What can you tell me about fallen angels?

Fallen Angels are an Imperial Faction prominent in the Second and Third Ages of Creation. They were best known for their dedication to Love above all other considerations.

While many humans hold love dear, the Fallen refused to restrict their love to only a few, or to those who excite love. They loved everyone, including those who are most deserving of hatred. This has soiled them, though it has never harmed their divine nature. Instead, their wounds dripped a basis for the compost of Hell, which was at the base of the World Tree among the blue flames of the Weirding Wall.

The beings of Hell found it anathema for anyone to die alone, so even if the Fallen themselves cannot attend to you, some small mephit or demon would find its way to you. Back in the days of the Third Age, no one ever died alone.

Would that we could be so lucky in these days of the Interstice.

We provide many kinds of meat in the cafeteria, in addition to our vegetarian menu, our vegan menu, and our gaseous breatharian menu. We even have an experimental menu for volunteers, consisting of meat grown upon Sa’a Lingurth.

Yes, I do mean grown. The meat trees are very essential to the monstrous ecosystem. Not every monster can be an apex predator, but all love their meat.

Now, as for squirrel chasing, that is quite a fortuitous coincidence. Giant squirrels, descendants of Ratatoskr, have moved into the Walking Fields recently. They are prone to slapstick retaliation instead of leading their opponents into spiked traps, and are quite suitable for young wolves who seek amusement.

I would think that I have no prejudices against them.

Instead, I would ask them questions, such as whether they believe the Christian communion is a form of devouring the sun, or whether they had considered finding homes for stray Riders instead of eating them.

After all, the Riders are a sizable portion of the student body, and they deserve a fair shake.

Thoughts on monstrous wolves?

I believe that, while many scholars of the eternal struggles view them as an end to Reality As We Know It, monstrous wolves are an essential part of the Eternal Ecosystem.

For if devouring the sun is an eclipse, then we must note that an eclipse is temporary. And as all in Town know, suns are QUITE adept at resurrection.

Mu. Your question is flawed.

Reality has not died, but entered into a new state of affairs entirely. If nothing else, the fact that Death’s burden has been taken up by the Headmaster of the Bleak Academy would show how radically things have transformed.

If we assume you mean survival to mean coherence compatible with the way things were in previous Ages, then I can safely say less than one percent of Creation has continued onwards.

However, the Outside is not merely a flood that has drowned the old beneath its waves: it is a fertile swamp writhing with the new, an estuary of real and unreal that is shifting both in exciting ways.

This is not the K-T extinction event. It is the Cambrian explosion!

Explain the difference between your father, you, and the principle OF entropy.

My father was the principle that there exists that which is truly monstrous and beyond redemption. There are beings that can never belong, and will always tear down and destroy the order that shuns them.

I am the principle that nothing is beyond the reach of community. Even the monsters can coexist with Town, no matter if they be the native Yokai, the swan folk, the ghouls of Horizon, vampires, ogres, or the strange monsters from Sa’a Lingurth.

This is why he died. He cracked his own soul apart to give me a chance to emerge.

The principle of entropy itself is different from we Principals Entropy. It states that any closed ordered system will decay into disorder. It is, for the most part, a figment of Earth’s Prosaic Reality.

Why?

I met an Aaron’s Serpent once. I did not ask her name. I was young, confused, and my heart was breaking as it beat in my flesh. I asked her the same question.

She took me for a ride on her back, to wend our way within Yggdrasil’s crevices. She told me there was a sacred mark there, more potent than any runes any pretender god could ever find, that would answer me, put there by Cneph, He Who Made.

Written there, in black scorch marks rimmed with blue, sparkling with the remains of the first Celestial Dawn, were these words.

In Town, which is beyond the curse of Babel, it can be stated thus.

Most dangerous member of the Student Council?

There are many rumors about which of them I fear most.

Lee Scathing, with his tanks of my father’s blood, Owler, who hops from body to body, Impious armed with my father’s arsenal…

But it is Mourning who I fear most. He talks of a dark future, where all is dead and lost.

He speaks of my defeat as casually as one comments on the weather.

What are some popular field trips for School classes?

Popular destinations include Locus Imsety, home to the famous oracle Rainfall, the Keep of Lady Mugain from where we get levirock and dryrock, Little Island which is quite idyllic, and Soma Village every once a blue moon (according to the terms achieved in our peacetalks after the Jingoistic Jackalope debacle).

Soma Village’s Headmaster of St. Vita’s Academy is far from my favorite person, however. He is a drunkard and does not take his job at all seriously.

How is your relationship with Seizhi?

He’s a good kid!

Entropy Two is always sending me mildly ominous letters telling me about Seizhi’s “great potential.” As if I could not recognize such potential on my own!

He needs toughening up, though—he lacks confidence! Also he would have difficulty if called upon to wrestle against the seven masked exarchs of the Bleak Academy or something like that. I’m working on a training program. I had to cancel my first plan because Aidan says putting children in a pit full of alligators is against Town’s work safety code.

But once I find a home for all the alligators but one, then, we shall see the rise of a new hero!

However, I must disagree with this course of action. Alligators? Seizhi is ready for something more involved than that at this point in their education.

I have several monsters that would be more than suitable as sparring partners.

Do you ever invite people to the Evil World?

I spend much more time helping people leave the Evil World than helping them reach it. Sa’a Lingurth means well (for a rather atypical definition of the word well), but their tendrils have a habit of abducting random citizens of Town.

It is a shame that they do not appreciate it like I do.
