MBTI types response to manipulation
INFP- as a child, they are more likely to be manipulated because they want to see the best in people. However, once they see through the manipulation, they see the red flags and avoid it. As they get older, they can be quite tough and stubborn against manipulation because they can see more both the bad qualities as well as the good qualities in a person.
INFJ- They can normally sense when they are being manipulated. They are typically sceptical of people and will be on their guard. However, if a person they love is manipulating them then it is more difficult for them to recognize this.
INTP- They almost expect others to be manipulative and keep a safe distance from people. They are difficult to manipulate even if the person is close to them. The reason being that they want what people say to be backed up by reason.
INTJ- They openly dislike manipulative people. Most likely they will eithet steer clear or cut manipulative people out of their life. They are pretty strong in what they think so it takes a lot of research and facts in order to sway them.
ISFP- They are easily manipulated because of their kind and gentle soul. They dislike being manipulated and will try to find ways to get these people out of their life. However, especially with people they love, they are blind to the fact they are being taken advantage of.
ISFJ-Even though they are actually kind of skeptic of people, they are easily swayed by emotions. Their caring and loyal qualities makes them a sometimes easy target for manipulation.
ISTP- They are not at all easy to manipulate. They dislike to be aroundy shady people so will remove these people from their life. They like people who are upfront and hate pointless drama.
ISTJ-They are very skeptical people and at a slight chance that someone is pushing them in a certain direction, they immediately lose trust. They like making their own decisions.
ENFP-They can be somewhat gullible and easy to manipulate. However, they are quite good at manipulation themselves. As they gain experience and new information, they will become skeptical of people.
ENFJ- They are great at seeing shady people. However, especially with loved ones, they have a hard time saying no to them. So even though they recognize the manipulation, they wont necessarily stop it.
ENTP- They are frustrated by manipulative people and do their best to avoid them. However, if someone tries to manipulate them, they will probably retaliate by manipularing that person back.
ENTJ-They are naturally skeptical people. They dont really let anyone sway their decisions so it is very difficult for them to be manipulated.
ESFP-They are easily manipulated by people they trust. They are quite blind to anything because they are upfront people and dont think anything else.
ESFJ- Normally, they are not manipulated by people. However, everything changes when the person manipulating is someone they love. They will sacrifice their own needs for others.
ESTP- They will not be manipulated by strangers. But can be easily manipulated by their loved ones. They wont realise they are being manipulated either. They want to think the best of those people.
ESTJ-They arent normally easily manipulated. They are skeptical. However, with loved ones they have a struggle with saying no to them.
I would like to point out that certain types are more vulnerable to other types and therefore even if they are skeptical, they can sometimes still be manipulated. But this is mostly when types get to know each other.
