Becoming a mother should have been Roniβs greatest moment in life - and in a way, it reallyΒ was, she had a daughterΒ that she absolutely adored! But the young woman soon realized it wasnβt the lifechanging moment she thought it would be. With Wrenβs father out of the picture, being a working single mother has been more than Roni could handle, and instead of giving her child the full attention she needed, the then young bartender found herself out and about every opportunity that she could. Work-free nights turned into full nights of partying and very badΒ mornings that followed, and before Roni knew it, her daughter was taken by child protective service and was placed with her twin sister, Cassie. It took Roni yearsΒ to admit to herself that she was the sole person to blame for the situation. Wren deserved so much better than herself! She deserved someone like Cassie - her perfect goody two-shoes sister whoβs never done wrong in her life! Roni loved her to bits, despite the many differences between the two, but she hated that Cassie was everything that Wren needed while she was the failed mother, over and over again, no matter how much she tried to make up for it over the years. It was like she was cursed to be a terrible mother. WhenΒ Rowan Oxley came into her life, things started to change. Roni wasnβt the kind of woman to fall in love like a silly, smitten teenager, but she really fell for Rowanβs charms, and she fell for it fast andΒ hard. It wasnβt always a perfect fairytale story, though. Roniβs careless behaviour and lifestyle thatβs been causing her problems ever since she could remember threatened to take him away from her too, and it nearly did, but Roni was determined to hold onto the bright light that Rowan has brought into her life. Now, she was trying to rebuild her life with a man she loved by her side, a sister whoβs been more supportive than ever, and a grown up daughter, whoβd, hopefully, be willing to give her another chance to be the mother she always deserved.
