Team Ragamuffins - Episode 1

With the arrival of the two Rift City Guilds to the riverside village of Attwell, the town’s dock workers work overtime with the local guild, the "Spiked Cannons," to get supplies to the two rival groups as they explore the old mines. With fears of bandits that could interrupt these shipments, the crew is on high alert for any suspicious characters. In the midst of all this, two wandering Pokémon find themselves unwittingly involved in the guild's activities.

One of the best parts of designing a character is drawing them in ways that bring them to life. I don't think I'd show all of these emotions for this character, but its interesting to see how they would emote in those ways.

Team Ragamuffin - Team Application

TEAM LEADER:

Jerry

Species: Mudkip

Age: Young Adult (18-ish)

Height: 1' 04"

Info: A mellow if sardonic street-smart drifter who travels the world looking for a home and some peace and quiet. Being in a world of Pokémon though he’ll often fall into high-stakes adventures where he has to use his head to survive. Travels with his lifelong companion Robin, having grown up in a harsh orphanage that they both escaped from. Loves the little goof to pieces and finds him a handful to deal with. Would rather not take responsibility but ultimately does the right thing in the end.

Character Trivia:

- Has a fear of shadowy places and candles.

- A bookworm (constantly reading)

SECOND MEMBER:

Robin

Species: Chespin

Age: Adolescent (16-ish)

Height: 1' 04"

Info: A sweet and lovable goof with a penchant for getting himself into trouble, sometimes on purpose. Hard to pin down, Robin is often an unpredictable and playful little runt with a bizarre sense of humor that not even a much stronger and intimidating foe can silence. Often has Jerry to look out for him and keep him grounded but is lucid enough to sense people’s suffering and offer a helping hand or a shoulder to cry on.
