You're not one for whimsy are you? As for how long this could be? It could end shortly when you get to the top of this place. Or it could have you going to multiple places to figure out a way to get rid of the connection. It depends on what this string connecting you two actually is. Seeing as it's allowing us to talk to you both and well.. exist in theory?

Plum: I don’t want to think about the possibility of this lasting longer then this or having to go to multiple places to get it removed, nothing about this is “whimsical”

Plum: I mean, I am a slugcat so probably because of that? What even is a cat?

Peach: um I think it’s too big for that

if you could change into any creature, what would you like to be?

Peach: oh! Do you mean subspecies or an entirely different creature? Cuz I wouldn’t mind being a scurpy or even those water scugs that live around the bigger bodies of water

Peach: If it’s a different creature then I’d say scavenger or yellow lizards, they have such big cuddle piles

Plum: I am what I am I don’t exactly wish to change that

Plum: I have been something else, you’ve something else, everything has been something else at one point even if we don’t remember those lives, they were lived, such is cycle and all

The makings of what is considered “me” changes every lifetime, I rather not think of it changing midway

Peach: so far? Up! As per the overseer pointing the way

Peach: as for after all this well..

Plum: isn’t it obvious? Once this is gone this whole thing is over, we’ll go back to our respective colonies and never have to see each other again, hopefully the whole voices thing will stop as well

Peach: yeah… that.. I suppose, although I wouldn’t mind being able to still talk with most of you

[A dark purple overseer (almost Plum-colored) goes up to Menace and connects with his whiskers, then after a moment quickly dissapears]

[He boosts off and up towards the top of the iterator]

Peach: Oh! Um be safe!

Plum: how many types of eyes …overseers… even are there?

Peach: well-

Peach: -um well before this..whole….. thing, I have seen a pink one, a yellow and green-ish blue one, and an orange one. And there was stories of a red and black one but I haven’t spotted that one before, actually I don’t think anyone currently alive in the colony has seen one in that color, although paya has seen a magenta one and the ones here are red-ish? Well more pink and cyan

So that’s…. around 6? If stories are to be believed and we are counting the one leading us

Plum: I have heard of an eye or I guess overseer that was red and black but never really saw much before, at none that I really committed to memory, the scavengers would typically hunt them, so staying near or allowing them near the colony was avoided

I don’t know if it was actually one that was seen before or just a weird fact past down, I never saw or heard of a red and black one before joining my colony

Well I, for one, do it cause it's fun, but also there are some things we aren't allowed to say, as in this context, they may break things. For example, if one is made aware of how this ends up, or how another journey shall go, then that will be deleted before it will reach you, as that would ruin the fun

Plum: some of you know the future? What do you mean another journey? Have you followed others before or do you expect this to go on long enough to count as another journey? Voids I hope it’s not the latter

Peach: as upset as I may or may not be, it doesn’t necessarily mean I won’t stand by what I believe in, it’s just.. not worth causing a fight over, this situation is no time for fighting between each other
