((Hi there, very tired and sad mod here (｡•́-•̀｡)

((I really should have done this months ago, but well, now’s the next best time I guess.

((I’m officially abandoning this blog’s story.

((I lost the muse for these guys a while ago, and fully left the LoZ fandom a few weeks back. As much as I would love to hope that one day I can finish this, it probably isn’t happening.

((I’m going to be leaving the blog up as an archive, and possibly for posting the notes on the future arcs and mysteries that we never got the chance to explore. (there’s an arc and a half and wayyyyy too much worldbuilding if anyone’s curious) I put way too much heart into this AU and interpretations of the characters to fully leave them behind, but I will not be doing any more IC stuff.

((I’ll be queuing this post to repost a few times in the near future. Thank you to everyone who participated in this blog, you guys made my summer running this absolutely amazing (｡•́w•̀｡)b

((Hi! Mod here with a blog status update!

((This blog is going into a short hiatus for two reasons. 

((1: Burnout. Don’t worry it’s not too bad but I wanna take a break before it gets worse.

((2: My brain decided to change my main interest again so I’m in way more of an Infinity Train mood than a LoZ mood at the moment. It’ll probably swing back in a week or so but for now I’m taking a break.

Bold of you to assume I have one of these "internal skeletons"

“Are you implying that you don’t? Cool, same.”

“Hey maybe we could make a club or something... Call it the ‘Boneless Club’...“

“??????”

“Did you guys seriously think I had all your dumb internal organs and stuff? Nah, the only stuff in here is dark magic and raw spite.”

“Anyways,” he turns back to the Anon, “do you have a name? 

“.... Actually I don’t care, your name is Noodle now.”

Shadow summons a small sticker that looks like a cartoon-bone with the circle-backlash symbol over it and sticks it onto the side of the Anon’s glasses. He then makes another and sticks it onto his belt-buckle.

“Welcome to the Boneless Club, Noodle!”

*smirks and gives Vio one of these clip-on foxtails from some very cheap carnival costume. It's bright orange and clashes horribly with his tunic.* Alright, the skin color would be a bit mean, so how about this? Look, you and Shadow even match now! *giggles and snaps their fingers which causes both accessories to turn bright pink, which makes it an even worse eyesore for anyone who dared to look at them*

Green and Red at least try to be polite and not laugh at their brothers’ misfortune, but a giggle or two still slips out. Blue chooses to forego all that “politeness” nonsense and he makes no attempt to hide his grin and snickers.

“I was this close to avoiding your nonsense, but no, you just had to do this.”

“Hey, at least they’re being fair about it.”

For once, Shadow approves of the Anons’ shenanigans.

((Well here’s what the updated info was (I’m not very good at writing summaries so sorry about the quality in advance-)

Current story event: The Mystery of the Askers: Something strange has been going on with the mysterious question-asking strangers, something that even they don’t seem to be entirely aware of, and the four heroes intend to get to the bottom of it…

Current M!A event: The Dark World and Dead Friends: A mischievous Anon has trapped the four brothers in the Dark World with no Moon Pearls and no apparent ways out. To complicate matters, they also somehow resurrected Shadow and left him and the group to their confusion.

M!A conditions:

- The four are in stuck in the Dark World and have no Moon Pearls to use for escape. This condition and the event as a whole will last until they make it back to the Light World. - Shadow is alive once again, and will remain so until the event is over. - Green’s, Red’s, and Blue’s hair is now dyed their respective colors. This will also last until the event is over, or until I get tired of recoloring the icons ;u; - Shadow is now wearing a cat-ear headband that he can’t take off. This will last until the event is over.

“Oh, it’s you guys again.”

“...The Pumpkin Incident? That happened a month or two ago. When Green was first getting into cooking I got him a cookbook full of pumpkin-based recipes. I thought he’d like it because they all seemed pretty tasty, and it was very easy to follow.”

“He... well frankly I have no words to describe the look on his face when I gave him the book except for Very Not Okay.”

“Green still made all the recipes within a week though, and he seemed to enjoy doing it. All the dishes were really good too! Especially the soup... which now that I think about it wasn’t in the recipe book at all. Huh.”

 “Well, anyways, he and the other three enjoyed the cookbook, despite the initial reactions. I’m thinking it was just another one of Those incidents. Nothing too out of the ordinary for them.”

The four wordlessly point at Shadow.

He smirks, then leaps six feet in the air, does a double back flip, and lands perfectly on his feet. 

“That’s not even the highest I can go, but if I were to try for higher I’d hit the ceiling.”

You know what I just realized? Shadow has his hairband (maybe glued to him), the three boys their respective hair colours, only Vio escaped the madness so far. Poor boy must feel so left out. Maybe he should also get an upgrade? We could dye his skin purple!

“Of course the minute we come back you start this horseplay again.”

"And yeah, please do not. I am happy with my look as is, thank you.”

Shadow’s eyes widen as he fully processes what the Anon just said. Quickly, he reaches for the cat-ear headband. 

Apparently the Anon was correct about it being glued on with magic, since no matter how hard he pulled it wouldn’t come off.

“... Okay one of you better unstick this or I’m revoking your right to an internal skeleton.”

“Just another one of you guys... though I’ve got a slightly different job in the grand scheme of things.”
