Can I kiss you? (ask-mr-defect-mogeko) (let the torture commence)
Send “Can I kiss you?” to see how my muse responds.
"… Yes."
Bashful emerald eyes watched as he struggled to voice the words, heat slowly fading away. Seeing him so fidgety and nervous reminded her that he too was just as inexperienced in this… element, if that’s what she could call it.
Trying on a small smile, she pondered on it for awhile; certainly she wasn’t ready for such an intimate act as kissing— at least, not yet. However, she is past the boundary of hugging, so an act between hugging and kissing…?
With a soft sigh, she took her index and middle finger to her lips before gently placing them on the right of his face, skin coming in contact with fur. It wasn’t that bad in all honesty, though she did become a bit red in the face once more.
"I’m not one to be in such intimate acts, so I’m sorry I can’t do more than this…" It was almost as if a tinge of regret had squeezed and squirmed its way into her voice as she spoke, expression never faltering as she said her words. Ah, if only she was more bold…
That was a bit endearing. Watching her relax just a little bit was heartening, too. For as savvy as he was in so many other matters, he felt like an ignorant child for things such as this. That tiny little act of affection was enough to renew his blush, and before he realized what he was doing, he had taken her hand into his own and held her hand there. It felt silly to think that he could probably stand here, doing this for hours. Her fingers were just a little cold, but her palm was soft and warm. He did not mind the juxtaposition, to be honest. It was soothing, especially considering the jagged scar that rested on that side of his face.
He wondered if she had done that on purpose, or if it was coincidence. Girls liked scars, right? Then again, Eloise was far from being a conventional woman. Other than the baseline 'they are all people' thing, he did not know much of what they found attractive. These were all rather silly thoughts to be having, but he simply wanted to be the best he could for her, considering all that they had endured together.
Her smile was beautiful, though. No matter what he was or who he was, she smiled at him, for him. That was all the reassurance he needed.
"Don't be apologizin' for somethin' like that, Missy." he said as his gaze met her own again, his paw still on her hand, "It ain't all about stuff like that, far as I know. ...Granted, I don't know much." he managed a genuine, but nervous chuckle.
