Do you want to help donate books to children in Africa?

Hey everyone,

So as you may know, but I haven’t talked about it much on here, I just started a new internship with Course Hero’s Knowledge Drive. It’s an initiative to donate books to students in need in Africa. It’s totally a non-profit organization. Literacy is a very important philanthropy to me, which you also may know since I’m a member of Pi Beta Phi (we promote literacy); which is why I was so interested in this internship and opportunity. 

How do you donate books? 

You donate books by uploading documents you have from courses you have taken in high school and college. These documents are things you have like notes, homework, essays, speeches you’ve written, case studies or labs you have worked on. 

By clicking here on my leader link you’ll be sent to the page for you to sign up. You just need to enter your email address and a password (I do not have access to the password!). Even if you’re not a Quinnipiac student you can still contribute to my group! 

From there you are sent right to a page to upload documents. Documents are basically materials from courses you have taken at high school or college. 

After the documents are uploaded you’ll need to tag them. You enter the University (or high school) name [it will say Quinnipiac by default but you can erase it and put your own regardless of where you are in the world!!], course code (such as EN101), name (such as English for Beginners), teacher name (such as John Smith), and the semester and year you took the course (such as Fall 2012). 

For more help with uploading documents, the video here is helpful. 

For every 10 documents you upload a book is donated to a child in Africa! Once you upload 40 documents you are granted premier access to the website, which will allow you to see other documents and have access to resources such as flashcards, tutors, and e-courses. When you upload 100 or more documents you are allowed to put the Knowledge Drive on your resume as community service! 

If you have some time and want to help those in need, please consider helping out this philanthropy and help giving me credit towards this internship.

so… not only do they keep your photos on file indefinitely, they also can sell them at any time for any reason they see fit - which means that your friends or family members or even future employers could see you marketing any number of things, against your will. you could be used to market pornographic sites. your image could be fucking ruined, through no fault of your own.

please please PLEASE pass this on to everyone you know, especially if you know that they use snapchat or someone they know does. this information is IMPORTANT. lives could be ruined, here.

KyuYoung is real and I will go down with this ship until forever.
