((As a preface, I’m not trying to be bitchy or jump down you guys’ throats. It’s just sort of irritating to come back to an rp group after a few weeks away to discover a huge possible plot in the works that very much would involve you even if only because of placement, and to not have any warning. Oropher’s mod had to inform me because there were no posts about it tagged with any of our blogs, no asks sent, nothing. I’ve been checking Glorfindel regularly, yet there was never anything that needed his attention so I didn’t do anything active because I’ve been getting ready for college. And I’ve never once seen word of this plan until orpy’s mod told me and I sent a vague all call out that Maedhros answered vaguely, and Thuringwethil even more vaguely. So, please excuse my irritation at having no warning of this supposed new plot line. And if you really plan to adjust this thing so it doesn’t involve anyone who doesn’t want to be, please be very particular about how you do it. Because I know Elrond and myself and almost definitely Ecthelion do not want a part in it, and if anything comes near Imladris there is no in character way they would be able to ignore it as some of if not the most important elves in Imladris, without completely splitting the rp so that we become 2 different rp groups. I’m not trying to dissuade this plot if you can find a way for it to work for both the people who want to join in and those who want nothing to do with it- just please be very careful with how you go about it so that it works for everyone. Unless you do want to split rp groups for it, in which case people need to be informed before more confusion and drama is caused.))

It’s been adjusted as it was meant to not be an attack on Imladris, and from what I now understand, it will be a small scouting party that will pick off wanderers in the area outside of the valley. The full “army” will not be anywhere near there, but instead in Thuringwethil’s tower far-off.
Drama was never meant to be caused, and we do apologize for making anyone feel as though they were excluded or forced into RP that they were not interested in.))
((Really? For future reference, the tracked tags for Glorfindel are Glorfindel and ask-glorfindelofgondolin. Tagging anything else goes to an old Glorfindel rp account whose owner we don't know that's no longer active.
That will work a lot better for everyone I think- and thank you so much for telling me that much, as that's the most I've heard on this plot aside from vague hinting. Until now, all I've heard has led me believe that a full scale attack on Imladris was planned without the participation of the main members of Imladris. What you said will be a good plan for everyone to do their own thing, I think.
It's no problem! It's just I know myself personally and a few others of the mods have had issues in this group before with plotlines started among a few involving other people's characters causing a large amount of drama, and even almost convincing a few of us to leave our characters. So we definitely wanted to just nip this in the bud and figure out what was going on before it got steamrolling and we were trapped in it.
