit his face, laying back beside Yao and curling up next to him. His eyes closed, concentrating on listening to Yaoâs breathing, feeling his touch, and taking in the emotions surrounding him.Â
âYao⌠letâs play a game,â he whispered, holding the other close. âTwenty questions?â
Yao chuckled at the warmth suddenly emanating from the fireplace and the rather interesting request from his lover. âSounds good.â He said with a quiet grin. âWho starts?â

Yao sighed softly, happily, as tender affection was given to him. He nearly whined as the other pulled away, but he held that back. âHomeâŚâ He agreed softly. He let go of one of Ivanâs hands and began to lead the other back to his abode.
Once there, he stepped inside and pulled off his jacket. âPlease close the door behind you.â He requested, heading to the couch.
Before he could take a step further to the couch, a hand reached out, taking his. Ivan stared at their joined hands, biting his lower lip as he brought the other close to him and turned to close the door. Finished with the small task, he moved with Yao to the fireplace, leading them to lay down. Ivan curled up against the other, cheeks red.Â
âI wanted to stay near you⌠Please?â Ivan asked, leaning on his lover.Â
