I’m still alive, yes. Here are some character reference sketches, updating designs a bit. Lucky is much the same, Prose and Dawn got new hairstyles, and Grim got a different plumage pattern. Going to try to go back and fully color them when I have the time.
Might make this blog a general art and sketch blog. Post a few other OCs and fan arts when I finish them, perhaps.
They can pry this blog and my art from my cold dead deleted fingers.
Assuming this blog doesn’t get purged for some stupid reason, I’ll probably just start posting my sketches and art in general on here. Been meaning to get back into art, and my new job has finally settled into a rhythm where I have time for my hobbies and creativity again. Terrible timing, eh?
If this blog does get deactivated, and for those of you fleeing Tumblr is this exodus, I humbly offer my thanks to those who have followed me and supported my blog and artwork. You have helped me grow as an artist, and I’ve made several friends along the way. So, from the bottom of my heart, thanks.

Little Update
Just a quick little update. I haven’t forgotten about this blog, nor is it dead. The last couple of months have just been very busy and demanding of me. I’ve been working full-time, plus some overtime most weeks, and then I’ve had family obligations and other things to tend to as well. On top of that, my health took a dive, and I had to see the doctor a couple of times and have several tests done, which was rather demanding of my time, mental focus, and finances. Soooo yeah, kinda left me without any sort of time or willpower to sit and doodle cute horses.
Gonna try to get back on the horse (yaaaay puns) and get back to drawing soon, though. I’m kinda hitting roadblocks with Lucky updates, though. If y’all don’t mind, would you kindly through a few asks my way? Maybe give me some ideas, or good prompts to react to? Alternatively, I may just start posting random doodles in general, to try to jumpstart my creativity. Idk, we’ll see.
Anyway, just wanted to let y’all know I’m not dying (the doctor checked), and neither is this blog. Not sure when exactly we’ll get back to regular updates, though. But thanks for sticking with me, folks. Y’all take care for now, alrighty?

I’m not dead. And neither is this blog, I swear.
I’ve just been really, really busy lately. And when I do somehow find the time for art, my tablet is on the fritz or something else comes up to keep me from being artsy.
That, and art lately has just been... hard. I dunno if it’s art block, just a funk, or what. Honestly, I’d like to do some creative writing stuff, since writing has always come to me more naturally and easily than visual arts. But alas, creative writing has always been a rather tricky medium on Tumblr.
I dunno. Just rambling, I guess. I’m tired. I’ve been very tired lately. My job usually has me working a 40+ hour week, and it requires a lot of running around. No really, I sometimes have to run. :P But yeah, just been really busy and tired lately. Sorry y’all.
Funny thing is, as slow as things have been on the blog, I’m still gaining followers faster than I lose ‘em. I’m a few short of 250, in fact. I just wanna say thanks to y’all. The support is nice. :)
Anyhoo, enough babbling. I’ll try to get some art up here in the near future. Maybe tomorrow, if something doesn’t come up. We’ll see. But I promise, this blog ain’t dead. Lucky’s harder to kill than that~

So that little project
So I finally finished the first part of the project. And what is that project?
Fan Art Fridays! :D
Yes, once a week, (generally) on Fridays I will be posting at least one piece of fan art of blog. Drawing Lucky is fun, but I figure drawing other characters will give me more practice, give y’all some different stuff to see, and also give other artists and bloggers a nice little present. Lots of happy folks, aye?
But yeah, as you an see, today is not Friday. But screw it, if I keep pushing things off and kicking the can down the road, I’ll never actually get it done. So, without further ado, I’m about to upload our first edition of Fan Art Sunday Friday! :D
Okay so my little Friday project got kinda derailed by my new job turning out to be full-time and eating most of my week.
Gonna try and launch it today, since I (FINALLY) have a day off.

Mod Update
(So a little status update.
Sorry for the lack of posts an art lately. I’ve been switching from one job to another, and the two overlapped for a little while. Haven’t had a proper day off in over two weeks, sooooo I’ve been a bit too busy and tired for art. Sorry!
But as of this weekend, I’ll be solely working the new job, which is a lot less taxing on my body and mind. Plus it pays better, woo! So yeah, hopefully in the next week or so, I’ll be able to get back to doing the artsy stuff. I even have something a bit special in mind, which I hope to get started on over the next few days. You’ll hopefully see the finished product next Friday! :D
Anyhoo, just thought I’d let y’all know what’s happening on my end, so you don’t worry about the lack of updates. Also, feel free to send more asks! I’ve gotten some good ones lately, but having a nice little reserve to pick from is always good! You never know when a couple of messages may compliment each other and help give me better ideas for answers. So don’t be shy! :D

A quick update: Character species does not matter. The character does not have to be a pony! Character colors and designs influence how their Koi will look!
