Might one inquire into your thoughts on stargazing? You said once you can appreciate looking at the stars, but you didn't know the earth went around the sun. What did you think they were? What was your thoughts on stars as a kid too?
Stargazing is a hobby that is almost viewed in a sense of enlightenment, in that it is a mentally soothing activity that separates ones mind from ones thoughts that are, at times, noisy and problematic. I used to use stargazing as a method of mental rehabilitation as a child because I often overwhelmed the size of my undeveloped brain with overly developed thoughts.
I knew that stars were strange sources of light, not of this atmosphere or planet, but I was not completely sure. I tried researching them, but Mummy didn't like the idea of spoiling my childhood imagination. Needless to say, that imagination fueled an interest in space for a little while, before I realized the uselessness of such information.

Hello, Sherlock! I was just curious, do you know what your IQ is? I'm assuming it's either off the charts or you haven't bothered to find out but I just thought I'd ask. Sorry if this is a boring question.... !
The only people who need IQ testings are those who are concerned about it.
I have no reason for concern.

What developments were you referring to when you said, "Let’s just say Moriarty is not so much of a threat anymore, after recent developments." ?
I knew that this would be the next question. Personally, I've just come to terms with the fact that Moriarty is just as much human as he is spider. He is not any more godly than I may claim to be, as well.
If I can metaphorically refer to him as a "peacock", perhaps you'd get a better sense of the mental image.
And after our encounter, Reichenbach Falls, he has been largely out of the game. That is not to discredit his potential threat, but he has certainly waned out a great deal.
- SH
What recent developments? Daddy has most certainly had enough now, and there is no agression here dear Sherlock. You see at the moment you may just TOO good for me Sherlock, bu I did win I think you will find, you may be better than me now but remember I will always come out on top, SHERLOCK HOLMES. -JM
Oh boring, boring, boring, boring. If you could hurry up, that'd be much appreciated.
Recent developments in my personal life are what I was referring to.

I have not got extreme arrogance, thank you very much. You're the one with the arrogance and pride problems here. You never fault yourself, you are so very confident and that get ever so annoying, Sherlock. How hilarious, think yourself a comedian now? Those same blunders and mistakes led to BOTH of us 'dying' on St Barts. I am rather a great actor, Richard Brooke was the icing on the cake. Shame you were arrogant and thought you could stop me. Shame, I will get you Sherlock. Eventually. -JM
Perhaps not extreme. Excessive? Incredible? Palpable? Argue over semantics all you desire.
Why the sudden aggression? "Daddy's had enough now?" I am confident for tangible reasons. The only failure I may have acquired was letting you get too close.
But you never won.
You can act successful, if it pleases your ego.

I'm not sure this relavent but have you noticed the color difference between you and Watsons blog? Yours is rather dark and i switch to his and it's so white it blinds me! I think this suits your personalitys well, no offence.
I hadn't really noticed. It just makes reading things easier for my eyes.
Nobody looks at John's blog, anyhow.

Hello Sherlock, are you busy lately?
Incredibly so. Let's just say Moriarty is not so much of a threat anymore, after recent developments.

I don´t have any case inquiry, I just want to know one thing: could you tell me where are the brilliant deduction tips which you used to have in your archives? I cannot find them and I am utterly desperate. I have been writing them down, copying them. They were so smart! Where are they? Can you upload them again, please? Please? Thank you. -Martina
I apologize, but there are many deductive reasoning tips that I have either shared or made my own. If you follow my line of thinking, that should be plentiful with deductive reasoning tips.

Yes, but what happened after you sabotaged Mycroft's graduation speech? you said it had been worse than usual. The subject of punishment, that is.
She pinched both of my cheeks.
I sense a precarious interest along the lines of corporal punishment, anon.
- SH
Is there anything you can not do ?
No.

Have you ever heard the term 'bromantic' or 'bromance'? What is your opinion on this (frankly ridiculous) word?
I think it's indirectly sexist and unnecessary. I was previously countered with the fact that apparently there is a term called "womance", but in all honesty, it has not gained the same light as "bromance".
To simply call a relationship "platonic" would suffice.

What were some of your mother's methods of punishment? I have this idea where she told you what you did was wrong and then patted your head and said to run along. Or were the punishments a bit more extensive?
The punishments were not extensive at all. My mother was extremely nurturing towards me, largely because I was the favourite. For a more interesting response, you may want to ask Mycroft the same question.
The most common form of her punishment for me was a little pinch of the cheek and a forced confession of my crimes.

How difficult would it be for someone to teach themselves to play the violin? I would love to learn, but I can't afford lessons.
It would be difficult in the sense that you wouldn't know whether or not you're doing something correctly or incorrectly. I suggest finding a friend to watch your self-practise and compare it to that of a video or professional violinist. Or use a mirror and be very methodical and exact in your practises.
Or simply find a cheap instructor.

Hello there, Mr. Holmes. I was just wondering...I haven't seen any Anderson defamation posts in a while. Got anything?
Here are two you might enjoy:
One of our DIs was leaving work early to attend his mother's funeral. We all gave him our condolences. Anderson came around late to view the commotion, and as a final, harried word, he stated with his reassuring smile, "Have a blast." He maintains that his brain fell out on him.
Anderson and a few other investigators of the Yard went to the gym yesterday to go lift weights and work out. Anderson claimed to have really done a lot of intensive exercise, but in any case, when they were all in the showers, Anderson must've fallen asleep. Upon instinct, the other investigators called an ambulance, and Anderson awoke, naked, surrounded by at least ten people.
Cheers.
