Ava: *reading a book* Huh… *turns her head to her Dad, Vox* Hey Dad. When you were in the “Human World”, your name was “Vincent Whittman” right?
Ava: Did you also have two different colored eyes and a white patch in your hair?
Vox: *frowns* Yeah. I tired to hide the white hair but hair dye wasn’t— wait why are you asking those questions?!
Ava: Cause you’re in my book! *shows him the page where there is a few pictures of humans who were celebrities at one point in history*
Vox: Oh am I? *getting smug* Well what does your book say about my greatness? That I was the God of Entertainment?
Ava: *blinks* No… it says you may have had something called —
Vox: *rolls his eyes* Narcissistic Personality Disorder. Yeah yeah yeah I get that I lot.
Ava: …Waah-den-burg syndrome.
Vox: *confused* What? Wear the Fuh… frick is that? What are you even reading anyways? *takes Ava’s book*
Ava: It’s a human biology textbook! I was reading about genetic disorders!
Vox: Why were you—? Where did you get this?
Ava: Mr. Alastor gave it to me. He said I should know what humans are since you was once one.
Vox: *gritting his teeth* Oh course he did *feels oddly called out* Ava don’t believe everything you read *burns the book in his hands* you must understand, humans are always wrong about things.
Ava: I know. That’s why I asked you those questions.
Vox: *sighs* well I certainly didn’t have wide eyes. Now did I?
Ava: *looks at the image of Vincent* I guess not. But that’s not necessary to have! You could have type 2!
Vox: *sighs* Ava it doesn’t matter anymore anyways. I’m a demon and haven’t been human in, what, 70 years?
Ava: I just thought it was cool.
Vox: You think having a genetic disorder is cool?
Ava: *shakes her head* No. I think it’s cool that you looked different from everyone else, even when you were human. You didn’t need a TV for people to know it was you.
Vox: *his screen brightens slightly* Well… I did have a naturally memorable face.
Ava: *smiles* You still do.
Vox: *fails to hide his grin as he feels touched by that comment* Avy-Wavy come here! *picks up his daughter and hugs her*
Vox: *laughs with her but calms down* But for the record, I did not have any genetic disorders. I was perfectly healthy and exceptionally handsome.
As Vox puts Ava down, she goes to find a new book to read.
Vox: *catches his reflection by a nearby window and remembers his human face, and knowing part of his punishment down here is that his human face would never be seen in TV again*
