Fam did you get hacked
((Apparently, sorry for @ s))
((Tfw I haven't used this account in years and I get emails about me @ ing myself about some dumb promotion. Apologies good townspeople))
Another investigator dead. Someone had to pay for these crimes, but who? The town voted down the serial killer, and Aaron couldnât kill him either way. The second most suspected was Gil, wasnât it? Aaron wasnât certain of his role, but if he was suspicious to the townâŠ
Aaron has decided to shoot Gil tonight.
"Oi. You there. Did you feed my cat?"-you know who
ââŠCat?â Aaron studied the girl for a moment. âIda?â He tensed up. Itâs been months since he last saw her alive.
He shook his head, as if trying to rid himself of a vision. She still stood there, disappointed as ever. He completely neglected to mention any more about the cat, as if he still had it anyway.
@ask-the-vet

@ask-the-vet
A hurried knock rang out against the vigilante's door. The figure behind it was tense, fingers tapping restlessly agaist crossed arms. "Hurry up, already..." she murmered under her breath. (@ask-the-vet)
After locking a room across the home, the vigilante made his way to the door. He opened it cautiously, ready for anything, really.
ââŠBeth?â He relaxed to his usual state, however relaxed that may be.
âWho else would it be?â A scowl was spread across her face, and she pushed past him into his home without any invitation. How polite.
âYou know what happened, to that kid, right?â She didnât waste any time with small talk and looked straight into his eyes with her tired ones. âAdaline?â
Aaron closed the door behind her annoyedly, watching to make sure she didnât get too close to anything he wants kept private. âThe murdered investigator?â He paused for a moment, trying to figure out why sheâd go to him about anything. âWhat about her?â
A solemn look crossed the veteranâs face. âWeâve gotta⊠do something, you know?â That killer, whoever it is, what if they go after someone else?â
âIâm not the smartest person around, Iâll admit it. But you have to have some theories, right?â She looked like it took a lot of effort on her part to say this stuff, what with the angry sheen of red that was blooming across her face. It wasnât her to go for help, but at least she hadnât run off on her own. That probably wouldnât have ended well. âWeâve gotta make them pay.â
âThe only lead I have is the lover in her will and the so-called sheriff that wanted her dead.â Aaron glanced to the side, remembering she still didnât know he was the vigilante. He couldnât say much without her knowing. âIâm sure the Dexter is on everyoneâs minds, so he may be easy to lynch. Besides,â he grew a little more tense, âIâve heard heâs a serial killer. Almost makes me question Adalineâs loyalties.â
âThat Dexter, she was talking about him earlier. Said she knew he was a serial killer. I dunno what she was doing with him, butâŠâ She shook her head, looking down. Her fists were clenched, teeth gritted. The thought of that serial killing asshole murdering AdaâŠ
It just set her off. âHavenât seen him in the past few days either. Seems to be laying low. But, you know this town⊠theyâll lynch an innocent sooner than a serial killer.â
âPerhaps, then, we should take initiative.â Aaron frowned, thinking of the town doing as sheâd mentioned. âWe should call for a town meeting and let him be judged.â
She looked down, eyes still burning. "S'ppose so.â
She didnât trust this town. She didnt trust them at all. Leaving his fate in their hands, the hands that let Adaline die⊠it didnât sit well with her. âWhat if we canât convince em? Wouldnât he come for us next?â
"You don't think it's worth the risk?"

âAfter searching more thoroughly, a gun and knife was found at the death scene.â Â
BREAKING NEWS! VITAL EVIDENCE HAS BEEN FOUND!
DAY 2 - WEAPONS
BEGINS⊠NOW!
âWho would be stupid enough to leave behind the murder weapon? God. If youâre gonna kill an innocent townie, at least tryâŠâ
âAre there any fingerprints?â
âDropped it in the adrenaline of murdering poor miss Davenport, maybeâŠ?â Daryl hummed, furrowing his eyebrows.
âI think someone needs to check the fingerprints. I donât have the proper materials to check itâ Does anyone?â
âLeaving behind behinds and a handprint,â Cheryl scoffs. âWhoever did this, theyâre inexperienced⊠or theyâre taunting us.â
âCould there be two killers? Since two weapons were droppedâ Jack felt a shiver run up his spine.
âJust the thought of it scares meâ
"The problem is that we don't know if the killer is very intelligent or sloppy and idiotic." Aaron looked up in thought for a moment. "An intelligent killer may want to frame other people and scare people into thinking there's more than it appears."
"I believe that Dexter is someone we should still question, however."

//if Sam/Aaron gets his hands on that letter heâs probably going to kill all of the mafiosos
//The biggest question is which Mafioso muns would be fine with it and if he even sees the letter at all
Rumor spread, despite his inward nature, and Aaron heard of the "sheriff" that wanted Adaline dead- Never trust a sheriff claim. He'd learned that the hard way with a certain framer- He was almost confirmed as someone against town. Maybe justice should find her way to him. Soon.

if you had to kill anyone, what motive would you have?
âIf I know in complete certainty that someone is a criminal and do not follow the law of this town, their life will end at the barrel of my gun.â
ââŠIf Iâm not certain, or if they are still young⊠I wouldnât want to risk what Iâve faced previously. Not only for my own sake, but that of morality.â
"The investigator..." Aaron never had much of an interaction with her, whether due to not being very social around, or going out at all. Making friendships in this town seemed like a bad idea, especially from what happened with his first one. Still... Justice must be delivered, but... "a sin of passion"? The only lead he could find from that was the note to a man named Dexter on her will. It's still too early to jump to conclusions. Perhaps Beth would know more about it. She was someone he could trust, right?
Shoot me daddy
(Thanks to @confused-little-soldier 's Lucidia for drawing while I'm unable to) "Looks like I'll be needing to use her for something soon," the vigilante said in reference to his shotgun. "The murders are beginning again, and it's my job to stop them." "...Beth may be the first to go if she's keeping a member of the Mafia in her home... Sadly, there's not much I can do to stop him." @nothingbadeverhappensinthistown
