Seamus and Lavender ● A Walk on the Beach.
Seamus had spent the morning outside, luckily, he was off work that day. He was sitting on the steps to their cottage, cup of coffee sitting beside of him. He was watching the waves as they crashed upon the shore, the way the beach looked so empty and foggy- it was almost scary. He was just about to get up and go for a stroll by himself on the beach when he heard the old cottage door slam open and heard the loud screams of his and Lavender’s child, Leah. Seamus knew nothing was wrong with her, because she tended to scream for no reason a lot. She came running down the stairs and he picked her up and kissed her head. She must’ve just woken up because her hair was messy and her eyes looked a little sleepless.
He was just about to take Leah back inside when he saw Lavender emerging out of the cottage. “Hello, love.” Seamus said, a smile tugging at his lips.
Lavender sighed, taking her cup of coffee from the counter and following Leah outside as she screamed, closing the door behind the both of them. It was much too early in the morning for that kind of noise in her opinion, even if it was a regular thing.
"Morning Seamus." She said, pulling her robe tighter around herself before sipping her coffee and coming down the walkway towards the two of them. When she got close enough, she kissed his cheek and reached out to ruffle Leah's mop of hair.
