We do it very rarely. It’s a lot of work and as I can recall, we’ve only challenged somewhere else for a soul…..three times? Thrice in thousands of years. And only one was actually a win for us, and he misses it, but we’ve told him we’re not challenging it again. Listen, the business of death is tricky.

You loved being in the ocean. What’s changed?

What’s changed is I don’t exactly fancy killing people for the rest of eternity. I only became a Pride because I was sick and tired of it, and even here I can’t have one person that I care about because it all switches around and I’ll never see any of them again. I know my mom and sister are in the regular afterlife, and that’s why I’d like to change it.
