The leaders of the three Shatterspaces all met up in the Grim for one of their scheduled meetings; meetings when they hung out and caught up with one another, and even planned potential visits to the other Shatterspaces. But this time, things are a little different. This time there was a large, unfamiliar building standing intimidatingly in the barren wasteland. Upon investigation of the building, it seemed to be abandoned. But when they entered, they found the doors sealed behind them, locking them into the fortress.
Now they appear to be locked inside the fortress, though it is supplied with plenty of food, water, and dormitories for them all. They even house a few limited forms of entertainment, such as books and some selected movies. But not only that, but otherworldly beings are communicating with them through little screens on various walls and devices.

I decided I'd do this as a fun way to work with my AU, and potentially keep it alive enough in my head that I can write it more consistently lol! Because of that, this is primarily going to be a text-based blog! I may get inspiration from one to draw a sketch for it, but I don’t plan to draw much for it.
That being said, things on here may not entirely match up to the story. The big details will be the same, but some smaller details may be different. This could be either 1. I want to do it differently in this setting for simplicity or to have the true (more impactful/accurate) details be revealed in the book, or 2. Because I change my mind when I actually write it lol. Again, I'll try not to have too many continuity errors/contradiction, and I can try to make a note if something is going slightly off-book.
And I’d like to note that despite this, it’s not entirely spoiler-free! There will be some minor spoilers here, but it shouldn’t be anything too big.
Also, on this part, I can dabble a bit more in the ship side of things, if people want. I'm okay with basically any combo of the people mentioned, just none of the Tailses are gonna be shipped with anyone. I don't think I'm going to have any confirmed relationships in the story, but here we can play around with ideas lol

It shows the living room, where some had gathered on the couch and armchairs before the question appeared. Everyone in the vicinity of the TV glanced up when the message appeared on screen.
Once he finished reading, Phantom shrugged. "It all be strange."
Scar, sitting in a chair, rolled his eyes. "He has no experience - he's from No Place." he replied without missing a beat. "Rebel, Renegade, and I did look around when we first arrived, though. We wanted to make sure it was safe."
Rusty Rose stepped up beside the couch, her robotic gaze quickly flicking over the question as well before she commented,
"I have also scanned the facility. Nothing odd has been detected. It appears to be an average building."
"Don't think it be normal fer a buildin' teh trap ye..." Dread muttered, only just loud enough for the mic to catch.
"We - Rebel, Ren- Renegade, and I - did notice one odd thing though," Scar explained. "There's a fireplace, but no firewood. Anywhere."
Phantom sighed exaggeratedly at him. "Oh, now it be too cold for ye 's well?" he asked, giving the hedgehog in the other chair a flat look, however it seemed surface level.
"No," Rebel interjected, sitting on the end of the couch closest to Scar's chair. "But isn't it weird to have the fireplace unequipped while everywhere else has had plenty of supplies to fit it?"
"We don't even wear a lot of clothes, but the dressers are full." Renegade commented, standing between Rebel and Scar's seats.
"I think ye be lookin' beyond the treasure chest," Sails called from a table a little ways behind the couch. "I don't see 'ny reason teh be s'picious yet, coulda jus' been'a oversight."
The New Yoke trio accepted the words with a nod, but the expressions on each of their faces showed that they didn't believe them themselves as the recording reached the end.

Suppose it's similar. When I rule the world, I plan on the capital being Eggmanland. It's gonna be a hellish themepark with rides that KILL people! Already made it once back when I ruled 99.9% of the world, but a certain blue hedgehog ended up stopping my fun.
