Rott here, it seems like my post about a rainworld species I named operators have gained quite some traction, and I've seen that a few people do adore my little Moss guy.

Operators are highly adaptable and purposed for different things. It wouldn't surprise me if there's a scientist helper operator out there. I once knew a medical rescue one.

The Dichotomy.

Blazing Magma was designed to be intimidating, being one of many guards of city he resided in. He was never loyal to an iterator, but now that the ancients are gone often relies on Smoldering Brimstone for resources for energy generation. In return, similar to artificer, he protects against curious creatures picking apart their superstructure and killing the inspectors and neuronflies within.

Does the triangle thingimajig on your head act only as a lightsource or does it have other uses?

When charging it'll light up in colors resembling the percentage ranging from red to yellow to green. I recharge mainly using solar panels built onto my chassi.

Hiii helllloooo. Has Moss ever thought about taming a lizard or anything? If they did, what kind of lizard would they choose?

Is there any other reason besides familiarity that your design is so similar to iterator pupets? While by no means bad the pupetlike design has many ineficencies, or well not really it's just missing out on more efficent methods like multiple arms or arachnid like movement system would alow for a smaller profile and better muverabilty while multiple arms would allow for multitasking as well as they could be specialized and allow for extra precision. Adding onto this restricting your vision to the standard forward facing eyes is a bad move as altho iterators don't need 360 vision for an operator like you it would come in handy quite often.

what are the diffrences between operators and Iterators?

(like are they the same height, or something like that-)

It varies a lot between operators of course, but the biggest difference is that we aren't physically chained to a superstructure. Due to this we don't have the same processing power or memory. And unlike iterators we do not have any overseers.

As for myself, I am definitely stronger that Sunset here~
