Restoration Initiative: Cast List
NP(Nephrite "Nora")- A nervous gem in a near-constant state of unease. She is flawed and has an incomplete arm that is aided by gem technology and her own powers, and was appointed chief scientist due to her fairly personal interest in learning how to repair gemstones in the absense of rosewater.
FL(Fluorite)- Also known as Flo by close friend Nephrite. She is an enginnering class gem who handles technical upkeep of things in more rugged places that are too dangerous or hands-on for Peridots. She has been given temporary access to a high-securty section of White Diamond's court where Nephrite's duties keep her most hours, due to the unique nature of the projects that require less naturally inquisitive workers.
WD(White Diamond)- the eldest of the Great Diamond Authority, her court is focused on technological advancement and gem-based study. The diamond herself is often considered unnerving despite her coy smile- or perhaps because of it. In any case, the whole court fears her as much as respects and admires her. She is not a gem you want to cross.
N1(Nephrite extra)- One of the other high ranking scientists, she is suspcious and critical of Nora and her secretive work. Maybe called "Nina"
N2(Nephrite extra)- A scientist who brings in gem fragments for study but doesn't know for what use. Maybe called Una("Unwitting").
KJ(Kambaba Jasper)- A veteran of the Rebellion and one of the oldest Jaspers still in action in White's court, she is now part of the Restoration Intiative, and is the one who procures gem shards and fragments for study to be delivered by her Nephrite underling. It is uknown where she gets the shards, but those who catch rumors of her work claim it's from dissenting gems, rebels, or sometimes anyone who crosses her without backup.
LL(Lapis Lazuli Shard)- A revived and stabilized shard, one of the first of the only current sucessful batch of restored fragments. It seems to have been a fluke, since Nora can't replicate the results. Known as "Zuli" for short.
LJ(Red Jasper Shard)- A shy little restored Jasper fragment, and a member of the only sucessfully restored batch.
??(Amalgamate)- ??? A corrupted, malformed attempt at revival that became much bigger and more destructive than anticipated. During a check-up on a small Bios class planet housing the more volatile experiments of the RI, it escaped and wrought havoc.
