Well, It wasn’t so much of a date as it was a play-date or at least that’s what Madeline told herself. Alfred simply came over (uninvited might I add) and it was common knowledge to feed your guests. Placing a plate of stir-fried vegetables in front of him she smiled to herself. He wasn’t a bad kid at all but the age gap was extensive. Maybe in a few years- ah, what was she thinking? How terribly disgusting.
