Hello everyone!!!

(i saw everybody making blogs for their OCs, so i decided to make one too! blog is run by @reneefangirlsoverstuff)

My name is Oliver Beaumont; you can call me Oliver or Ollie for short. My pronouns are he/him. Some facts about me below the cut!

Personality: He's quiet at first, but once everybody gets to know each other a bit he's quite funny, and he's also very caring of the littluns. He likes making friends but is pretty shy at first.

(I'll fill more in here once I finish his character a bit!)

Here's some lore:

He met Jack through a family friend when they were kids. He was one of the first choir members, along with Simon (who he likes) and Roger (he doesn't really know Roger very well)

Initially, him and Jack were very close, but they started to grow apart a bit as Jack started hanging out with Roger more.

He hangs out with Simon sometimes but doesn't really talk to many people as he's shy.

He's autistic, but since this is the 1950's he isn't diagnosed because the traits he exhibits aren't severe enough for anybody to look into it.

Sometimes other kids in the choir would bully him, but Jack would always tell them to stop.

As the war came closer and closer, Jack set out to rekindle their friendship, which Oliver appreciated a lot, but once they got on the island, Jack stopped talking to him as much.

Once Jack and the hunters split off from the rest of the group, Oliver wanted to go with them but stayed with Ralph for fear of the others after watching them kill Simon. He's still a bit wary of Ralph, since Ralph also took part in it, but he believes Ralph's remorse/apology.

After Piggy dies, Jack takes him along with Samneric, but doesn't give him any punishment. Whether it be out of pity for his old friend or just mercy, he'll never know.

After the island, he stays with Jack throughout their healing process (they all have PTSD from the island) and the two of them become great friends again. They aid each other in recovery, and without one another they probably wouldn't have made it through it.

I love flowers! My family used to have a garden filled with oh-so-many flowers! They were super pretty. I miss them sometimes. The flowers, I mean. My family too I suppose.

hello. I don’t think we’ve formally met, but yet again I don’t think I’ve met a lot of the people here. I’m Taylor by the way. Taylor Wyndham. You might’ve heard my name around, probably because of whole “being in kahoots with Simon thing”.

I don’t typically get along with the hunters and their kind. If I’m being honest, they haven’t really been the nicest to me. I do hope we can get along though. And that’s genuine, by the way.

I think I'd rather live in the woods, the city is quite loud and busy which I don't really like. However, the woods can get cold and scary sometimes, so I'd have to have electricity in my cabin.

Hmm, my favorite thing about Simon has to be how kind he is. He's nice to me without expecting anything in return. He gets a bad rep from the other kids, but he's really sweet especially when you get to know him.

And Percival? He cries a lot, and he's very annoying to me and the other littluns. My least favorite thing about him has to be how much he throws stuff at me and the other kids here. It's really annoying.

uhm but i already threatened to sacrifice him to the beast and he just started crying and then when i left he followed me and threw sand at me again so i think he should be forced to do nightwatch duty for a month
